I rooted my xperia x10 mini succesfully then downloaded application link2sd after 20
days my brother open link2sd and make a application to system app, then automatically it switches off. And now its not switched on,when pressing power button it vibrates and display only sony ericsson,it will be charging.Darkmatthew in xda says "Download Sony PC Companion and there is option "repairs".This flash your firmware to stock". But there is no option of "repair" in sony pc companion. And my xperia x10 mini is not connecting to pc companion because it is not switched on. What can I do? Please help me.

I install by error a ROM for X8 (E15i) on X10 mini pro (u20i) and don´t me let restore my back up from xrecovery, no work touch screen on principal screen where say "Touch the Android", need help please. Sorry by me english.
You could try a fresh install from seus, then install xrecovery and then restore your backup.

when i conect x10 mini pro on pc to update from seus appear a screen on pc to slide down status bar and select usb to recognize the phone but the touch screen dont work or what is fresh install, thanks
turn off your phone (pull battery out) run SEUS and start for flashing stock rom then conect phone to pc and when you are conecting it hold back button.green led light will turn on and folow instruction in SEUS

Hi there I was interested in modifying my x10 min pro but one thing I got correct is to root my device but I'm failing to flash it via S1tool, or flashtool, I've also tried the ggsetup.
the ggsetup was able to install the drivers for my device but still the S1tool shows me the following report: Welcome to S1 tool.

My device does try to flash but it doesn't stay on flash mode i.e. the green light appears and the tool recognizes that device is in flash mode but seconds later the green light just fades away and the orange on appears and the TOOL says the device has been disconnected.
Please help I'VE tried countless times to progress, but I've failed

You need to unlock your bootloader.Go to X10 Mini Pro General and search for my All In One guide.
I will also suggest to try with different data cable....may be problem with your cable....I faced same problem earlier but after replacing cable everything was fine...!!
Hey bro, did you fixed your problem. I have the same problem, I can't go into the flash mode. What should I have to do?
My even doesn't want to show me green diode at all. All the time it is orange.
Try to HOLD the back button,do not immediately release the back button as soon your phone connected to flash mode

I have a strange problem if i connect my Xperia Ray to my PC evething works except updating the Xperia Ray. I tried "Sony PC Companion v2.10.065" and "Flashtool v0.8.0.0" but i get always the same error message that i should turn off the phone and unplug the USB cable and then plugin the USB cable with pressing a key but that doesn't help.
What i don't get is that it can update the Xperia Ray on my old Laptop but on my Desktop PC, dose anyone know how to fix this.
Hold volume down button, then plug in USB cable Into phone(keeping volume down still pressed). You must do this while phone is off to enter flash mode.

My brother has an x10 mini pro. When i asked him what is the phone exactly, he only said xperia mini pro. (I'm not familiar with SE, most playin with my SGS phones.) I've used the SE Extreme Tweak tool to get CWM on the phone (already rooted successfully, debugging turned on) but that was for Xperia Mini Pro. I can't do nothing, no flash- or recovery mode. Don't know what should i do, i think i've bricked his phone totally, Windows doesn't recognize at all.

Download and install Sony PC Companion
Leave the phone disconnected from the PC
Choose update
PC Companion won't recognise the phone because it is disconnected and offer a repair link
Choose that, accept to loose all data, it will ask you to identify the model and download the firmware for it
It will ask you to connect your phone in flashmode
(Either: if phone is turned off, press and hold the back-button and plug in the usb-cable, OR connect your phone with the usb-cable, press Home and Powerbutton together until the screen goes black, then release those buttons and press the back-button. Either way the led will go green and PC Companion will start to flash the stock firmware to the phone)

If PC Companion gives you the message that there is no firmware for the phone we'll have to figure something else, but try those steps above first
i think you should try seus (sony ericsson update service) to repair your phone
if u want you can download it from here: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/ and follow the steps on the screens and repair ur phone
As title, my X10 was totally dead. When I press the power button only 3 red led blinking. I did not turn on USB Debugging mode and never connected my X10 to any computer before my phone was dead. I tried using flashtool or Sony PC Companion to flash a new firmware but I can't flash because my PC or flashtool can't detect my phone when I plug in USB. So is there any way to revive my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10? And sorry for my bad English.
