I've been searching to no avail for a replacement to the stock photo gallery. I'm unlocked and rooted running a stock rom based of _186. anyone find a replacement preferably the ics gallery for the photon?

I think the "best rom" is ur preference. Depending on what u r looking for, there are many roms in the forum that are great. But to ask for the best....the best is all of them as the devs put their best work out for the community. You need to read and flash until you find one your happy with, because my best will not be someone elses best.

Just a heads up. XDA app has been updated in the market and allows you to thank and zoom in on pics from the threads. I know tapatalk got updated a couple weeks ago. Looks like they finally updated xda

I for some reason cannot locate XDA anywhere on my phone. I mean its in the app drawer and in widgets to place on my homescreen. But since I updated its not in /data/app/, /system/app/, /data/app-private, its not even in menu-settings-applications-downloaded,all or even in the option to place on sd list. can some one check this out and let me know if im trippen or where its at? I've already read up and downloaded everything needed to root along with the latest leaked ICS.
I'm pretty excited now with aokp and cyanogenmod beginning to work on roms for us.
But what do you guys prefer, aokp or cyanogenmod? and why?
Aokp for sure. To me its basically cyanogenmod with many more tweeks.

Here's my home screen. And that's Motorola's ICS launcher by the way.
So I just noticed that my SGS2 just started to scroll the wallpaper. But I can't set it up in landscape. Right now the picture is chopped at both ends. Anyone know what happened? It wasn't able to do this before.

Just check the development forum. There are a few really good options there.
People from here don't like rom comparison.
But if you want JB, there are only a few options. Cm10,Aokp, semi, or the new Slim.
All great roms fully functional.
Remember, READ the entire OP before flash.
