Hi Guys,
This is a extremely noob question so all the help will be appreciated. I bought a second hand Atrix. I am not sure if its 4G or simple.
Can any1 tell me which is the most stable ROM out there for Atrix (incl. Finger Print Reader Driver , as that's a must). And a step by step guide to flashing it coz i only used to S2 (my other phone.)
Just for info this is T-Mobile MB860, firmware 2.2.2. If there is anything such as locked this isn't coz i am using it in another country.
Regards,
Unlock your BL, root your phone, flash recovery, install Rom.

Hi there!
For starters, this is the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1136261
however, at this time there is a known issue with bell and other international phones only using about 380MB of RAM after flashing the unlock SBF. Devs are working on it, but no one can promise a quick fix.
Stock doesn't matter, I flashed from 2.1.1 without problems... except for the one above!
I have a Korean version of the Atrix flashed with greyblur. I want to flash Darkside ROM on here but to do that, I would need to unlock my bootloader. Seeing as my version is a little different from the options given by the automatic bootloader, I went ahead and checked if I could flash on of the firmwares found here. Problem is, I don't know which of these I should flash to get 1.83 to FINALLY unlock the bootloader. Can anyone point me to the right firmware? I would be eternally grateful...
anyone? please?
look http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1136261

Hi i was wondering if someone could help me out with unlocking my bootloader and rooting my Motorola Atrix T-Mobile UK (unlocked) 2.3.4 Gingerbread.
I have just bought this phone of my friend for £50.00 and would like to root it to install some cool looking roms on this site but the problem is i dont know where to start
I have tried unlocking the bootloader with the unlock_v4.2 zip but all i get is an error saying sec_exception: febe, 35, 35 ( is this happening because i need to root my phone first?)
Any help would be gratefully appreciated
You should check out this thread it has everything to get you started and running a custom rom. I would root, unlock bootloader, install recovery and install a custom rom.

Here is the site I used for unlocking and rooting mine.I'm on Bell and was running 2.3.4. It's meant for ATT/Bell and Int'l and pretty easy to follow.
