I was wondering if someone could send me the stock mail app. I uninstalled it due to fc's I even did factory reset didn't work so I uninstalled it and hoped to re install it.

My email has stopped updating. Everything else works fine. I have powered down the phone, removed the battery, restarted the phone, cycled the airplane mode.
Everything I can think of up to removing the email accounts and re-adding them. That is next unless anyone has any helpful suggestions.

why haven't you removed/readded the accounts? that's what i would do. make sure sync options are set as well. what client app are you using? email or gmail or something else?
I tried to do that, but it said I had to reset the phone to remove the main email address.

Apparently, gmail doesn't like low phone space. I cleared up some space, and emails started showing up again.

I've only noticed this problem with my sgs2, never had it with atrix or HTC inspire. But my gmail app. almost every week will not send attachments or sync new emails. The only thing I can do is clear data and cache and the problem is fixed. But its annoying because I will send emails and the person I sent it to never gets it and when I check gmail its stuck in the outbox and it says sending. Anyone ever had this problem or know of a permanent solution?

I ran into that problem when I tried using gmail when I first got the phone. I just use Kaiten now.

I had several Go apps installed. Not sure what could cause not pictures to come thru eith sms from family. It worked before the GO apps were installed.
Had to factory reset to get it back working.

Does anyone (flex?) know if push notifications are completely disabled in the stock with goodies rom? If so, is there any way to enable them for gmail only (or for all apps if necessary)?
I've been watching this rom since day 2, but had issues with it in the past and recently started using full time with 2.11. I couldn't find anything related to disabling push notifications, but can imagine this is the main reason the rom saves on battery. I bring this up because I need push notifications for gmail and updating on open just doesn't cut it.

Nothing in this Rom is disabled. Check/double check your settings and that you wiped and flashed correctly. Everything works perfect on that Rom it'd be my first recommendation for lte users

Thanks. Looks like it was bad backup data from Google's servers. I did a clean rom install (wiped cache, dalvik, data, system) so that wasn't it. It looks like it had bad backup data from the google servers or something. Uninstalling updates to gmail and clearing it's cache and data brought push back. Good to know it was just me because the battery life I'm getting is unbelievable.

Just to clear things up a bit seems like when you flash a rom sometimes Gmail push notifications will stop working. Simple fix is to first uncheck and recheck Gmail snyc. And if that doesn't work delete the account and then re-add it.

Everytime I use Facebook messenger ill receive these errors one right after the other. They appear after I send a message or shutdown the app. I uninstalled and re-installed and the same thing keeps happening. Thanks in advance.

Wipe and flash the rom again also what launcher are you using ?
No rom, just stock rooted. Using GO launcher. However I've been using GO launcher for a loong time now including having both apps of which neither has had a recent update

I have problems with messenger when I have the chat heads active. I will receive the system ui crash lots of times and then when I disable it I never see the error again. Might be worth a try?
I've had the chat heads disabled since they first came out, not a fan.
Well I narrowed it down at least. It was my launcher (GO Launcher) I set sense as my default and used FB messenger and didn't receive the messages. No to figure out why. I'm gonna contact GO as they have EXCELLENT customer service, partly the reason I use their products.

Huh that's strange that you all of a sudden started getting errors with that launcher even though you've used it for a long time. Glad that you were able to get it narrowed down though and hopefully they will have an idea of what's wrong and how to fix it
