How hard would it be to strip/build an ABSOLUTE android stock rom? All I want evo is the 3d gallery app and the rest nexus s LOL im done w sense for awhile

THIS IS NOT REALLY HONEYCOMB.
This is the Chomper Android ipk with a HONEYCOMB LAUNCHER.

I am in the process of building a system.img file that CLOSELY RESEMBLES Honeycomb. The intention of the video was to excite people and let them see what is possible. For those of you who said that this is NOT Honeycomb, you were correct. Congratulations. For those of you who got violent, get help.

This isn't honeycomb, judging from the lock screen, the menus, and the small gap between the bottom bar and the bottom.
Still, it IS android, most likely the Chomper version, and pretty cool.

don't mislead people, this is not honeycomb... a fact before anything else.
This is just the android ipk launcher (Screen tears happen on that) with a launcher...probably go launcher by the looks of things.

Guys this is the honeycomb launcher made by IntelSoft Apps.....not a honeycomb build. It looks exactly the same on any phone or tablet. Thats why colors are off, and the gap between the bottom and status bar. Notice that if you click on an app inside of it, the status bar is no longer there. Dont believe me, then try it out for yourself.

It's cool, man. I'll explain.
I have been making a Mod of Chomper's Android ipk that is much larger img file, and has gapps, and uses a Honeycomb Launcher to give it a more "tablety" feel to it. As a teaser, I posted a very obvious troll vid that shows what appeared to be REAL Honeycomb on the Touchpad. Most people realized that it wasn't true, others thought it was a joke, and some people mailed me severed heads and shot my dog. Either way, I have EXPOSED the truth now, and everyone can rest easy knowing that I am working on something legitimate and not just an ass.
Well, I'm still an ass, but I have something worthwhile to contribute too!
I know they are hard to come by, even on Zedge and other wallpaper apps and sites. I have put together a collection of a couple hundred with more coming all the time. These really show of the 720p screen.

Nice collection.! I'm using the lighting bolt picture . One question I have is the rezound doesn't use the whole pic because of the carousel and non scrolling . Does this make the picture density less pixel wise? Looks nice either way, thanks.

I've been a faithful user of adw and go launcher since the original Evo. I've been using ss launder the last week and it Really is a great launcher and it's free. Updated twice also. Give it A try it's different and cool imo

SS Launcher is pretty cool. There are a lot of things I like about it but overall it still feels a little bit clumsy to configure. Scrolling through contacts is crazy laggy too and not an issue on Sense or any other launcher I have tried.

gave it a shot... it's different and slick, just not my flavor. good lookin, though. i am a fan of launchers because they give you that customization aspect we all love in android.

Sprintuser can be a douche sometimes but this is actually a good post. It can be used on the many AOSP roms we have for the 3D. He's been pretty cool lately, as a matter of fact

It is really nice but a bit laggy for me in the app screen. Looks to copy maybe windows phone 7 in a way I guess.
Just thought I'd share this bit of info. Not sure if this is a widely known hidden menu..
Open the Browser, type in about:debug in the Browser tab.
Now hit Menu > More and Scroll down. It will show hidden settings.
Go to UAString and change it to Desktop ..
As for all the other settings...I'm not to sure what they do...haha
If this is already a known menu then color me embarrassed for not knowing these options for 3years..lol

Most of the time when you load a web page it will load the mobile version first. If you change it to Desktop it will load the desktop version first. Picking the others will load a iPhone version or froyo version..etc ... Test it and see which you like. I haven't tested the others..I like desktop

Just changes the way your browser looks. Most of them are mobile versions though. I used to use about debug to enable smooth rotate on my browser. But with new devices its already added. So no need anymore.

Thanks for the info, it is new to me, I appreciated it.
