HTC kickstand case - HTC Rezound

Anybody know where to find them in stock? Htcpedia is out of stock. Looks awesome.

It depends on how hung up you are on a particular case. There's a few different ones out there if you look online.

This particular one I'm pretty set on. No place seems to have that OEM case afaik

I use this one and it's very solid and works very well for me:
http://www.tridentcase.com/case/htc/htc-rezound/htc-rezound-kraken-ams-case.html
You can find it for anywhere from $36 to $39 online if you search. It may still not be your cup of tea, but It's the best heavy duty protective one I've found with a kickstand. Regardless, good luck finding what works best for you!

Yeah i agree with him. And I use mine with the extended. There is a thread on here i don't remember what it was and it tells you how to mod it to fit extended and I can confirm that it works. I recommend this one if you like a little bulk

Look for an eNovo case from EBCases soon

Got an email from them that stated they are working on a case for the HD. They are a USA based company and make some really nice slipper/flip cases and pouches. Their belt clip is, without a doubt, the best out there.
Check them out:

They do ship worldwide.

Hey, do me (us) a favor and email them to "step it up" and make a case for it. They tend to be a little reluctant to make cases for phones/pda's not available in the USA. If we all express a desire for one they might actually make one and move a little quicker.

BLUREX Leather Slim folio Case in UK, where?

Really want this case
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BLUREX-Leather-folio-Multi-Angle-Transformer/dp/B005ESY8VA
But Amazon UK don;t seem to have any stock. Anybody know where I can get one? or a similar style?
Ta
Paul
I ordered one of these but it never turned up and apparently the trader isn't going to get them back in stock which really sucks as they're by FAR the best ones that were available in the UK.
I had a look and couldn't find anywhere.
I got the ACase from Amazon, arrived the next day, imo it's worth looking at as an (inferior) alternative.
Really do want this case
Feel your pain, I am also based in the UK and am struggling to find a decent case for the transformer.

The tuff luv case is one I can recommend, although the stand is a bit of an ugly solution compared to this one. I couldn't wait for one of these or the official asus one, but I have been really happy with it.
Still can't find this case
Anyone have any luck? Us UKers are unlucky in this respect!
Actually, it's not even available in the US right now. It's been out of stock on Amazon for the last week. It has their "currently unavailable. We don't know when or if it will be back in stock" message up. It may come back, but who knows when.
Hmmmm how annoying!
Any case similar in the UK?
I am considering getting the LuvTab from Amazon.....purely for the reason I am sick of waiting for something decent to arrive in the UK

Have a look at this case
Or this one which is cheaper.
Can't view ebay links here at work, but will take a look tonight
I know this is old, but I 100% agree on this, its one of the nicest cases I have found but can't seem to find it anywhere as it is out of stock I hate the slide in cases they all look so flimsy and not the best of qualities, if anyone has come across one similar to the Blurex please tell!
This one is pretty close:

looks very nice, but i can't find it on amazon.co.uk (i'm from europe too and looking for a nice, not overpriced, folio cover)
i think i'll buy this one: http://www.ebay.it/itm/Cover-Up-Asu...Accessories&hash=item2a140c7626#ht_665wt_1163
it looks decent (if faux leather btw) and feedbacks are good
so why cant you just get it from the us site?
because i tried to buy a thing shipped via usps (not tracked) and i had never received it... probably got stolen by the custom guys :/
i prefer buying within ue borders.
btw, i've ordered that one from ebay, i'll let you know when i'll get it

Best Buy Free Case

Has anyone gotten a look at the Best Buy case that comes free with the Note pre-order?
I was wondering if there is a screen protector included. I'm going to assume there is none unless someone has seen one.
Assuming it's the same as the international (which I believe it is), I don't see a screen protector.

Thanks for the link, that was the worst review ever, but it was good to see what I'm getting. It looks very similar to the pics on BB. I really want a rugged case(i.e. Ballistic, Trident, Otterbox). But I'll take what I can get.
NFC
Does anyone know if NFC will work with this case on?

That's a very good question as it seems the nfc antenna is located in the back cover. I doubt it will work.

Best Buy rep
I stopped by best buy and asked the rep if the case would support NFC she looked at me like a deer in headlights and had no idea what NFC was she got another rep and asked him and he said NFC is on the Note but does not work yet I I told him I knew that already and wanted to know if the free case worked with NFC since the antenna for it is on the back of the case that comes with it he had no idea and asked his manager 15mins later the manager came out and said he had no idea yet he would think it would but could not say for sure since they aren't here yet he tried to find more info on his computer but found nothing so Best Buy doesn't even know yet the free case isn't turning out to be that much of a plus anymore.
The fact it's a flip case basically eliminated any interest I might have had in the BB deal for the Note. I can understand having a flip case for a tablet....but for a phone, I would find it as a hassle. I'm still gonna settle for a regular case, most likely a TPU one.

We got no info on the actual flip case from corporate. It was a deal struck with samsung and bby corporate and has nothing to do with the retail level associates. Right now they are sitting in a warehouse waiting for distribution. Im sure they will be in before release. If they are there by wednesday I can give everyone a definite answer. After that Im on vacation
I doubt these were made for the ATT model. If they are the ones that were already made, it will not work as the nfc is not in the back like the ATT model.
One the bright side it was free and nfc is not yet enabled.

Same here. Flip case with a pen device just screams of the original Palm PDA devices.
No way I can bring myself to use one of those again.
Best Bbuy Mobile
The people at Best Buy Mobile are way beter than the people at Best Buy they let me know my Note was in although the free Flip case was not they still could not tell me if it has the NFC contacts on it since they have not seen them but were very nice even though I have been pestering them for days guess I just have to wait and see don't know if I should get a case off internet that has the NFC contacts or wait till the free flip case is in

The best buy case does in fact support nfc. However I tried to download Google wallet and it said its not a supported device :-( I knew this would happen but still sad. But yes I love my note and the case beat buy gave me with it!

I played with one at AT&T for about 20 minutes today and I really didn't like the flip case on it. It felt very cheap. I've played with another one from someone's international Note and it was much sturdier. I hope the one Best Buy gives out is more solid, but I got a feeling its not.

Felt like cheap cardboard to me. Like I could have easily bent or snapped it. The one I played with for the international note had hard plastic and looked nice as well. Hopefully the best buy one will be like the international one and not the cheap crap I saw at the AT&T store.

Questions from a prospective buyer. Opinions wanted.

How difficult is it to root the Note right now? I was thinking about getting one soon but I don't have too much experience rooting devices (I've got a Kindle Fire running CM7 and I rooted my old Samsung Intercept, but those were pretty much rooted with apps or a prebuilt program so I can't take much credit). But I would definitely like to root it. I have gotten used to the freedom already.
Also, what's your overall opinion on the Note? I've heard a lot of good about it but I haven't heard much from developers personally.
I know its size is a prominent aspect but it's also what I like least about it (I haven't held one in my own hands yet though). If I'm into the capabilities of the Note but not its size, should I just go for the Galaxy S II?
Any and all opinions are welcome from Note owners.. I'm trying to make up my mind by the time I get my tax refund back (finally!) so anything you can tell me about your experience with the beast is appreciated.
Thanks,
NoGloww

Rooting is easy, you can use Odin to flash a pre root kernel. Takes all of two minutes. I enjoy this phone a lot. I wish there was a better choice of accessories, i.e. cases, and am afraid to see how gigantic this phone will be with an Otterbox case. Pretty much all good besides that.

Thanks for your input. I've checked out a case for it already on Amazon. Have you seen this: Heavy Duty Hybrid Case - Silicone Case Skin + Hard Protector Cover Case (Black Silicone + Black Bracket) with Foldable Stand for Samsung Galaxy Note/ i9220
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0071AQNVW/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_us?ie=UTF8
And yeah, an Otterbox? Oh man, I don't even want to think about it haha.
Do you have a link or thread for the root with Odin by chance?

Rooting is super easy. Just download odin, and cwm, and flash it to your phone. Then flash a Kendall or custom rom and done. Takes about 15 minutes for me.

I've seen a few, but the build quality isn't where I'd like it. The reiko I hear is sloppy, the kracken is supposed to be good, just looks bad. I've got a speck case and it's embarrassing. 800 phone wrapped in scratched crap. There's a pre root kernel by da g, if all you're looking for is root, that's the way to go. Once you flash that your counter goes up one so it won't matter if you decide you want to go deeper and flash a custom recovery later down the line. Sorry I don't have the link for it, but it's in dev section for this phone and it will have all the appropriate links for drivers, Odin, and kernel.
update, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22684223 there's the pre root kernel for this phone along with drivers etc. that is the reiko case I saw. I read reviews on either that one or that one in black/ blue that said it was a sloppy fit. 7 bucks beats 60 though. According to Otterbox the defender is 6 1/8 * 3 3/4 or somewhere around there. I don't know if that would even got in my pocket anymore

I picked up two cases from Amazon since they were so cheap:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0071AQNVW
Fits perfectly; a bit too bulky for everyday use
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H13M2K
Also fits perfectly. Nice and slim, but provides a good grip. It's what I keep on the Note.
$22 for both. Prime got it to me the next morning. Amazon also has 32GB micro SD for under $25 if you are placing an order anyway
