i suppose you must give more info about network and other stuff. i heve no issues at all. Cosmote greece. hsdpa, 3g, gprs all work
i see you are both from Hungary. i suppose same network. there is your culprit. check it with your provider cause i do not believe that is Tango or Full unlock related.

Work perfectly
yeah....every thing works perfect..but i encountered few bugs after installing some home brew apps like lock widgets,etc....try a hard reset and see if evrythng works right....if it works flawless then an app is causing the problem..

Its my understanding that its part of the network setup.. most networks can setup automatically.
Ive got an Optus sim and a Telstra sim i have switched and it works perfectly on both after the network autosetup.
Doesn't seem to be the case with Vodafone. It's quite frustrating!
I am having the same problem. Using another networks SIM in a PAYG version. Would very much like MMS working
hmmm well sorry to hear your experience has been average..
I put my Telstra Sim in.. turn it on .. 3rd message sent was a MMS to test it.. and POP it worked perfectly.
If you have to setup a phones mms settings in a phone in this day and age, then its not a good phone or network..
It should be automatic and part of any network detection setup.
Ive also tried my partners Optus sim and its autoconfig'd perfectly. And whilst not as fast in network speeds did everything.

Hey,
I'm trying to access the internet using the mobile data and so on but it seems I can't get it working. I've tried adding an APN which I used on my Android device but that fails also, anyone got any ideas?
Ps. I'm new to WP7
Grab "Connection Setup" off Marketplace, that alloed me to get my Voda APN settings even though i have an Orange branded Mozart.

Thanks,
I've seem to of able to get myself the internet connection via mobile data when off WiFi. Is there a way for MMS to work as well or?
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but as i said before, the connection setup program sorted my APN and MMS settings perfectly...

When I run the connection setup and select the one that I'm on and so on, the internet doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure If I'm suppose to do anything after that or wait? But when I add a manual APN in for the net it then starts working.
MMS = Just tells me it can't send.
Not quite sure why but I can't seem to be able to use the internet or the official twitter application when trying to connect via mobile data. The twitter application tells me an error as occurred and the web pages don;t even load.
I unlocked this as it was locked to Orange so I could use on the O2 network, I've tried using the HTC application and that doesn't seem to change anything or fix the problem.
Under the APN I have the following:
APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username: payandgo
Password: password
Data Connection: On
3G Connection: On
I cant get work MMS and Internet at the same time in ICS.
My provider is Claro Puerto Rico and my APN work in any ginger roms, but not work in ICS.
I use 2 APNs one for MMS and other for internet.
If i delete the internet apn i get work the MMs and if i delete the MMS apn i get work the internet.
Help me please!!!!

I've only ever seen 1 apn work at a time, not 2. Just select the internet apn and the mms one will work without you having to select it.

on wi-fi you cannot send mms. i do not know if it has to do with the company you are with or the country. i am with T-mobile uk and none of my mobile phones can do that... O2 as well. It is logical if you think about it.

Which firmware are you on? From my experience, anything later than LPQ will switch to a mobile data connection just to send the MMS without interrupting your wifi. Try the newest XWLP7 it works just fine. I'm on wifi and I can definitely send mms without any issues.
Hey Guys
So I have a few issues / questions about the Lumia 920...
I have picked one up on Orange which shows up as EE, I figure they have took over T mobile and Orange so that's fine until it comes to trying to figure out what APN settings should be puttinig into the phone to get MMS working. Orange, EE, T - Mobile ????
So I can send an MMS but on the receiving phone its shows up as a black picture ? has anyone else had this ?
Also the tethering option only seems to work when the phone is connected to my home wifi, any ideas ? I have a decent signal so it should work fine off that without issue..
is this all just down to the Internet and MMS APN settings as there are none in the phone, the internet does work on the phone fine with only the signal.
Try settings/access point and see if anything there for EE.

Hello my friends. Yesterday I bought this phone and I want your help for solving the first problem. I cannot connect on mobile network. Turning on and disconnected. And the problem is not by sim's company. Help? Thank you.

Check in Settings/Mobile network if you have Access Point Names configured. If not try to factory reset your phone and do the setup from the beginning. If the problem occurs you'll need to configure them manually.

I have configured Access Point Names manually, by the instructions which I received from my mobile internet company. But the problem remains. Turning on... Disconnected. So?
Sent from my HTC Desire X using xda app-developers app
Probably because of that APNs, try to configiure them again and if it persists go there and let them configure it. If they can't fix it then it's a problem with phone.
I use these instructions (look in English): http://www.wind.com.gr/files/1/Device_Settings/Rythmiseis Internet/Android OS _Terminals_.pdf
So:
Name: WIND Internet
APN: gint.b-online.gr
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: Not set
MMS Proxy: Not set
MMS Port: Not set
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 202
MNC: 10
Authentication type: Not set
APN enable/disable: APN enabled (I cannot change it).
After that, I press menu and save. Now I am in APNs and I can see a white part:
WIND Internet
gint.b-online.gr
I press the button to go back and I can see:
Data roaming: Without ν
Data roaming sound: With v
Access Point Names
Network mode: GSM / WCDMA auto
Network operators: WIND GR
I press the button to go back and I see: Mobile network: Off. I press the button off, it becomes on, and down of Mobile network I can see Turning on... For many many minutes I can see only turning on.... So, I let the screen turn off without light and after that, when I open screen and I unlock the device, I see: Disconnected...
Tomorrow I will visit my mobile internet company's office, but I am wondering: Can traffic monitor apps which were installed before the problem of mobile network create this problem? I mean something like nodata in windows mobile.... I installed these applications: 1) My Data Manager, 2) Onava, 3) Traffic Monitor.

its not a software problem you can contact your service provider for this about your loss of HSDPA connection as networks are controlled by them or what you can do is goto settings mobile network advanced selected fastest network available which should fix the issue if its not the sim 's problem and one more thing wrong forum

I've bought M8 at end of Now. Mobile network connects for about 1 min, disconnects about 1 min, again connects again disconnects again and again. Contacted HTC, hard reset etc but same.
Sent to teleservice in Turkey, they 've sent me a new m8 but the same problem. I again sent back the service and explained the history, they say m8 passed all tests (!). Before that I'd contacted the nr one operator Turkcell, no problem. I tried the m8 with another carrier but it worked continuously. So I changed the carrier but i am not happy with them. Lollipop 5 is installed, same! Anyone solved this problem ?
