Hello,
Does anyone have a module "nls-utf8.ko" compiled for Galaxy Note SGH-i717?
I am trying to set up mapping of the windows share as a local resource in Android using Cifs manager but it will not accept option iocharset=utf8 and folders with non-English names don't work.
I have searched this forum and Google but have not found anything for 2.3.35.11 kernel (i717).
Maybe good folks at SAUROM Projekt can build one? I cannot contact them directly because of "10 posts" rule.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you, Lenkost.

Hi if I could solicit some help, I am in search of a tun.ko file for openvpn for Samsung GTi5510 Kernel 2.6.32.9-perf. If anyone knows where I can get one or can teach me how to make one that would really help. Thanks
When first rom will be ready then I can build for you this module.
What do you need to make a rom?
I need the exact same thing. Been looking all over the internet, but I can't seem to find one.
Anyone who can help?
Thanks!
Tun.ko module will be include in beta release of Cyanogenmod 7 for 551.
Hello,
I have looked for this for a long time and haven't come up with an answer.
I know Android uses the Locale.java code for looking up and matching the locales.
I also know it uses ISO-639 for language codes.
But what is frustrating me is - Where is this ISO-639 table/code/file stored in Android?
I decompiled every jar in framework folder and I didn't find anything.
Can someone help me with this issue?
Thank you!
Hey guys!
I was wonderwing wether someone could tell me where i can find the proprietary files for android phones (htc desire gsm specifically). The wiki says "find updated prop blobs" but has no reference as to where to even look.
I want to build a KANG for a device i have no physical access to, so i cannot extract the proprietary files.
Thanks!

Hi everybody,
first of all I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place
I'm trying to add new emojis to stock Mms.apk of cm9...
(Like emoji 2 for Iphone in iOS 5.1+ and in the new version of Whatsapp)
I'm not so practice with application development, so I'm here to ask if anybody can help me...
I have decompiled the original app, added the new emojis in res/drawable (png 40x40 32bit), added the strings in public.xml but now I can't go on...
I tried to rebuild and sign app, but when i put in in my system folder and try the mms application, new emojis don't appear anywhere...
Can someone tell me where I'm wrong or what I'm missing?
Maybe the libemoji.so needs editing?
If so, how can I modify a .so file?
I'm on Windows 7
Thank you all for your attention and I'm sorry if this is a noob question...
Regards
Stefano
Edit: Ok, I understood that the way i was moving war wrong... I need to compile the app from source... So I downloaded all the files needed by cyanogenmod github (https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_packages_apps_Mms) and I downloaded the repository as a zip file... I also understood that the file that need to be edited is emojiparser.java and I suppose that I know how to edit it, but what I don't know is how to recompile the apk file to be installed on the device... Some advice?
Please, help! :'( :crying:

Does anybody have news?
Have you tried simply copying over the Messaging app from CM10?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
It seems that mma application of CM10 can't be used on CM9 and looking TO the code it doesn't support newest emojis... Am I wrong?
Hi All!
After searching around and trying to understand how the CM themes work I have come to a point I don't really know the answer to.
As I am not fluent in any tech speak in terms of coding, I am unsure how to answer this myself by looking up the templates on git-hub and such, and as internet searching has failed me, I wanted to ask; where do CM themes store their media? this is regarding the fact that an individual wanted to copy or view such media through a file explorer or whatnot.
So if someone can just tell me how to get to the media inside a theme-pack, i'd be grateful.
Thanks in advance for any help
