Currently dualbooting MIUI and the stock rom, and was wondering whether or not there is a way to make the Mini Diary app to work on MIUI. I've tried downloading the APK from a thread here and installing, but it says "can't install". I also tried to put the apk on the system/apps folder, but it doesn't show on the launcher. Sooo... Any help or is this a lost project?
*edit* Both the stock rom and miui are 4.0
Tried to restore the app with titanium backup, but no luck. (I think I did it wrong anyhow) Anyone who know of another way?

Ive just flashed to CM7 and i've just noticed something. It doesn't have the android market on it and because of that how can i restore all my apps and stuff?
i used titanium backup pro when i had darky's rom installed.

I was wondering if there is a way of getting the native mms.apk from stock 2.3.3 ROM to a CM 7.2 ROM? I tried copying the mms.apk from a stock ROM to system/app folder in phone, but it isnt`t working.

Ok, as I didn't got any answers on last post about arc v2 launcher on MM's CM7, I decided to ask again, so here it is: I got MM's CM 7.2 rom on my x10 and I want to know is it possible and how to install one of these homescreens on that rom, beacuse when I try to install it it just says "application not installed" and it can't be installed, I even tried to replace this with one in system folder and fixing perms, still don't work, every else is working if it's not sony ericsson, and if it can't be installed, can any1 make it for that rom beacuse I don't really understand making homecreens or any other apk's, to be more precise, I want this one
Hi, can you give me a guide to port a launcher from a phone to another? For example, I would like to port SGS3 launcher (i know someone's already done this, but I want to try by myself) or Galaxy Tab 2 or Sense launcher.
As far as i know..and i dont know this very far =)
its not the problem of porting because the app will scale itselfe to the needed settings nevertheless its the problem of system apps
u might have a try to just take the sgs3 apk and try to install it on another phone and it will state app not installed or something else cus its defined as a system app
so always have this in mind while doing such things
i mean if ive got an *.exe file from a windows7 pc by dell and i want to install it on one by lenovo it shouldnt be a problem and this should be they way it works on android tooo (as far as i know )
