Dude, justtttt try not to leave spaces in the backup name. Replace the spaces with underscores

When I tried to restore backup named "cm 7" , it gave me md5 mismatch. But when I renamed it to "cm_7" it was successful

Recovery used to make the backup should be the same s the on you're using to restore. I think thats how it works. CWM5Backup is compatible with cwm5 and cwm4 is compatible with cwm4. I'm not surte if CWM4 backups are working wth cwm5.

hey i flashed clockwork mod recovery 4 then i rebooted my phone and then power it off and trying to boot into recovery but it gets stuck on samsung logo.....
same is happening if i turn on my phone....

So try the steps in the following link...
DDQ6 for Galaxy Ace
Was it CWM4 or ROM manager?
ROM manager is a big no no for the Ace. Too be safe CWM4 needs to be a special mod for the Ace too.
Using ODIN you'll be flashing an entire ROM, imo you may as well go custom. I think TheMythICS ROM is the best!

Okay. You went wrong with flashing CWM4 over Froyo. You need to use ODIN to flash CWM3 to get back.

But you may as well update to Gingerbread while you'are there... takes just over 5 min. Have a look at some of the custom ROM's in the development section...

Then you can skip CWM3 because you'll get 4 or 5 with most ROMs.

It doesn't replace the nandroid, it creates a new one. If you want to delete them for space later you can, but the recovery will not automatically overwrite it.
Like they already said, you can do as any as you want. I currently have 4. One rooted stock rom, one Cyanogenmod 7.2 one Cyanogenmod 9 and an early Cm9 beta 4

You actually need to be careful with this. On my device, if you don't rename them using a certain format (no spaces, etc) then they won't restore.
Assuming that you're using CWM (I don't), it should be somewhere in the ClockworkMod folder.

Don't forget to check if you have space enough for your backups. And remember what hboot you were using on all the different backups. I had a few problems with so many backups. Hehe

well by hboot, i think he refers to the change in /system partition(but thats for htc phones like desire, so u dont have to worry abt that)

I think the error refers to rfs format in the system partition.
Could that be the ics ROM is in ext4 format?
cuz I checked its Backup folder and there was a file something like ext4-data. Otherwise, in the GB backup there is rfs-data.

I successfully installed Miracle V4, and it is working greatly. But I tried to install S Voice from this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662663) tutorial. It is getting a message: "There is problem parsing the package. Whats happening?

There is no mms.apk in the rom. You need to maunally push it. All the system apps apk are provided by the developer also

Go use lucky patcher to patch it brov........Remove tha titanium backup installed, reinstall, launch lucky patcher, Hold & click on titanium backup, den select custom patch... enjoy!!!
