Hi does anyone also having this issue... Whenever i take picture from my nite after it captures theres white line in middle and bottom i thought its rom so i flashed to stock rom stock kernel stock radio but its still there.ive attached a picture as sample. Any thoughts on that?...

Lol that wasnt question but yeah it is chicken karahi a pakistani spicy chicken dish and yes it does have jalapeno tomato and other stuff... So you guys think that i shud try another camera apk file...but how?... Where can i get another camera apk file?

I really doubt its the camera app. Try downloading a free one in the play store and see if you can duplicate the issue.

I talked to samsung guys and they are trying to fix it for me... im concerned now because the flash counter is like 21 or so... does it even matter?... what is the safest way to do everything back to factory so that my warrenty wont be voided...
Flash stock thru odin...and use the reset counter flash...how long have you had your note?...is it under 30 days?...did you get it thru at&t?....if so sounds like a defective camera and they will repair the camera....or either send you a reburbished one depending on how you bought it...

So I did flash to stock stock recovery counter reset and sent it to samsung they found problem with camera and replaced camera on phone now it works like charm and didn't cost me anything... thanks to samsung....

I flashed the jellybean port over in the i9100 section and it booted but then i restarted my phone and it didnt boot so i had to repartition and flash all the pits and stuff and now when i boot it goes straight to recovery and dosnt let me select things or get into download mode

Yes I did and it won't let me go into download mode
Can you force download mode by plugging in while holding sound up and dowb and power buttons or is it just sound up and down?

I saw you asked if it worked for i777 if its not in this section don't try to flash it to this phone. There the same phone but its not exactly the same so that's why we have ports from the i9100 from the first 5-6 pages I read they are hardly able to get things fully working and a list of broken items like wifi camera ect.

Had the same problem trying to root and flash 1900. Phone did some weird things when I kept trying to boot it but, finally it went to the download screen (don't know y it didn't the 10 other times) and I flashed the original.zip and went through the motions again and all is fine now.

I was just gonna say, when they get into Download mode and check that flash counter, or see that yellow triangle, that replacement is gonna cost you full price.. And you can bet they'll automatically tack it on to your next bill.

I don't know for sure, but I would imagine if it didn't flash, the counter won't trigger and he'll be OK. That's why I asked about the recovery - if it's still stock the flash probably didn't take. If it is a custom recovery, it probably means that the flash took and borked his phone...that would be the case where I would think he could expect a hefty phone bill when they catch on...
Well they would charge him for shipping the new phone checking the old phone, won't be pretty lol. This is what you get for just diving into flashing formware , I read the topic he flashed from and I knew it wasn't good for our phone yet it wasn't ported to i777 so there's no way I'd flash that.

Your phone was totally recoverable. In my view, you should have taken responsibility for your actions, and stayed with the issue till you fixed it.
It's a shame, and just plain wrong, when people abuse the warranty to get a new phone for free when the problem was due to their own actions. It's like stealing. From my time in the forum, however, it seems to be rather common behavior. I even see a post from time to time where one person advises another to do this.
At least AT&T/Samsung wind up with a phone which can be repaired and resold.
And now, since you sent them an I777 which boots to stock I9100 recovery, you will have a month or two of existential anxiety while you wait to see if they charge you full price for the phone, as written in their warranty.

Oh goodie! You messed up your phone and got AT&T to fix it by giving you a new phone, the cost of which they can easily pass on to their other users.:good:
If u screw up yer phone, and u don't want to bother with trying to get "technical" and figure it out, there is a good chance this cycle will repeat itself. I would suggest taking a few days and just pouring over all information available here on how to do things and getting things properly understood before u go about flashing again.

Feeling now like I have married a beautiful wife but she never stops nagging. ( ok I have and she doesn't just incase she reads this >:~} )
Had the yellowish tint and it was getting it worse then sent it off to Sony came back a month later with ICS installed but nfc broken and I use it all the time and getting FC even using contacts aaarrrrrggghhh if it goes back to them I may just give up and jump ship grrrrr
6 reboots and countless FC's and gave up installing the rest of my daily needed app's that never gave trouble before.

Things like this can sometimes be easily fixed with one click of a button. Repair it with SUS.:fingers-crossed:
Just try repair using PcC or SUS, many issue can be fixed but just give it a go mate Gud luck

Oh brought back to stock few times and did a Sus as well but before did that went into config and this forced the nfc which is good but not the proximity which is real bad.

NFC has issues on the stock Roms. Try a custom Rom and see if it works better or even drop back to gb. Stock ice is buggy.
Debating about that but bootloader is locked so can't bring it back grrrr

You can root and install roms on locked bootloader. NFC is fixed for me in mooded ICS.

True, and not that it brothers me rooting and fixing, but really annoys me that we spend plenty of money like lemmings on devices that are really below standard.
It its usually the second version of all manufactures devices that the bugs are ironed out.
So now have to spend hours of my time fixing the crap that should not have been there in the first place. Companies are now out sourcing the support for their devices to the crowd. If only they would reduce their prices to match the poor support!

Ok, so my mom has a Photon and the volume (ringtones and notifications mostly) wont work when shes had it on silent for more then 30 minutes. Ive tried everything I can think of to fix the issue and nothing has changed. Oh yea and she is on her 3rd one and they have all had the same problem. If anyone has any thoughts Id love t hear them!

Yes its on the stock rom. She wont let me root it because shes affraid it something will go wrong.
Does the sound come back once you've rebooted the phone? I mean, taking it out of silent should be enough to unsilence it

You would think that unsilencing it would be enough but for whatever reason in this case its not but yes the phone has to be rebooted every time in order or the volume to work again but sometimes that doesnt even work.
Odd... the only thing I can think of would be to restore it back to a stock SBF, but that might not do much since you've had the issue with 4 other phones. You shouldn't hurt it though

Yeah I agree. I would factory reset, not install any apps, test and see if the problem appears.

ATT isnt going to care whats on the phone anyway.
They are going to send it off to an authorized repair service...(samsung), and it will get plugged in for diagnostic testing, then repaired.
After that, it will get wiped clean with a fresh firmware image, and re-sold as a refurbished device.
Dont worry about the data on the phone, unless it's information that you cant live without. It's going to be wiped away....g
Videos should have been saved on a micro SD card then you wouldn't have this issue.

The kernel is the bridge between the hardware and the operating system... if that gap isn't bridged the hardware won't function.

Although if I personally swapped hardware I would flash to stock and test it out before going back to a custom set up.

I ordered a replacement part for only $5.99 + shipping. You can find the part here: Witrigs. com Given the price, I suggest you order two. I don't recall the shipping, but it wasn't expensive.
