[Q] Emulator-x86 and Rage of Bahamut

Hi everybody,
Im trying to fix my problem myself for about a week now, but seems like my nooby knowledge is not enough to get it done...
First of all the description of my problem:
I used to play Rage of Bahamut (in apps described as v2.0) on the Emulator-x86 (ICS 4.0.4 with gpu acceleration). Everything worked fine, but about 1 week ago the admins of the game made an update and my old version stucks at a "404 page not found" page directly after I enter username and password and press the login button.
What I have tried:
I tried several Android versions and app versions on the emulator. The main problem is that newest apk files contain a .so library and I'm not able to start the app after an installation by adb. I tried with libhoudini, but no success.
I checked the http requests and responses to the game server to find out why the older version stucks after the login and I realized that the server denies my "device". I cant figure out what phone information would be needed to cheat their server.
Please dont tell me to use Bluestacks. I know the game works on it, but its not really playable. I would like to use my speedy Emulator-x86.
Anybody out there who knows about my problem or simply needs a challenge? Please help me to run Rage of Bahamut on a emulator x86.
Thanks and Regards
DaShyGuy

[Q] Using flash player on android with Hebrew

I am trying to run flash website with my Android device(Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean 4.3). The website built for Internet Explorer only , but i succeed runming it on my FireFox browser on my PC. When i am trying to run this website on my phone , it run properly except of one thing : the Hebrew shows Gibberish.
I tried to put an image but i couldn't!
I know that Adobe stop publishing Android flash player, but it still can be download from Adobe's website.
I search on the Internet and tried a lot of things:
Flash Player isn't influenced of the browser encoding.
I tried to replace a lot of browsers of android, no one solve the problem.
After understanding the locale can be the problem i decided to make my IE on my PC show the same Gibresih. I change the religion on my windows 7 control panel and my IE showed the same problem.
My device is English but i use application like customlocale2 ( I tried alot of those application). i tried to run the website on my friend galaxy s3 (genuine Hebrew) and the same thing happend.
After searching on the internet i found this [link][2] which show how to change Firefox config on android device. I saw that the locate isn't for Hebrew. I tried to change all the configs that look like related to locale from my PC FireFox(couldn't find how to import config to Firefox android) but the same thing happended. (Maybe i miss some configs).
Firefox doesn't have Hebrew edition to android device yet.
When i tried it on My Google Chorme on my PC , the same thing happend. when i change the language of Google Chrome (including UI) and tried it works!
I tried to enter to other Flash site i know and the Hebrew was upside-down.
Hoping to find an answer
Thanks in advance,
Ron

So you want to run websites similar to IE on android?
You can use chrome browser to do so.
Open chrome > menu > request desktop site.

Reverse Engineering question.

Hello guys.
I friend of mine is challenging me to hack his application but I ve a little problem. I think it should be easy to do for you guys but I m noob and I need more informations.
In the application when I click a button a Webview is opened and a link is loaded. In this link I should put some informations. If the informations are correct the website loaded in the webview (or the server in which is hosted) comunicates to the applications that the informations are correct and the application unlock some cool functions I can use. My task is to find where the application retrieve these informations from the webview in order to change the verification method orin order to find where the application unlock the cool functions (but I m sure that if I find where the application is getting data from the webview I can find the rest). The problem is that I can't find nothing that is comunicating with the webview.
Can you suggest me if there is some functions or classes that are able to comunicate with webview or website?? Or if there is a fast way to find the function used ??

you need Downloader Browser-Plugin 1.0
Have the same problem with my new "Vodafone TV" box and couldn't find any solution in the internet. Tried loading the browser plugin suggested above but same error message! The downloader app just simply won't connect to the net, period!!!
So, anyone has a solution, or as the op said, can anyone suggest an alternative?
Pitching in, as I'm a new Shield user with the same issue. Here's the page from AFTnews explaining the issue and the work-around; includes an installation video.
aftvnews.com/browser-plugin-now-available-for-downloader-app-on-android-tv
In short, browser capability had to be removed from the Google Play version so the app could remain in the store. The dev provides an APK at browser.aftvnews.com to add the capability back in. Should be the same APK as rainman74 linked to above (Downloader-Browser-Plugin-v1.0.apk).
However, the AFTnews' recommended action of pointing the Download app's browser to browser.aftvnews.com did not work for me; I received the same web access error message from Downloader.
To get around this, I loaded another web browser (Puffin for Android TV), entered the browser.aftvnews.com URL, and Puffin downloaded the APK. I needed to relaunch Puffin, then select the APK from Puffin's download list to install. Once installed, Downloader was able to access the web.
Hope this helps.

So what do you actually enter at the Downloader http:|| screen?
Good question. I may not have been clear, but I was not able to download the patch APK through the Download application.
Instead, I installed another web browser application (Puffin TV, available in the Android TV's play store) and put the browser.aftvnews.com URL in there. When the Puffin TV web browser loaded the URL, it automatically downloaded the APK from the site.
Once the APK was downloaded, I returned to Puffin TV's main menu and selected the file from the download list. When I selected the APK, it installed the APK to patch Downloader. After that, the Downloader app was able to again access the Internet through its browser.
Note: if you are installing Puffin TV to install the APK, you will need to tell your device to allow Puffin TV to install APK's. By default, Android doesn't grant permission for applications to install APK's. That's OK; you can do so under settings and my guess is your device will tell you how to do so.
