wipe cache, dalvik cache and fix permissions.

Starting 2 threads for the same problem isn't going to get you an answer any quicker. If anything, it is more likely to p*ss some folks off.

[Q] persisting Google search stopped Jelly Bean

Hi, I flashed jelly bean JRO03H few months back, and it was working fine till this morning, since this morning it gives "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped" message and my keypad does not appear so I'm not able to type or text anything. Can anyone point what what might have caused this and what I can do to solve this issue or do I need to flash my ROM again. ?

1) try deleting data/cache of Google search app and see if it wrks
2) if issue still exsists then do a Wipe cache/dalvik, fixpermission in recovery and see.
3) even after the same the issue exsists then reflash the rom and see

[Q]

Hello I am very new to the XDA forums so please don't bash me =D
I rooted a Galaxy S2 I9100 today and flashed the Jellybam ROM (which is totally awesome!).
However, after the flashing a strange problem appears only with one special app:
Whenever I type in the trillian messenger, trillian suddeny signs out. I can sign in afterwards but the problem keeps coming up - the problem does not appear with the facebook messenger.
Do you have any clue why this is happening and how I can solve that? I already tried reinstalling the app without success.
I wanted to post the problem in the Jellybam thread, but I can't until I have 10 posts... =D

[Q] S3 process apps stopped working

Hy!
I have a SGS3. The problem started with a crash exactly with a " com.google.process.gapps stopped working ". So after this every google apps stopped working. The problem appeared when I tried to update some apps on google store or play store.
Second problem cannot connect the phone with usb to pc.
I readed all the threads regarding on this problem but none of those solved my problem still getting message.
Phone information:
SGS3 GT-I9300
ROM : Jelly Beam 4.1.1
Kerner : Siyah 1.8.6+
What i did before posting problem:
Deleted data in application managemant
Settings > Google > Your Account > Browser (uncheck)
/settings/apps/all....clear browser data and Google services framework data and reboot
Wiped Dalvik Cache in recovery mode
Rebooted and restarted the phone several times
I did manage to back up the phone when it was every thing alright! Do i need to do a restore?
I did't do a Factory reset because i want to hear or read what you fellows prephore.
Or is there some thing else way to fix the problem?
I uploded some pictures to see what kind of error message i am getting!
Sorry for poor english and grammer mistakes!
You can try fixing permissions in recovery, in advanced options. Probably you'll need to factory reset and either restore your backup or flash your rom again.
First of all, you're using and outdated ROM and an outdated kernel. update both. second of all, you need to do a factory reset when flashing, that's why you have issues. or just wrong gapps.

[Q] Camera Failed - Error when trying to check camera firmware

Hi, i have a Galaxy S3 GT-19300 with a faulty camera. "Camera failed" error when i try to access it.
When i try to check the Camera Firmware via *#34971539#, i get a black screen with a grey bar at the top which says "Camerafirmware standard" , below this there no information whatsoever. After a second or two i receive a message stating "Unfortunately, factory test has stopped". The phone has never been rooted and the problem existed prior to updating to 4.3.
I've tried the following.
Clear Camera Cache
Clear partition Cache and restore phone - have restored a number of times
Reseated ribbon connector for camera
Cleared files in \Phone\Android\data\com.sec.android.gallery3d\cache (I've read this can help)
At this stage i'm not sure what to do. Does anyone know why there might not be any information displayed when trying to check the Cameras firmware? Any help would be greatly appeciated.
Baseband:I9300XXUGMK6
Build JSS15J.I9300XXUGMK6
Running Android Version 4.3
Do a full wipe and flash the latest stock firmware with odin. If still the same then it's a hardware fault.

Will give this a go. Thank you
No luck unfortunately, flashed successfully however the problem remains. Both front and rear cam fail in diagnostic menu so im guessing this is a motherboard fault as all other areas have been ruled out.
Same probelem

If you have the same problem then read the op it is most likely a motherboard fault (physical fault not software) it will need to go to be repaired:silly:
