DJ_Steve's ROM required flashing new amss.mbn files and dsp1.mbn files. If I want to go to the official 407 ROM, do I need to find corrected amss.mbn and dsp1.mbn files?
If so, which generation of amss and dsp1 files do I need to get?

PS: Yes, I have searched, and I am not finding answers specifically about the amss and dsp1 files as they related to GingerStreak 2.4.4

Does that mean the amss and dsp1 files are included? Or that the ones I flashed for DJ_Steve will also work? Are they the same files, even?
They're included in the stock .pkg file.

I am starting this new thread because I can't find anything that helps in all the other threads.
Right now I am on Streakdroid 1.8.1 and I want to change to the stock Froyo 2.2. This because my own language (Dutch) is in it.
But I have tried all the threads, bibles and other explanations, and I always end in a black screen after trying to install the update.pkg. It seems like either I've got the wrong stock recovery version or a wrong update.pkg (it's the official 318).
Can you guys help me out?
I did the same (1.8.0 to 318) using official recovery from 309 and official 318 pkg.
You have to install official recovery with fastboot.

I did this via QDL then updated to latest.

I wanted to see if there was a option to put the OTA update back on the TNTlite 4.40.

Maybe you can give me a few tips as this is your Solid Rom. Is there anyway to place the OTA update back on the TNTlite.

there is a thread in the developers section with recovery roms. you can find the rom image download link there. you need to create the recovery directory and put the command file in it. you can find instrucitons for that in the main discussion forum as a sticky post

I have been having trouble with my streak due to a bad signal.
It seems as if the radio.img is somewhat messed up. I've tried a different baseband (Currently on 351), and different ROMs (Now running Streakdroid 1.9.0), but still no luck. By chance, does anybody have the radio.img for the streak, or know where I can download a copy of one?

I love my dell streak 5...unlocked for tmo,,,,
ive tried a few roms (mostly dj steves) and now i have the flashing lights and some forcecloses.
I see the forums that i need to flash a new amss for the lights to start flashing.im not a noobie but to the whole fastboot roceedure im kinda lost.my question is "flasboot for dummies" can anyone walk me through the "whole" proceedure to flashboot a new baseband on my streak plzzzz??...im running bb...gausb1a135331-us,,,power rom,,,any help is appreciated...im not a super computer guy,novice at best,,thanx
