I would imagine so... ? If not, that's going to suck. It just got to my house, so I'll check it out when I get home from class.

That's pretty ridiculous... Sorry, man.

Mine came today. Great deal. It was still sealed with the Lenovo hologram tape.
It is the dock with power supply.

I'll second that. It's the original dock... I got mine in, today, as well. I can't believe it's selling so cheaply!

same here (Belgium)

They won't even ship to Germany :-(

It's back on Amazon today at $22.32 (i.e.$17.99+$4.33 shipping) from onSale! Decided to get a second one: The charger alone is worth it at this price...

No HDMI connection
Got mine yesterday after an "out-of-stock" delay. There is no HDMI connection, I will probably hack mine to see if HDMI is still available when docked. Also ThinkPad Tablet has to be removed from any type of cover/case to fit, very close on the sides and back. Nice power supply and 2 USB connections with the one on the side of the TPT still exposed for a total of three, have not tried to use them (running ICS so my usb connections are pretty much useless right now anyway).

No HDMI is not available when docked.

HDMI not available when docked?
Sadly, you are correct. There is a header for HDMI on the board of the dock but there are enough missing components that it is unlikely that merely adding the connector would enable HDMI. Pretty much makes the dock useless except to quickly charge your TPT. Maybe they are coming out with an updated version which is why these are so cheep, very unlikely, but I can dream. There is also a lot of post production style RF shielding inside this thing; looks like somebody upset the FCC.

Feel free to disassemble yours.

Just did, see my edited post.

Its only $13 today but sadly won't ship to Aus either.

thanks for this. I had one for work but wanted one for home as well. Good deal.

Just saw a seller on eBay offering the dock for US$21.99 shipped.
Search for item #150860380689 or NEW Lenovo (0A33953) ThinkPad Tablet Dock with 65W AC Adapter.
I'm not affiliated to the seller...just passing along some information.

Transformer Charger on the ASUS eStore Price Increased

The charger went on sale yesterday for $29.99....went out of stock pretty quickly....
now ASUS is charging $39.99 for the charger...wth...
http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3613
I really hope some 3rd party chargers come out soon...i need one since i lost the power plug part of the charger and havent been able to charge it...
the TF is relatively cheep for what it is, but is Asus thinking of making bank with accessories?
$150 for dock, somewhat reasoable, but still a bit overpriced.
$40 for cheap (as in weak) portfolio case
$40 for cable?!?!?!
i don't like where this is going.

I disagree on this note.
the dock is pretty damn cheap for what it is. 150 dollars, (I paid 123 shipped through tigerdirect) and its a keyboard, USB ports, SD card slot, and the biggest point here, a HUGE BATTTERY. Think of how much something like this would cost if it were just a battery. People love to charge premium for batteries.
For the accessories, everyone knows tat they are gonna be expensive. Look at Apples accessories. They set the standard for expenive ass items.
That being said, the charger price is wicked expensive. 24.99 would be a fair price from a nmanufacturer.
One bad thing about the charger they are selling is that it doesn't look any different than the one that came with the Transformer to start with. And it's defiantly not worth 40$.

Aggravating detail: Charging cable is even out of stock! LOL
Ok I've been wanting to pinout the charge connector and measure the volts and amps on the charger. I'm going to start today. Stay tuned for a new thread.

$40 for a charger is kind of outragous when you stop to consider that one didn't ship with the dock.I'll be taking extra special care of my cable and charger till there are less expensive alternatives availble.

Some effort has already been done on this and it appears that the charger must be connected to the TF to actually supply voltage. AKA nothing when open circuit. Since charger is listed as 5V and 15V it is possible a sense pin in the connector lets the charger know what voltage to supply.

I don't believe anything other than the tablet/dock terminating pin on the cable is what triggers the charger to charge. Once I my 3.0 extension cable comes in I should be able to figure it out.

There's a couple of stores where I live in Canada, selling the dock for just under $130. I'm expecting Monoprice to eventually come out with a USB cable for the Transformer, which will cost under $10.
WG
I posted a couple comments on ASUS' Facebook page. They deleted all of them claiming I "spammed" them by asking in two separate posts about the availability of chargers.
They magically "undeleted" my post and two different ASUS employees responded with boilerplate "we will check and have someone respond to you ". I never heard back from anyone. This was about two weeks ago.
So, does anyone have any updates? Why no third party chargers? I would think the market is huge. eBay is flooded with cases now, but no chargers.
now its $50 for the charger.. lol?
It is consider cheap. In Singapore, the charger cost S$50 and the cable cost S$20.
I paid for the charger as it is very fragile, used less than a month, it is broken.
I posted a couple items on FB. Let's see whether they get a response.

The fact that Apple gouges their customers is no defense for allowing Asus to do it. I, for one, do not expect accessories like this to be this expensive.

LOL. Since they are not selling it yet, I think any price is likely wrong.
I really like the estore, because they are a direct parts supplier for little guys. We do not have to be resellers nor repair shops.
In retail USA shops and on eBay we can buy AC Adapters now. I am starting to see these chargers distributed in *many* more places as the accessory line catches up.
In my opinion, I cut the estore slack because of the *service* it provides across a broad ASUS line.

That is pretty unlikely since the cable was ordered custom by Steve (electroniccrap.com). And considering it is less than half the price of the docking station (which is the ONLY other way to get the output) it is not a bad deal.

Not sure there is anything made in china that is exclusive to any one any more.
The cable is available for as low as $20 (pack of 50) and $34 (single purchases) free shipped from China.
I also need to correct you on the math, $30+ shipping @electroniccrap is not less than half the price of the docking station, the fact is the total cost would be very comparable (if not more for international shipments) to the discounted rate for docking station $43.69 shipped world wide (merimobiles with "welcome" discount code)
cool, video does work. Hopefully someone in China posts this up on ebay for alot cheaper. The price for a single cable is still a bit expensive.
This is definitely a unique cable because i can't find another similar cable anywhere.

He's definitely not hosing anyone. Shipping internationally is just expensive, especially for small companies.
I was ordering a dock + cable + (something else, I think) and was pleasantly supprized to find lower prices.
I ordered a dock the day before everything went on sale.....
but it did get here very quickly....

If you can wait for a week or two, you can get it for $42.75 shipped (they use EMS from HK post with tracking as well).

The docks is so worth it.
I've been playing around with it and have got a lot of great results.
Right now I use it at work (using wired connection) to stream Pandora, while constantly updating my personal email account and calendar. I put the Live Aquarium wallpaper on for aesthetic purposes.
Using Zyhong's latest 3.3 ROM, I have a full keyboard and mouse hooked to the tablet.
Essentially, this is now a full computer because of the dock.
Before this my gtab had started collecting dust.

OEM Galaxy Note Docking Station

Just figured i would share... i won a bid on eBAY for the Original OEM Docking Station which is typically $49.99 - got it for $21 - SHIPPED
If you are in the market for one, i would definitely go to eBAY. It works perfectly, excellent build quality too. Comes with a charger (says it's 0.15A) so i'm using my A/c charger naturally... lol
Do you have the URL?
For that price...sounds too good to pass up on it.
I noticed the $49.99 dock (/w extra battery) is straight from Samsung's site.
I did find that exact item for $40 on shopandroid...but still considered it a bit pricey based on my current budget.

well... it was an auction on eBAY
Just search for it on ebay but not "BUT IT NOW" i won the auction .. however there were probably 10 other auctions that were the same and nobody bid on them. it was very easy to pick up

I bought an OEM Samsung EDD-D1G8BE for around $25 shipped, saw it on a few daily deal sites a while back. It is a Samsung GALAXY Multimedia Desktop Dock (the box has a "Compatible with Galaxy Note" sticker on it.) It has a LINE OUT and the micro usb, but that's it. Also, it doesn't fit with any case I have tried. I was wondering if it is really a true LINE OUT or is it the same as the headphone jack. When using the line out you can still control the volume with the phone, which is not the case with LINE OUT, as far as I know.
Puremobile is haveing a 35% off sale! and they have the nice OEM desktop dock!

10$ cheaper than bestbuys before tax/shipping. (maybe they will price match)

Genuine Samsung USB 3.0 Charging Cable = $2 + shipping

The product page is confusing but I took a chance on it. Reading the one review, it seems that you really are purchasing a charging cable and not a dock, despite the product image. Even with the shipping cost, the cable is about $5 so I figured it was worth a shot.
http://www.amazon.com/Original-micr...&qid=1382922092&sr=1-7&keywords=galaxy+note+3
Update: LOL! Right after purchasing, I came here to post the link. Upon testing the link after posting, the price had changed to $5.06 with free shipping. Interestingly, that's the same total price it was when I ordered it with shipping.
Not that it really matters, but that's not a genuine cable.
The genuine ones are not available and look at the 'manufactured by'
Again, doesn't really matter.

I agree. The genuine ones are about 5-6 ft long. All of these so called "OEM" cables are usually 3 ft long.
But they should work fine anyways. I bought 2 of them on ebay for $4.
