I just wanted to say hi now that i am a proud owner of an amaze 4g. I got the phone from ups 10 hours ago... i am already rooted and all that jazz. I am coming from the mytouch 4g where i dabbled in cooking but never released anything. agian just wanted to say hi and any tid bits of info on the amaze that you have wished you would have know when you got the device is more then welcome.
You picked up an Amaze at the best time possible. We recently got S-Off AND an ICS ROM leak

YEA I don't see that happing especially after the bootloader unlock. Maybe before it was unlocked people would have jumped on it, but your friends chances are definitely slim.
Didn't you gave the Rezound and switched to the Gnex when it released or did you keep it?

I hated mine when I had it, but I also didn't know what rooting was back then. Welcome to 'Shooter' side of things... Always good to have more devs around

The hero is still fairly productive especially for a phone that HTC and sprint gave up on long ago.

Hi Matt! I still have fond memories of my Hero. It was a great phone in it's day.
So I realized that it's not the phone Companies that sucks with updates for any phone.......it's TMobile that sucks....went to a version store and att store....all there phones have been updated....rezound has sense 3.5....nexus with ics......and some other things....even hardware wise......their products look much nicer then tmobile

Same as we are getting. I saw a link somewhere here that quoted HTC or tmo saying the remaining HTC phones that haven't been updated will get 3.6... :/

I give it 2-4 weeks tops after we get ICS before we get a working port of Sense 4, since it sounds like the only thing stopping devs are kernel shenanigans
and lets be real here, no phone company's perfect, look how long it took for the american version of the xperia X10 to get 2.1, 2.3 was already officially released for the international version by then!
But the rezound was released with Sense 3.5....

Its not about when the phone was released, its about when the phone was first being developed, IIRC the amaze started development when sense 3.0 was just starting while the rezound started back when 3.5 was the next big thing

When did he withdraw it? Last time he said he'll update when ARHD is updated, it's mike you gotta ask to update.
I don't personally think we should... I mean he removed it basically saying that the amaze communiy doesnt deserve it. So instead of a petition, why don't we earn it back.
