Hi there I was interested in modifying my x10 min pro but one thing I got correct is to root my device but I'm failing to flash it via S1tool, or flashtool, I've also tried the ggsetup.
the ggsetup was able to install the drivers for my device but still the S1tool shows me the following report: Welcome to S1 tool.

My device does try to flash but it doesn't stay on flash mode i.e. the green light appears and the tool recognizes that device is in flash mode but seconds later the green light just fades away and the orange on appears and the TOOL says the device has been disconnected.
Please help I'VE tried countless times to progress, but I've failed
Hi, no one is there to help with this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. and which ever thread i am tying to solve this problem they are taking me to the same firmware download links and there are no files at all.

Yeah.. me to. s1tool wont identify my x10i either, it just wont work. Tryed with usb debug on and off and running it normal or as admin.
The steps i did.
1. turn off phone and unplug usb cable from phone.. left the 1 in pc inserted.
2. press indentify butten.
3. press and hold back button on phone.
4. connect usb cable to phone.
Some times i get the same error.. and phone just boots normal up. Other time nothing happens within s1tool.. ( just keeps loading.. endlessly ) and phone just boots up normal. Ive got no cleu what there could be going wrong.. as far as i can see, i did exactly the instructions there where given. Either way, my phone just keeps booting up normal.
Does some one knows what the problem could be, because ive got no cleu any more. The steps given wont work for me, or im just complete retarded.

as far as one knows if bootloader unlock allowed no, your device cannot be unlocked. maybe there other ways that I dont know.

As the name of the topic says, I'm not able to unlock bootloader by test point method. My phone's firmware version is 4.0.2.A.0.58. Tried many times but everytime I'm getting stuck at "PLEASE ATTACH TURNED OFF PHONE NOW" in S1tool2. Where am i going wrong?

EDIT: The problem is solved. May be I was not pressing down the volume rocker at the right instant. This time I did and it worked. I'm really sorry for posting this thread in a hurry.

You need to unlock your bootloader.Go to X10 Mini Pro General and search for my All In One guide.
I will also suggest to try with different data cable....may be problem with your cable....I faced same problem earlier but after replacing cable everything was fine...!!
Hey bro, did you fixed your problem. I have the same problem, I can't go into the flash mode. What should I have to do?
My even doesn't want to show me green diode at all. All the time it is orange.
Try to HOLD the back button,do not immediately release the back button as soon your phone connected to flash mode

Have You tried SEUS or PC companion? (I always used to fix all of my problems with flashtool with this ROM)

I also had a DEAD bootloader. It took me arround 4 hours with different tools but nothing. Of course the PC recognize nothing but SEMC flash device in Device manager (only when from poower off I plug the cable USB with back button pressed). Finally I launched Companion (with phone unpluged) > Support zone > Repair phone > X10 and now it asked me to plug the phone (powered off and with the back button pressed), and it started to download and install. It took some time so I was tired, so went to sleep, letting it in update progress. In the morning I found some steps ok, and I think one failed (I can't remember which one). I was started it again the S1 tool and now it says that the bootloader is alive, similar with the report of S! from here: http://i-amhereforyou.blogspot.ca/2012/06/unlock-bootloader-for-xperia.html
But the bootloader is locked, with no ROM installed on it, so FlashTool can't unlock the bootloader because the version of the rom is not recognized, so the option Unlock is not in Plugins...
FlashTool is useless I think because it can't flash a ROM because the bootloader is not unlocked and it can't unlock it because the phone has no ROM !!! What a pain...
I think that the only chance is to have the phone completeley restored to stock rom unloaded bootloader, but at least to have it booting in android, so I can check "USB debuging" to start the unlocking process by FlashTool.
But Companion (neither SEUS) are unable to install the factory image for an error that I can't remember (I am at work now, I will try again when I will go home).
If someone know anything else to try, please let me know.
After hours of tests I advanced a small step (from DEAD bootloader to alive), and I hope that it will still have a chance to be resurected.

If i plug it in to pc companion and click repair phone it starts bu then stops and say that no software is avaliable for this phone.
