Hi, in ICS you can disable system app going to Settings->Applications->All-> and clicking on a system app like "Music Hub", where in other apps appear "unninstall" here will appear Disable (Sorry if it is not the exact word, I'm using a Spanish version).
So I disable stock gallery, and now I want to active again, but I don't know how.
Anyone can helpme? Thanks
I see where. Only need to scroll bottom in the same list than can disable apps. There are all the disabled apps.

Hi,
New feature of ICS, "Recent Apps with thumbnails" is a privacy concern for me. As it shows my personal text messages in the thumbnail to people whom i handover my device. I have already locked message application but still ICS is able to capture a screenshot of it and displays it in Recent App history. Is there a way to bypass an application from Recent apps history?
May be you can delete them...
If your question is to remove the item from the recent list...
Yes you can do that by swiping it to left or right...
And if you want it to not show up permanently then i am not sure of it...

Hi,
How is it possible to remove the wifi/bt/gps/sound/rotate toolbar from the notification area ?
I have included a screenshot of this toolbar. My Galaxy S2 is rooted.
I do not use use this toolbar, so I would like to remove it. It takes too much space, especially when you are in landscape mode.

Has someone already tried to freeze TwLauncher and TwWallpaperChooser using Titanium, to disable Touchwiz ?
Hi, i've just installed .vxp apps on my smartwatch, but their icons aren't visible on the homepage, so i go to options > shorcuts manager, and the apps appear but when i click them (the only thing i can do) it says that i cant activate the shortcut because ive reached the maximum limit... the problem is, i can't disable shortcuts that are actually visible (same text and no more options) ! so, if anyone know how to do it or at least how to launch my apps, i will be happy to ear that ^^
(Sorry for the English, i'm french)

Dear Community,
I have an issue with my Redmi Note 9 Pro Global Joyeuse with FW QJZMIXM 12.0.1 stable: I use an App named "Orientation Control" which overlays apps to force the screen orientation per my needs ( landscape or portraint or whatever ). Overlay is the method to do so, so its the app's scope to do exactly this. The Android System now generates a permanent Message / Notification saying: "App Orientation Control is overlaying other apps. " Unfortunately there is currently no way to disable this message in the Android System settings, the option is unavailable respectively not clickable.
Does anybody know another method / way to disable this message? Maybe ADB / modification of a file or anything else?
Device: Unrooted, Stock FW
Thx fir any feedback
You may be able to disable the notification from system settings.
Should be able to find, and disable, the notification from Settings->apps->manage apps
Look for "Android System" in the app list and check the notification settings for the one you want to disable.
If you don't see "Android System" in the app list then you need to enable the show all apps option from the 3dot menu in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Hi sir_bazz, thx for your reply, but as already said, this is not possible to deactivate the notification via the "Android System" app settings.

Do you see a list of all the different notification channels at the bottom of that page?
You should also see the active system notifications, like this one.
yes i do see this, and it is not possible to disable. Already tried all these settings. My screenshot is from the active notification of the app Orientation Control. And this butten cannot be deactivated. This is the reason why i asked for another option such as an ADB command which e.g. allows disabling the neotification or setting the timer to a greater value than only 2 hours.
Hi I upgraded to to android 12 and I get so many of these notifications. I either want to disable all these notification or disable this permission for all these apps so the notifications don't show up. I don't want to do this for every app one by one. Please let me know what to do! Thanks!
Anyone? If I disable the app package list permission, the notification of "failed to retrieve app list" pops up. So I need to disable the notification of this type entirely. But this option is greyed out in settings. Is there some magical way to disable this?
same situation, quite annoying!
