I had a ReZound and bricked it trying to fix the sd card due the RUU problem. I got my replacment today and I was wondering where can I find the new RUU so I wont experience any problems with the replacement.
[SIDE NOTE!] The rom i'm trying to run is Evita from Joelz..

You currently can't root 1.5 without using HTC's method. Revolutionary is supposedly working on it but its been along time and there doesn't seem to be that much of a rush since HTC released their method.

I just dont agree with HTCs method. I would rather have s-off so I can flash kernels through recovery.

Same here luda I'm still waiting for unrevoked to be updated it seems that alot of people are having problems with oficial htc unlock and you can't even install cm7 unless you rooted your phone with unrevoked so I guess we just have to wait maybe one month or two or three who knows

Yea but it sure is taking long though. I have sat in front of my pc ready to use HTC unlock but I just don't want to.

It is possible to flash CM7 with the HTC Unlock . You have to do it through fastboot . But I agree with everyone here Im not really liking the idea of using the HTC unlock . I to have found myself on HTC's website but just cant bring myself to trust them . I have been waiting patiently for Alpha/Unrevoked to work some magic . That or hope like hell something goes wrong with mine and I get another warranty claim and get 1.40 bootloader on the replacement LOL
How long have you guys been waiting?
Also I don't see no threads out there about alpha/rev working on hboot 1.50 so that ish is driving me crazy....

Is there a way to go back to 1.40.

Hello,
Well as the title says, i been having gps locking problems when i try to use Google maps.
I am currently running Venosaur rom 3.2.0 with the 5/7 leaked firmware.
Does anyone know a way to fix this or if it's related to the leak, rom, or just gMaps?
Thank You

Darn it, i have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Hmm... What if i swap in the gps.conf file from cleanrom, i wonder if that makes a difference, or is it another file? Hmm... Idk

Btw im back on cleanRom dev edition and gps is back. I probably just have bad luck with Venosaur rom.

Could be radio installation glitch.
Try HTC Re-Lock with fastboot, then name
the Android Police 3.14 zip "PH98IMG.zip"
and run it all the way thru twice.
Do a couple of factory re-sets after that, and your
radio issues ought be be cleared up.
Can someone with a back up of the their Telus stock rom please post it here or give me a pm with a db link I'd be greatly in their debt.

I tried a different number of methods to deliver the files to Steve but my cwm backup didn't work and simply copying /etc failed.
Unfortunately, I switched to a new, stock hox+ (doa) so I won't unlock it for awhile. Sorry guys.

I purchased a htc one x + EVARE_UL. Where can I download RUU rom for it?
Could someone please send me a nandroid backup of their telus stock? Or point me to a telus RUU? Thanks.
anyone still have a copy of stock telus or a link to the RUU? plz and thnxs
Hey just wanted everyone to know where they could find the stock RUU for the rezound. I've been searching for a week now and finally found a good link. This is not the global RUU. This is the one that use to be on android police but was taken down when htc started cracking down on everything. Hope this helps someone and hopefully the mods dont take this down but if they do sorry for posting.

I gave you that link in your other thread, if that's what you mean by you "finally found" it.
I read in a post in the Q&A that someone just downloaded the global RYUU from Android Police and I just clicked through to be sure before coming back to report here and at least one of the mirrors is working now. They seem to have re-allowed the downloads once it was made clear that HTC was just concerned about that one site that had their logo and name on it.
Well Damn. That's my mistake lol. I used the zip you have me but I never clicked the other link bc you said it was the global ruu and I already had that one. In any case thanks a lot just a misread on my part

Is this a stock root ruu? I'm looking for a stock root ROM to flash on the rezound for a friend.

It's not rooted but you can use the all in one toolkit to root is fairly simple I will try to find the link for you.

Since it's AT&T, I doubt there will be a flashable RUU. I tried the T-Mobile, no luck.
Quit posting there's no ruu. There is one. It's for an unreleased version. 12 vs. 10
