Hi All
Starting today, Calendar has stopped sync, all items are gone,
When i try to force sync, i get FC whenever it gets to the calendar (Docs,Contacts & Gmail finishes successfully),
I'm using MIUI GB over DHD .
Has anyone experienced something like that ?!

I get an error when I try to sync my contacts with google sync. I had the problem on the original firmware, and it still persists after I rooted it (running rooted 024 atm). The error I get when I try to sync contacts are:
"The process android.process.acore as stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
Anyone have a solution for me?
Did you remove timescape? or Im guessing something else within the settings that ya really shouldnt have?!

I've not removed timescape, and as I stated this is a problem I had before I rooted the phone also.

does anyone have problem with their google sync after update to 2.1??? It seems like my google account doesnt sync with my x10....
Did you disable autosych? Looks like background data is not enough for gmail anymore. There is a new check in settings.
just found the solution on this...it is not x10 problem. It is android 2.1 issue.
So, what is the solution, then?
This is really strange.
My data does sync, but somehow I get a "synchronization problem" for both google contacts & for my FB account (via the official fb for android).

I have a weird problem in synchronizing.
Gmail and contacts work fine but calendar just keeps on working continuously without results until I stop it manually
I ve used Android sync to sync to my outlook.
Same problem except polar opposite.I need contacts and same issue. Its defo a sony ericsson issue I think im gonna baxk all tha data to sony sync then totally wipe flash it and see from there lol

Hi guys,
I'm a newbie on the Android and Samsung world (previously HTC and windows) and I have my SGSII for 2 months now, and it's a great phone but I'm having some annoying problems in some simple things on the daily use.
-Sometimes the phone reboots itself with no apparent problem.
-Have my exchange account working for email, but for the calendar events sometimes it doesn't sync.
-Can't sync my exchange contacts/calendar to google account after joining them in the contacts. In google contacts it doesn't show any contacts and I've tried everything!
-Facebook don't update contacts pictures on the phone automatically , we have to choose the picture one by one in each contact even after they've been merged!!!
-When in hands free or with Bluetooth handset can't switch back to mic sometimes when we need to.
I'm running stock KE2 and can't update to later versions, since my KIES don't show me the updates!
Any suggestions or fixes on how to resolve these problems?

Is anyone running a custom ROM and noticed that Facebook for HTC app always leaves the SYNC icon on?
When you go into ACCOUNTS & SYNC, it doesn't show that it's actually syncing anything, but at the same time, my phone won't go into DEEP SLEEP anymore.
I verified it with this app: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bvalosek.cpuspy&feature=search_result
Even if I disable syncing and leave the account there, it still shows the sync icon, even after a reboot.
However, if I remove the Facebook for HTC account, everything is back to normal again.
I heard that we can just install the Facebook app from the market but I like having it integrated into my contacts as well.

I'm still on the STEEL ROM because it has working battery % and have removed FB for HTC for now.

IDK if you are restoring the app or not, but my thoughts are this: go into settings/apps/manage/all and find the app, clear cache and data, reboot recovery wipe cache, reboot, re sign in to the app. ??? You can try without the recovery part, just clear the app stuff re sign, maybe that would work.
Is anyone having calendar sync issues? I didn't have any issues with the stock rom but then i tried CM7 (10/28 nightly) and Serendipity and my calendar refuses to sync. I'm wondering if its a problem devs are getting from each other or if its just a flat out Google issues as of 10/29
Nope, zero issues for me on Serendipity. Have your tried clearing the data out of the calendar and starting over?

Yea I gave that a shot. It appears that there isn't a syncing issue per say. I can make new appointments on my phone and they sync without a problem. I can also make new appointments from the web browser on my computer and they sync fine. The issue is appointments that already in my calendar do not sync. It looks like i will have to clear it and rebuild it.
