Hi guys, any idea if I can flash CyanogenMod onto an F9191? If so, which version? It's currently running Android 2.1. The phone has been rooted too. I asked the seller for info on updating but he wasn't helpful, and I don't want to brick my phone. Also my computer wont recognise the phone only the SD, which may be a problem. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry but i am a noob to all this so have proberly stupid questions.
After flashing to a customer rom i went back to a stock t-mobile rom. Problem i now face is when i try to download apps from other companies that are not on the app store eg mfortune they are unable to detect the type of phone i am using so i get "sorry we do not currently support your device" despite being able to do so before rooting and flashing. Is there a way i can change this with the release of skyGo on android this month i want to be able to download it. As it will be only on the galaxy s2 and HTC phones for some time i dont really want to wait.
Any help please???
Did you do a full whipe? Adding some details like model number, the rom you flashed and the one you came from may get you some more useful results.
As for the skyGo app, it won't take more than a day for it to pop up as an APK somewhere on the net.

Not sure if that helps i did not however use the guide to flash the secure kernal maybe thats where i have gone wrong.

I have two Chinese tablets ( nonames) with Android ICS that I have already rooted
and I would like to flash a Custom ROM Jelly Bean on it.
I have never flashed a device before.
I dont know even what ROM is compatable to this device.
What I would need to know first before I would ever try to flash it.?

You're going to have to provide more details before anyone can help you.
Going to need to know the manufacturer, tablet specs, model number.
Flashing is different for all tablets so unless you can identify it, there is no way to tell you the proper procedure.
Hey, I recently discovered that even though my phone does not have Android OS I could install it, but being the noob I am, I have no idea how to do that. Any thoughts or help you could offer would be much appreciated, and please try to be thorough and detailed when explaining because I've never done anything like this before and sending my phone to the provider for them to install it sounds like an expensive option. I bought myself Tracer Oxygen GS1 and i had some problem with its software. I successfuly rooted smartphone, but then i tried to install new rom i found under this link:
The problem is, i bricked my phone. However it's still somehow recognized by my pc, so I'm not loosing my faith that it will still work.
So, if anyone of you could supply me original (or just working) rom for this device i would be very very grateful

Hello all, I am really desperate.
I installed CWM and rooted my HTC desire.
I was having a look around CWM settings to try and do a factory reset, but instead deleted the stock ROM from my phone.
It's a UK based phone.
I can't believe how stupid I am.
I can easily re install the rom via a micro SD card but it seems impossible to get ahold of the stock rom. Even HTC themselves didn't have it on their list. (which is annoying!)
Please can someone help me, I know it's not the best phone in the world but I'm travelling in the coming week and I need to be able to contact my family. Does anyone have any rom I could use so the stupid thing turns on!
