Dolphin Browser HD Drains Battery Quickly And Uses Lot's Of Ram...As Galaxy Y Has Low Ram So Better Option Is Try "Opera Mini" Browser From Google Play..It's Really Fast ..Just Try It..
hey Madfrog91 the browser mentioned in my cmmnt are working perfectly on SGY as i am also using the same...
And i didn't knw much about battery draining and more RAM consumption by Dolphin browser!!!!!
So just use it, and experience it..........
Dolphin HD is head and shoulders about the rest. Especially with its new interface.

Try Opera Mini and Dolphine Mini Browser for fast and low memory usage
Dolphin browser hd or opera mobile these two are best for me
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
Opera mini rulez, its fast and looks good.
GREEEEEETZ!!!
also using Opera Mini for years on all my old and current cellphones. IMHO still the fastest and when it comes to 3g it doesnt consume much of my data plan
Finally i choose dolphine mini, its more from opera mini..
Thanks for information guys

I used opera mobile.
I test some browser but some prob with these
UCbrowser= smooth than others , but uses more ram and processing use that drains your battery, and sometime it get slower.
Dolphin hd/mini= the cool browser. But on my 2g network it is slower.
Maxthon = good speed but for the tabbed browsing it is not good as opera and ucbrowser.
About opera it is best for me it is fast with opera turbo it saves your bandwidth so you browse more with paying less
Best for tabbed browsing it load websites fast and also in background
so go for opera browser

ypu I too agree that opera is best but sometimes I face problem of getting stoped of my download and also it doesn't allow me to resume it...
I have to radownload it....

Which Browser is for the X8 the Best?
1. Default Browser
2. Dolphin Browser
3. Opera Mini
4. Skyfire Browser
I use Dolphin and prefere it becouse of the add on. But i must say that i dont use many add ons probebly only one
So now i want to know which one is the best what is your opinion? and why?
Skyfire for me.
Default Browser +1
you can vote also and it would be helpful when you say why you prefere the default browser.
I just have a question to whom who use dolphin! when i use the back botton to exit they always ask to clean or minimize or close the browser! i would prefere closing without asking is this possible?
Its no problem to me just clear cache to clear memori

when it detects embedded flash it converts it to HTML5 and sends it to your phone.
when i tried it, some times it worked some times in failed depends on skyfires servers.
For me Opera Mini 6 for daily browsing especially Mippin.com and sometimes Opera Mobile 11.

yes opera mini is fast and sufficient

you can find dolphin mini in market, it's free, and difference? it's liter version than normal dolphin, doesn't have annoying advanced options and toolbars that fill your whole screen, try it, and decide, and also have gesture feature, witch are very useful while browsing...
my second choice is skyfire because of semi-fake flash player

sorry for my poor english jaja
how about xscope browser??
Sent from my X8 0.15 using XDA App
Definitely Opera Mobile 11, but for flash - Skyfire
Dolphin Browser (not mini nor hd)
Simple, fast, with tabs, tab preview, google bookmark sync and friendly as default browser with all its functionnality included.
for me , the best is native browser

hello, im looking for the fastest internet browser for wildfire. can you help me ? which one do you use ? I dont care about the design, just speed . . thanks in advance
Opera mini is faster for lower data speeds as it hav severs to compress and send data to mobile browsers..but on fairly good data speed you could try xscope..
For me it's the stock Android Browser.
Opera Mini if you want pure speed.
Opera Mobile if you want better website rendering (JavaScript enabled) and speed.
I prefer Mobile myself, hate Mini.
I found Miren to work pretty well for me. It's got a few nice features too.
I prefer the stock browser.
I'm using Dolphin HD, simply because of the support for lastpass and xmarks. I just wish firefox supported the wildfire!
I'm using Dolphin HD..

Yes, and it works flawlessly.
opera opera and only opera
Unquestionably Dolphin Mini, a full featured browser with lots of goodies built In (like page capture, footprint tools, and lots more. Very easy to use, hardly any learning curve. Really its the only browser that feels like it belongs on your phone. Much better than Opera mini which is clunky compared,

Agreed.
Dolphin Mini is a bit like Google Chrome. My favourite desktop internet browser. So simple and fast.
Dolphin HD

Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I use Dolphin and it's so practical, has a lot of downloadable addons which most browsers don't have.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA Premium App
I'd prefer opera mini for speed and opera mobile also for speed, but mobile has just more opertunities.
mirren is just like google chrome on a phone( fast and small)
boat browser is the best for people that like the iphone browser.
Dolphin browsers are like the firefox for the wildfire we never had.
But like speed and nice design and the most stuff : opera mobile FTW
I use opera mobile 11 as it renders fast.huge improvement over v10
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
I used to use a Dolphin browser for internet browsing, but now I really like xScope browser that looks like standard Chrome and is pretty fast and more user friendly than Dolphin. Opera is good too, but sometimes it does not display pages as they really look.
Zirc is nice one: free, fast, no ads and has adblock.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Still sticking with opera mini altough there has been some unexpected FC's lately and problems with reflowing. In my opinion it's the fastest and easiest to use on wildfire. And I've tried Opera mobile, dolphin mini and hd, miren and last but not least stock browsers.
I am looking for a very fast browser for my Optimus one...
Tried all I could find, but can't seem to find one faster than stock....
I found that some load mobile pages in seconds, but when I try a desktop one... gotta wait a lot...
Don't tell me opera... I need flash and touch Facebook...
Does anyone know a fast one?
If your phone doesn't have a full web browser option you're pretty much screwed! Opera is ok but no flash is retarded & the other browsers are super slow IMO..... Even on evo4g & 3D

Flash in Opera Mobile works (you need to have Adobe Flash 10.3+ installed though).
This is a lie dude! I have evo3d & OG EVO & flash doesn't work or is it because I have opera mini

Notice how he said Opera MOBILE, not Opera mini.
Anyway, my vote is for Dolphin Mini - not the full version (HD or whatever it's called).

Nope it is fast dolphin mini is fast, but I don't like full screen, and that takes too much of the screen to keep the status bar...
I need touch Facebook, and that isn't working on opera mobile...
I just want a browser like the stock one, but with a speed dial and faster windowing... stock is really fast too...
Noticed most (except opera mobile and dolphin) load mobile faster, but on desktop websites... F**k...
Maxthon is fast, also dolphin HD, but it has too many stuff...
Only if opera had better support for some plugins... flash and touch.Facebook.com not working

I'm interested to know how Chrome fares on your single-core devices against the ICS stock browser? For me, Chrome feels rather heavy. Although I can't pinpoint it, I can feel the phone to be quite dragging whenever I'm using Chrome, whereas using the stock ICS browser hasn't given me any sign of slowness at all.
For mobile site ics browser...for desktop site chrome

opera mini, real fast n small. opera mobile, full desktop style browsing, pretty quick too
Chrome is very slow Xperia Mini, I use Dolphin Browser and it works OK.
Chrome at me strongly brakes. Use Opera Mobile/Dolphin Browser or Firefox
If u need to synchronize your browser you chrome but in lww it is very slow so I recommend using dolphin or opera mobile

I Would prefer using the stock ICS Browser dude..
Chrome is taking a lot of space on my Xperia Mini and its Real Heavy so i just toss it away from my XM
Anyway I Use Any Browsers as long it can browse the internet
chrome is still beta no flash support, im using stock browser and chrome,
I prefer to use stock browser over chrome...page load faster on stock while smootness is chrome....but try alternative browser like dolphin hd which is one of the best browser for android

Before I used the excellent Opera Mobile for auto text reflow and flash.
I test Chrome on Xperia Mini but since I found the app ICS browser+ I only use stock browser!:good:
I don't use opened tabs and I have all the same bookmarks sync plus auto text reflow, flash, and the very used extra quick controls.
I can't use Chrome because of this So I'm happy with stock browser for now...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1789939
So as far as I can see most people would suggest against usage of Chrome on single-core devices like our 2011 Xperia line of phones.
Hello mates,
Assuming that many of you are using the stock rom of Sony, with the new firmware, I would like to know which is the best browser? Is Chrome using almost 60 mb of internal memory? Stock Browser ? Dolphin? Firefox?
Please drop your impressions to me.
I use always dolphin for wifi and opera mini for 3g
I use UCbrowser for downloading and opera mini or Dolphin for browsing.
opera mobile. Chrome is a heavyweight.
Maxthon for all browsing, tried many including all above but this one is just the best for now!
Boat browser bro
You need to try them all and choose which one is the best for you.. It depends on what you browse, the internet speed, the options you need in a browser...
for fast internet-dolphin browser
for slow 2g internet- uc browser
