Welcome to XDA and I see you not knowing the rules very well(its not matter to me ).
1) Its not so simple answer what ROM is best for us(We all[like me]tryed maybe 1-20 dif. ROM-s). Just read the replay from ROM treads(it takes time, but it worth for it) and find the ROM what BEST FEED YOUR NEEDS!!!
2) Use the search, before posting in dev. section(nothing personal. I know I was making these mistakes too, when I was noob!)

Hey guys, my O1 will be sold tomorrow, and i will buy a galaxy gio.
I found theres a unofficial gingerbread rom for ace and gio at the samfirmware.com if im not mistaken.
Do you recommend flashing the gingerbread rom from samfirmware or just use the custom roms available for ace?
Ive read that the gb rom from samfirmware for ace/gio, battery life is improved and more user ram available.

Ace and Gio may share the same processors but that doesn't mean they can share the same ROM.

Well, I would if I own one.
Why don't you try to gather peoples who owns Gio? Instead of asking one who doesn't actually have anything to do with that phone.
One more thing; next time you'll post any of your "Gio" stuff, make it on the main Android general forum, you'll get more chance of getting noticed by fellow Gio users.

Currently there are NO official CM ROMs for our Galaxy ACE. Anyways there are a couple unofficial that you can give a try Here and Here... One of them is not being supported anymore since its creator sold his phone.
Good luck bro... and NO ACE is not the codename for our phone in cyanogenmod.com ... It is COOPER

well,,i guess no one in here will answer to such kinda questions.. its kinda stupid one(no offence) ...coz there are no best rom...my favorite rom wont b ur favorite,,there are plenty of roms with different features and charachteristics.so u must choose the best rom for you...all the roms are gud in their expected ways.. no one will ever answer for such question....so make sure not to ask diz kinda question..(u could hav asked dat "What rom do u use" o sumtin similer,,then u might get some answeres..) ,,
well,,anyway,,as a fellow country men ,, ill giv u some hints,,curently im using a rom called, "SuperNexus",its a jelly bean rom,light weight, fast,,yet with some small issues, but im okay with them... ,,so try dat,,and also there is a rom called "Omega",,its great,,with all the default s3 features n sum more,,so look into dat tooo...cynogen roms are always gud for most of the audience..so..try dat tooo.....:good:
and there are plenty of roms like the above mention ones(may b much better) ,,so make sure to try them all,,and make sure to read the rom descriptions b4 u flash,,sum roms have some bugs, dnt flash those unless u willing to take da chance,(DO NOT BLAME THE DEVELOPER) ,,,

dont talk like a stupid , because someone already try to help me. and i used the built-in version, it work same as play store version bt my built-in version was more smooth and looked fancy. and as im a junior member, im still learning. and after i learned it , i posted another topic in right section but can't delete it. and ur the real badass because u have no manner %)

2-thats the stupid question of 'built-in' version.....the build whats might be older version of app from google play....

ok, i get my solution. i have a little bit mistake, i mean pre-installed (like fb) whatsapp software. however, i get another xmp mobile that have gb .62 version and the pre-install whatsapp messenger. but i connected to internet and it says it is outdated. and in play store i see that there is no update option but a it have an uninstall option. so thread must be close here or mod plz remove it

There are many good JB ROMS here, you should try yourself to make your own opinion.

I can't decide who the bigger idiots are. The ones who are silly enough to ask for a 'best rom' or the ones who actually give their half assed recommendations.
