In addition to Vol Down + Power, Home + Power also still worked for me on LPQ, which is 4.0.3. I don't get why there are so many people out there this doesn't work for.

On cm9 power + Vol down+ home works

well guys, thanks
but i use the samsung official rom i9100zslpg
the vol.down+power key didn't work at all.........

you realize you have 3 different combinations up there and instead of tring one you could have tried all three, one should have worked.....

Plus, you have to hold for a couple seconds. It doesn't take the screen shot right away.

It used to work like that for me, but since I upgraded and rooted with KG5 it stopt working. I haven't flashed back stock kernel since the yellow triangle doesn't bother me at all.
Anyone else had this issue?
edit:
after reboot it worked again.....

[Q] How to get US AT&T S2 into download mode?

I tried the volume down plus home button thing but it does not work.
FWIW, I had a Captivate and rooted/customized and installed every ROM on the planet. Did the same on the Infuse...so I'm familiar with the process but every post I read about rooting says the same thing.
To enter download mode:
Down on volume button
Hold home button
Power button
The thing is, from the pictures, this phone looks different than the Euro version.
Wrong section, you should be in the AT&T section instead http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1302.

[Q] No screen capture in the offcial ICS4.0?

As many have already known that Samsung recently rolled out the ICS4.0 update for it's Galaxy SII models in Europe. But i found that the screen capture function is no longer working.
I have tried several key combinations known as Home+Power and Volum down+Power. But none of those seemed working
So I'm wondering if any of you guys having the same problem?
Thanks in advance!
It's working! Home + power

Works for me too, it's slower to capture than GB, but does what it needs to do.

hi, its "Volume down+Power" with ICS 4.0.3, keep them held down for at least two seconds, and try to press volume down first.
+1 for Volume Down + Power on 4.0.3 LPQ
Cool animation too...

[Q] Taking screen shot using the stock 4.0.4 ROM

Hey there
When I was in GB, I could easily take screen shots by pressing the home key and meanwhile press the power button, but after upgrading to 4.0.4 this method didn't work anymore,
Do you know a way to capture screen in ics rom without installing a third party program
vol down and power button will do and also you can press the power button bit long it will show u a option to take a screen shot
Try power button and home key this work for me (also 4.0.4)
Hold down power button and home button at the same time and keep it like that for 3-4 seconds. It will take a screen shot.

Official way to reboot into recovery?

I'm just wondering what the OFFICIAL WAY to boot into recovery is when the device is turned off...I've googled this question 15 times and ALWAYS come back with different answers....some say
1) Power + Home + Volume up
2) Volume Up + Power Button
3) Home + Power + Volume Up and when Samsung Logo appears let go of home but continue holding Volume up + power
4)Volume Up + Power but when you feel the phone vibrate let go of Power button and continue to hold volume up
5) Power down phone...turn it on holding power button and when you see Samsung Logo hold Volume Up
Even looking through threads on here gives a hundred different answers....Which way is the official way?
Thanks for the feedback/input

Well in my way just hold down the Volume up + Home + Power, then wait till the Samsung Logo and let go all of the buttons.
No need to press the home button on the GS4. Volume up+power until you see Samsung logo
If already rooted there is an app in play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siriusapplications.quickboot can press reboot straight into recovery

Thanks for that but I really was just wondering the way to do it when phone is powered off there's so many conflicting ways even the first two people who answered said two different things and every article i read is different
I do Vol UP + Home + Power until i see the Samsung screen. Point is whatever works for you is what you should do... simple. Tomato-Tomaado

Almost every way mentioned will work, there's no official way.
To me the easiest is (with power off) hold Volume up, press the power button and, when I feel the vibration, release the power button.
Whatever you prefer is YOUR "official way."
