I have a Samsung Galaxy s 4g and it is a T959W. I flashed it with T959V as from what I read that was compatible. Now when I reboot my cell it automatically opens in recovery mode. No matter what I do, flash another rom, try to flash back to original, soon as the phone reboots it opens into recovery mode every time. Is there a way of getting it to bypass recovery or is this some form of brick? Please help, my phone is only a week old!!!
Thanks for any help I get
What did you flash it with? Just saying 959V doesn't give much information.
Hi all, ok, I have GT-I9100P it was running 2.6.35.7- I9100P-BVKI3- CL608158 [email protected]#2
I was going to to be rooting the phone, so I could unlock....after connecting to kies, I got " there is a firmware upgrade" available, so, I went for it...that's where it went wrong, the update hung at 3%.....did nothing, then I had to goto emergency recovery, it then hung at 8%....I have also tried to use odin,( all kies turned offf) thought I had gotten what I needed, but that only gets so far & fails....so I am now stuck with a broken phone & really need some help to get it running again, any ideas guys???
thanks in advance
Can you just explain the real problem with the phone?
Can you still recovery mode? Can you still enter download mode?
What do you mean by Odin fails?
hey im trying to help out someone that paid me to fix their phone. I usually always am able to fix soft bricks but this note is pretty stubborn. Only will go into download mode. I flashed at&t stock rom and it froze on turning on apps I guess and now it's back to only going into download mode. there is no recovery. If anyone can help it'd be appreciated.
Have you tried an emergency firmware recovery using kies?
Screw kies
Use Odin
Hey guys
Today i was trying to downgrade my s2 from 4.1.2 to 2.3.6 by Odin 1.85 program.
In the middle of the process i plugged off the phone accidentally.
So after that i turned off the phone and tried to power it on back but the phone did't boot anything even the os or the recovery or download mode, I got only a black screen.
And the tutorial i was following http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ModCPTUbIjA
So i hope if can anyone help me.
I would be very thankful
Service centre. Or if you want to try a jig, try one (very unlikely to work though).
Hello,
I have a big problem, i'm fairly experienced with phone and technology and have done my fair share of phone fixing and flashing ROMs on phones. Now today my moms old galaxy phone broke (GT-I8262), the phone couldn't boot into android, i tried to wipe cache didn't work, did a factory reset that also didn't work, So i went to the samsung site and download the stock rom, odin and all the tools i need, installed drivers. I started the flashing process when suddenly the phone lost connection to the PC, ofc i know that this is really bad and thought i could reset the process and flash the ROM (I was wrong).
Now im stuck with the phone not being able to be recognized by my PC whenever i plug it in, When i try to boot into recovery mode i get the message (firmware upgrade encountered an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again), I cannot use kies or odin to flash the Phone cuz windows will just not recognize it, i need help since my mom does not have the money or wants to buy a new phone.
Thanks to everyone in advance.
