Also, this contains warez apps. I'd suggest you don't post a link to download this...
You ripped off another rom and claimed it as your own? Shame..LEARN TO COMPILE YOUR OWN SOURCES AND DEV CORRECTLY. We (at xda) will NEVER support thieves and pirates.
edit:thread has been reported to moderator.
Thread closed until the following occurs
1) Removal of Paid apps from Rom. That includes Rom Manager Premium, Sygic Navigator, S-Banking, SetCpu,
ROM developers: Please do not include SetCPU in your ROM. I appreciate the work you're doing, but link to this thread instead, and I'd really appreciate it if you mention that SetCPU is available on the Android Market.

Click to collapse
and any other apps that are Paid, or the developer does not want included in a rom.
2) Explicit Permission from the developers of ICS++ stating that their rom can be used as a base.
Once the above are met,
3) Working Download links.
As long as all three are not met, then this thread will remain closed.

I have put down the simplest (can you say simplest?) instructions for installing Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread on the Xperia X10.
Some may say that dummies should not use Alpha ROMs, however, in this particular case I would disagree. I have been testing this ROM for 3-4 days now and I find that it is ready for daily use if you can give up features such as camera, GPS, and some other stuff.
This ROM is made by Jerpelea, all creds to him. Donate and buy him a beer (or orange juice depending on what he prefers).
Use these instruction with precaution. With this said, if any problems occur and your phone is in any kind of way damaged, I will not be held responsible.
For more info and updates on ROM read the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911364
According to Jerpelea, you shall install it in this order.
MULTITOUCH INSTALLATION ON (ANY?) 2.x ROM
1. Download MT ENABLER by Bin4ry.
2. Create a folder called "MT Enabler" and move the file that you just downloaded (MT_enabler.rar) into it.
3. Extract the file (MT_enabler.rar) with Winrar or Winzip.
4. Now you will have 2 important files and they're both called "X10flash". One installs the Multitouch via cmd and the other one via X10Flashtool. Double click ONE of them If you choose the one that installs via flashtool you will have to press the button "Flash" that is shown in the program
5. Follow the instructions given and if you are asked to "connect Xperia in flash mode" do so by:
5.1 Turn X10 off
5.2 Disconnect from computer
5.3 Hold down BACK button WHILE inserting the USB cable (be sure that the other end is connected to your computer)
5.4 When the LED LIGHT TURNS GREEN, your X10 is in "flash mode"
6. When it is done remove the USB cable and reboot your X10.
7. Enable Unknown Sources (1) and USB debugging (2)
(1) MENU button -> Preferences -> Applications
(2) MENU button -> Preferences -> Applications -> Development
8. Houston, we have multitouch!
OBSERVE! If you do not have multitouch in your browser or in Google Maps please follow THIS simple guide to enable it! However, I believe you will have it enabled in every app
ROM INSTALLATION
1. If you haven't put in xRecovery in your X10 do so by following the instructions listed here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859571&highlight=xrecovery
(read the requirements as well)
2. Download the ROM from here: http://hotfile.com/dl/99887488/c3452ec/gb_beta_0008.rar.html
3. Extract the file (with winrar or winzip) and you will have a folder called "gb_alpha_0008".
4. Inside this folder you will have three folders, of which two are .Zip files. Copy the one called "gapps-hdpi-20101226" and "signed_008" to your phone. Don't copy them to a specific folder, just to the main folder also called the root folder of your SD card. (Of course, to do this you will have to connect your X10 to your computer and mount the SD card).
3. Now unmount your SD card, reboot your phone and enter xRecovery by pressing the BACK button repeatedly when the white "Sony Ericsson" text comes up during the boot up.
4. Inside xRecovery you can navigate up and down by pressing the VOLUME buttons, choosing an option by pressing the HOME button and going back by pressing the BACK button. Now choose...
4.1 "Install custom zip"
4.2 "Choose custom zip from sdcard"
4.3 Find and choose "signed_008.zip"
4.4 Let it work...
4.5 "Choose custom zip from sdcard"
4.6 Find and choose "gapps-hdpi-20101226"
4.7 Let it work...
4.8 Go back and choose "Reboot phone".
Now you have the ROM installed..
However, we're not done here...
Your phone will freeze on the "Sony Ericsson" text thingy.. Now do this:
1. Connect your X10 to your computer
2. Download the Android SDK from here:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
3. Put the SDK folder that you just downloaded in C:\
4. Open cmd.exe (search for it in your PC) and write the following text without citation marks "" or brackets () :
"cd C:\(the name of the SDK folder that you downloaded)\android\tools" and press ENTER
5. Now write the following, without citation marks "", and press ENTER between each one:
"adb shell"
"busybox killall5"
6. Wait approximately 10 seconds, take out the battery from your X10, put it back in, start your phone..
BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLATION OF NEW ROM VERSION
If you are about to install a new version of this ROM, I am glad to present you a little backup tips from cobrato
If you have installed a previous GB release, do a backup under xRecovery. For subsequent release, after step 4.7: You can do the following:
Backup & Restore --> Advance Restore --> Select your backup --> Restore Data --> Reboot --> Voila

Guys please i need an advice .... do i wait until this release become stable or jump into Z's 2.2 freeX10 .. is it going to take to long to fix it ? . why they work on HTC and 2.2 if they have 2.3.1 alpha ? i'm confused i don't want to keep losing my apps and settings . i mean i don't wanna keep switching between roms too much. BTW thanks for the Awesome tutorial and i would thank J for spending his time trying to apply 2.3.1 for us
Just to add: If you have installed a previous GB release, do a backup under xRecovery. For subsequent release, after step 4.7: You can do the following:

If anyone Thinks This Should Be removed Im only Trying to Help Some Non-Experianced People With Issues With Custom Roms and Flashing (Such as myself But I'd say I Know Quite a bit).
This is Only a Backup! Kind Of development Not a Theme or ROM just Backup!
Reassons Why You may need this:
*Incase You Flash a Bad Zip Which Gives Errors
*Just To Feel Stock ICS
*Wanting Custimization In a Certain Boundry
*Less Dangerous (Not sure about this But Put it here anyways )
*FileSize
*You Can restore Data/system/boot/cache With CWM using Advanced Restore
*Just Requires a Simple Kernel Such as Doom's Advanced Stock ICS kernel.
*Could Be a Base for Your Development or Theme
How to Install Noob Guide (Only for People Who have No clue How to Flash even tho You should Leave Now if you dont know what your doing )
Step 1) Download the fastboot Package and Install Drivers By Going to Device manger and enter fastboot (via Holding search While Device off, Then Your PC should Try to locate Drivers If everything Goes well It will Fail.
Then Manually Click Browse for them and go to were your Fastboot is But When you get here -->Fastboot-->Fastboot.exe & Drivers Just seelect Drivers and click ok.
Step 2) Now drivers are installed You can Move the boot.img file whatever the kernel name is to the fastboot folder Keep It in that Directory.
Rename the kernel to Boot.
step 3) Now we can Hold Shift and whilst holding Right Click and Open "Command Prompt here".
Step 4) Type the command If you want to Flash and stay In Fastboot and manually reboot:
"Fastboot flash boot boot.img" Ignore the (").
If you wish to Hotboot it do the following:
"fastboot boot boot.img".
step 5) Spam back button or Volume down Untill You Get In CWM if you have not got the backup in the location then go to "mounts and storage" In CWM. Click Mount and makesure SD card is Mounted it should say this if it is "Unmount SD".
Then Just Copy the files over.
Step 6)Go to "Backup and Restore" and Click The backup "File name" If you rename the backup makesure there are no spaces or you'' Get MD5 Mismatch.
Remember to extract the Zip to ClockWorkMod-->Backup-->Backup here.
[disclamer]
In no means Is this a ROM its a Backup for many purpose and requires an Unlcoked Bootloader Not having so will Result In a Bootloop or Your Phone Wont boot.
This does not act upon a ROM or Theme just a Backup so please use Custom ROMs If there Is anything You wish to add Comment Below and State What you Woould Like.
[Is there Something That you Own and Dont want it in this Backup?]
I understand If you want me to Remove something in this Backup Please Tell me Why and I will Be most happy to remove it, But this is actually making your Thing well Known but ah well.

u should know... the shift+Rclick doesn't work on Windows XP OS.
I had a verry hard time figuring where do people see this command line when i was using windows xp.
And when selecting fastboot drivers in device manager, windows xp doesn't have the option to automatically search for the proper drivers inside the entire "drivers" folder.. u'll have to manually select the proper .inf file.. wich ofcourse i didn't know the good one since there are many. the automatic search for the driver is only available in windows 7 (and vista?)
thought u should mention it.

Sent from my R800i using xda premium
Or buy a WIndows System Upgrade for like £40/$50/60
Or iNstall linux/Ubuntu Really good Im using it!
Just an FYI, CDMA users of ICS Sony Beta are still encountering problems with it actually working, so you might wanna wait to "support" CDMA until we get it spot on.

PRESENTATION:
The whole goal of this ROM was to release an "unleashed" ROM for our HTC Desire V phone, while we maintain the Sense 4 in place. Here is the result: a new ROM "WITHOUT BRAKES".
The author of this ROM is vitamerlan from 4pda.ru
WARNING:
Whatever you do with your phone, you do that entirely on your own risk and you have full responsibility for the consequences. The author can't be responsible for any damages of your phone!
Read carefully! INSTALLATION:! Read carefully!
1) DO a backup of the current firmware!
2) DO a backup of your userdata !!!
3) Download the firmware itself and boot.img (you can extract the boot.img from the downloaded archive)
4) Copy the firmware file to sdcard.
5) IMPORTANT, now in the command line FLASH THE BOOT.IMG! This step is required before flashing any firmware, because otherwise you won't be able to use BT, WiFi or Data.
****5.1 Download file from links posted below
****5.2 Create a folder on the C drive and name it "Android"
****5.3 Unzip the downloaded archive contents to this folder
****5.4 Restart the phone in Fastboot mode and connect it to computer.
****5.5 In Windows menu, click Start/run/cmd and "enter" and open a command line window.
****5.6 Type in command line:
Code:
CD C: /Android <<enter>>
fastboot flash boot boot.img <<enter>>
****5.7 Close that window , disconnect the phone, go to recovery
6) WARNING! All data will be deleted! I hope you did not forget about backup?! If you did - it's too late now! Boot in CWM - recovery and as usual select install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard to start the process of firmware installation. You don't have to wipe anything, but you can do it.
7) Reboot the phone. Don't wipe anything now!
8) IMPORTANT! The first boot is long, the system is optimizing for the new boot.img (the core of the any firmware). During the boot the screen will blink several times - this is normal. When you will see the lock screen (somewhere around four minutes), don't rush! You have to wait another five minutes, to see the "real brake" interface.
9) After the pre-set the phone will RESTART by itself.
10) Now everything is set-up and in place. Enjoy your new ROM. But remember! From now on, when you restart the phone, it will need a little longer time to initialize.Attention! It is recommendable to install and configure all of the applications "from scratch".
If all of sudden after the installation or the first use, you do a phone resets to factory settings (wipe data/factory reset), then flash the ROM again. Otherwise it will be an error starting the Rosie (icon customizer). So far, for that there is no solution.
WHAT'S NEW
The firmware includes all the latest improvements, changes, patches and theme decorations - improved quality of the picture and the camera Sense 5, patch battery improvement, improved GPS, new skins, OG mod ... and much more.
By double-clicking on the battery icon in the status bar you can change the battery appearence.
Also there are included many usefull apps. All apps have been very carefull selected for low battery use.The initial ROM shared link.

More screenshots.
All credits and appreciations to ROM's author @vitamerlan . I've posted the ROM here at his request.
Any questions or feedback you have, post it here or in the original ROM's forum, and if vitamerlan will have time he will try to answer you.
For a better understanding I recommend, if you want to post on original ROM's forum, or for @vitamerlan to read posts from this thread, use yandex translator, because when it comes to English_Russian translations is by far way better than google translate.
.
ok nice. will try it today. curious how this rom works.
i've tried the rom and went back to the baidu version. this rom has some glitches in my opinion. it looks nice nevertheless

if you want to build lineage-os u need this device tree, vendor tree, kernel tree. and i think there's no one did provide this device tree cuz it's rare chipset... so u must build the device tree so u can build the rom to the device... so if any developer made a tree 4 this device and this will be great and then u could port what ever u want cuz the porting process will be more easier but for our bad luck that's didin't happend, so my advice to u bro is try to port N7,S7 roms i don't now if it will be more easier than CM and lineage OS but it will be more stable and will be fast and good with battery so i will try to port this rom to J3 any help will be awesome.. and ofcourse if you have made any process with lineage os rom i will be glad to help u with fixing bugs and teasting if u want to
Hi guys. I was checking the forums of emui here in XDA and I saw a guy mentioning (here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...ing-xposed-t3338765/post66250513#post66250513 ) the HRT team from China (HUAWEI ROM TEAM) is always developing custom roms for HUAWEI devices and found this rom:
http://club.huawei.com/thread-10756653-1-1.html
I used google translate to translate the webpage and it seems to be pretty new and it includes Xposed frameword which for me is super! And also it's based in the latest firmware 130 for our HONOR 5C. If some of you know chinese or how to get proper instructions of how to install the ROM would be great.
Thanks you all! and let's try to get it together!

Hi DarkLink, that is what I'm asking. Someone who knows chinese to have proper isntructions. Cheers
The methods is traditional...
Recovery -> Wipe All -> and flash maybe...
I tried it, its not working at all, got stuck at blank screen after boot logo, unable to reset. End up updating with stock rom using, vol- vol+ power button.
One thing to note is that the chinese huawei glory 5c model is launched with volte and there is no seprate modem update we can flash.
Woooh.. I see.
Well... I think this rom is not flashable now !
