Since I couldn't find an LGP690 model thread, I figured I'd post here since the CM7 thread for the model is also on this forum (sorry if this is the wrong thread)
Does anyone have the stock LGP690 messagine apk and LG keyboard apk? I've tried one of the flashable LG keyboard APK's on the forums, but for some reason, it's rather huge on my screen when used. I'm using CM7 for the P690 and I was wondering if it was possible to replace the messaging apk that comes with CM7 with the LG messaging apk as I prefer the chat bubble appearances and I'm quite used to it. (I do not like to use other messaging apps :x )
If anyone is wondering what my current LG keyboard installation looks like, it looks like the attachment. As you can see, there is an additional smiley button (which I find useless as I do not need it) and there is a missing dot (.) button on the right side of the spacebar, like in the original LG P690 stock keyboard.

Has anyone managed to port the optimus one LG stock keyboard ?
I think that i see the apk in the development forum, but i dont remember where
after installation of Swiftdroid 2.0 4M, the dialer application does not have T9 support so the calling is bit harder, i tried to install glass dialer i found here, installed it with recovery (the newest clockwork that came with the installation), it says its successful but when i restart i have the old dialer. Is this glass dialer not compatible with swiftdroid or there is problem with the clockwork? or any suggestion for good T9 dialer?
if you want a new dialer app download go contacts its a great app
Id like to have the dialer that was in Gt540 2.1 version if anyone could share it here ill be grateful, or if someone can tell me how to install the glass dialer, coz more of those custom applications are ether too colorful or slow, or just add t9 support to the one that is integrated in cm7 swiftdroid 2.0
I do too like 2.1 dialer and contacts search box, im testing quite of few , also i found a tutorial that explains how to modify themes and apps. I'll come up with something usefull i feel like working on that today.

Hi there!
I saw that development has just started here on XDA: LINK
I just got my P6 this week also, and I'm relatively new to Android anyway.
I installed the Nova launcher and it gave me an option to be the default launcher, and home screen. I found that this disables the built in "Theme" app functionality, because it lists no themes available (original Themes are: Berry, Crystal Love, New Vintage).
I suppose, it would be easier to replace the Phone.apk and Contacts.apk with AOSP ones, rather to modify themes. Or at least I prefer to delay theming until rooting can be reversed for warranty issues.
Bye!
I wasn't sure where to post this thread, so feel free to move it.
I have the home screen on my LG G3 themed to look like stock Android. It looks very nice, but now I want the rest of my phone (contacts, settings, etc.) to also have the stock look and feel. CyanogenMod is an option, but I am not at all experienced with rooting and installing custom ROMs.
My question: Is it possible to replace the settings app on my phone with the settings app from, say, a Nexus 6? Where could I find this sort of file? Thanks for all your help!
I've got an unlocked ATT V10 on T-mobile. As we all know, theming is disabled on the ATT variant. I've tried every trick to try to get themes working on the phone, but nothing has worked. Every time I attempt to install a home theme, font, or keyboard theme smartworld will force close as soon as downloading reaches 100%. No theme is installed.
I know what you are thinking, "just use Nova launcher or a different keyboard". I am using Nova, BUT LG keyboard works best for me having to cycle through 3 different languages. AND there is a keyboard theme for the default keyboard that I had on my G3 that I really really want on my V10. The question is: can keyboard themes be side-loaded and installed? If yes, where can I find that particular theme? I don't have my G3 anymore or else I would download the theme and try to find the apk(if there is one), copy it to my V10, then install it. The theme is trisection_white.
