Stream Music - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know that you can stream music to a car or a bluetooth device such as headphones or computer, but can you stream music from one android phone to another android phone? I'm not talking about sending a file via bluetooth to another android, then playing it.
Scenario: Pair the two devices and play music from one android so the other person can hear what your playing on their own phone.
Thanks

as many as you can pair up
you can for example stream to your car audio
meanwhile you have a Bluetooth watch, and a bluetooth headset
so when a calls comes in you can pick it up with the headset instead of car speaker, and vice versa
you can also make a phone from the caller ID wrist watch, and accept or deny a call
you can play remote control cars/boats/planes if you can pair with it
also you can use those wii like BT controllers
and also stream to stereo BT headsets
you can pair several phones together to transfer files and phone books
etc
the possibilities are endless

[Q] Bluetooth headphones with Prime and Phone at same time

I've read that some newer bluetooth headphones can be paired with two devices at once. I'm curious if the following scenarios are possible:
1) While listening to music on my Prime with the headphones, a call on my phone will ring through on the headphones. I can then use the headphone controls to answer or drop the call, after which the music on my Prime will continue.
2) While listening to music on my phone, I can start a Youtube video on my Prime, which pauses my phone's music and begins the Youtube audio on the headphones. Once finished the music on my phones resumes.
Is anyone using their bluetooth headset with both their phone and Prime?
Yes you can it os possible

What your looking for is commonly called MULTIPOINT. Most higher or even mid end bluetooth headsets will let you connect to two or more devices at the same time. Consider if you are paying more than, say, $50 for a half decent headset it SHOULD have it. If it doesnt have at least multipoint 2 i wouldnt get it.
To stream music you are looking for A2DP or AVRCP.
A2DP is your basic music streaming. Much higher quality than your standard voice protocols, keps the music from sounding too tinny.
AVRCP is more fancy, my car stereo has this where i can use media buttons (forward, back, pause, etc.) to control the music. Depending on the device it may also display track information.
Now that we got the hardware side down, lets move on to your scenerios.
You can have media connected to ONE device and voice connected to ONE device for most quality bluetooth headsets. You can play music and if you get a call it will PAUSE the music to notify of the incoming call. Easy.
The second scenario is a bit more complicated. You can only stream music from ONE device at a time. If i have my bluetooth connected to my phone and my computer at the same time for audio i can play movies from my computer to the headset then play audio from my phone to the headset but if i have ANY audio coming from the computer the headset wont accept music from the phone. In most cases i find it easier to turn off bluetooth on my laptop when i want to hear music from my phone, or at least turn off all media players and wait ~30 seconds before switching devices.
In all, yes it can be done, much how others have said, but now hopefully you know what to look for. I remember how difficult it was for me jumping into this blind, maybe my information can help you buy the right hardware. Good luck!

Through research I believe the Samsung HS3000 is a good option. It has a new bluetooth music codec called Apt-X which is supposed to be higher quality than A2DP if both the headset and phone/tablet support it.
If I go that route I'll try to upgrade my phone to a Samsung SIII or HTC One X which both support Apt-X. The Transformer Prime unfortunately does not, but I'll only use it to watch quick internet videos while browsing in this case.
for primairy use of listening to music / movies, that should be decent. The mic placement makes me think that it would not be as good for calls as a headset you wear on your ear but it depends how often you use it.
Never heard of Apt-X, will have to research it probably part of bluetooth 3.0, different frequency, more bandwidth. should be interesting!

[Q] Help: Bluetooth media stopped streaming, coming through phone speaker

Just recently, my S4 decided to stop streaming music/media through my sony BT deck even though its connected via media audio
In fact, I can pause and skip songs using the deck, but it still plays through the phone speaker! when i enable/disable media, it pauses like its going to connect but it doesnt.
Ive tried: reboots, repairings, uninstalled google play music updates (seemed to happen when i updated the new music app)
Im about to go plug in earbuds and see if it debugs it.
update: plugged in headphones and music still coming through phone speaker! anyone familiar with this kind of bug. im pretty stumped

I've searched and seen similar setups, it seems like it doesn't support, if it was supporting I don't think somebody would attach a headset to sound system.
It is something implemented in low level, in order to add such capacity you might need to find a rom which is capable or need to develop one. I asked because, it's the easiest way. In general your phone and tablet is acting as a driver/server for an headset. If a headset is connected, they cut their sound output on speaker or headphones and channels through headset. If there was a such a profile it would be extremely easy, if not it's as I said something in low level.
There are some streaming applications which you install a server to one device and a client to another. The applications are not transferring media played, but some sort of data that can be played in clients' integrated player, through implemented compression algorithm. There is SoundCloud synchronizer, but I couldn't find a Spotify version. It is also something hard to do if Spotify doesn't help.
Since, Spotify support WiFi speaker, you can try to find a way to turn your tablet into WiFi speaker. But, the applications I found requires a server installed on a PC, so it can be assumed that they don't actually mimic the protocol of WiFi speakers clients, still worth to try.
Another solution is implementing a virtual device as sound output in your phone, which will transfer the something supposed to be sound in desired protocol that can be played on the tablet.

Android TV sound streaming to other mobiles

Can I stream Android TV sound to other Android mobile phones?
The idea is to wirelessly listen TV audio via different mobile phones via headphones.
My TV has WiFi only, so how to stream audio via WiFi.
Tried couple of apps but they either record audio from mic or play MP3 or video but not sending TV audio.
