Sorry for the stupid questions but I'm new here and I don't have an idea what I'm doing I installed KA16 with Night-elf kernel but I read somewhere that the Zram on the kernel should not be enabled becase it may cause lag.. So how do I see if it's enabled or not The other thing I want to ask is how do I install this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599499 There is not a flash package or I'm blind and I can't see it So what should I flash with flashtool then?

EXTREMELY nice of you to ask the question in the Q&A section, but sadly i don't think the ones that could help you look here much, so go to rom's thread in development section and ash over there.
i can't remember exactly but it had do something with changing either init.d or build.prop....if no one answers you could go to zeubea's ICS thread and you'll probably find the answer in the first few pages, because he too overclocked the stock rom, and we asked him to provide it @600mhz, and sure enough he did.
thanks for the reply farukb but for the fantastic rule of the forum i have <10 post and i can't ask in proper threadif someone else wants to help me ..
Hi everyone,
i need your help to fix my problem with jelly vanilla rom 6.1 of iiandskater.
I use Mesa kernel 4.1 and sometimes get freeze problem in Setting/App, i can't touch anything in about 3 minutes, and then it's back to default.
I try other roms and don't see that problem. I like Jelly Vanilla so much, so who can help me fix this?
Thank you so much!
P/S: sorry for my bad English

But he is allowed to ask, too. Just because he doesn't have the ten points mark doesn't mean he can't ask
Did you try to flash another kernel? Not MESA but another one? Or try to reflash the rom.zip without wipe data/factory reset

Hi I know your issue since I faced it.The kernel you are using is bad for this rom.
Use FXP/CM9.1/CM10 Extended kernel for Xperia Mini Pro
This is found in the kernel section.Just see your device and download the latest one.
Then use flash tool to flash it after when you boot into jelly vanilla rom 6.1 make a factory data reset with also erasing mmc
It will solve your problem:good:

your model is wt19i so its Live with Walkman™ phone with code-name-- (coconut)
I don't know but I don't think its advisable then search for any kernel cm10 based apart from mesa, try LuPuS-jB [LINARO 4.7][CM10 BASED],but this one had wi if issues for my mini pro.Give it a shot
looks like you already tried it then??
PS i thought your one was mini pro as well

To reflash the rom, just download the latest cm10.zip for your phone (if it's a live with walkman, wt19i then download the one for coconut) and the gapps (google apps) for android 4.1.2. Now put the two files on your sdcard and reboot in cwm or TWRP recovery. Then you just wipe cache (no data will be lost) and flash the cm10.zip and afterwards the gapps. Reboot and see if the lag still exists
If it still exists you have to change the kernel, or you try another version of MESA
Hello! as thread says i want to O.C my GS2 with CM 10.1 and Kernel CM 10.1
i press 10 times build number, i open Performance TAB but i cant change the values... is there any other way to use O.C ?
I Was overclocking with Stock ROM with TegraK App.. i believe this app was SUPERB.... can i use it again with CM ? I have to change Kernel ? if yes WHAT kernel is the best ? and if i have to change kernel how i flash it ? with Odin or from Recovery ?
Are you going for the record of how many rules you can disregard in your first post?

He meant that the answers to all of your questions are quite obvious. Search the CM-thread, and do some reading about the kernels and their capabilities.
The #1 XDA-rule is 'Search before posting', and the first sticky on the Q&A-section clearly states that you must not ask for 'best kernels' and stuff. Time for you to do some research
Like the title says: there's a custom kernel for CM11?
Obviously for Sola.
Why you post this on development section, @Vestar ?
You should post it on Q&A section, not here!
Request to close thread!
Btw, CM11 is using custom kernel (I mean, boot.img on the zip is custom kernel).
No need to ask it.

Ok, thanks for the answer and sorry for my mistake.
I saw a thread similar to mine here somewhere and i thought i could open a topic here.
Sorry guys.
PS: However i noticed that CM11 already has a custom kernel, but it doesn't seem to support overclock.
There's a way to overclock Sola with that kernel?

Hmm, CM11 developers didn't add overclock support to our kernel.
Maybe you can ask to add it on CM11 Thread
Thanks for the suggestion!
I will try, hoping for the best.
We won't overclock kernel of CM11 until overclock is 100% stable, and nowadays it isn't
Mnm, well, that's a pity.
However thanks for the answer.
Hope shortly something moves on this front.

Its a shame because its not stable ??
Come on man !
Build then a kernel by your own ^^
Send from my XZ With My Own Personal Modified MoonWalker SuperB !

I'm only saying that i hope that a stable version will be released, sooner or later.
I don't get your disappointment.
EDIT: Ok, i understood now where the problem is.
I wrote the wrong word. I wanted to say pity, not shame.
I'm not a native english speaker, so, sometimes, i make this kind of mistakes. Sorry for that.
