Stock ROM is best for the n00bs
Sent from my MB853 using XDA

Be more specific... And honestly he's right. Stock rom is fine for a whole lot of people. You seem to be in that category. And as far as the wma files, you just need a music player that supports that format. Search the market.. Mortplayer will do it as its folder based and supports a wide variety of media formats.

Thanks by advance
It doesn't work with ICS, and only works on AOSP (I.E CM7 & Miui, I cannot stress this enough. Don't try it on ICS roms or Samsung based GB roms because it will not work) Gingerbread roms. I've attached it to this post in the event you wish to downgrade (assuming you're currently running an ICS rom) to one of these roms in order to use the app.
kinda OT but
seems some video files arent supported under PA...
any suggestions on a good video player? or codecs sources at that?

[Q] Which Rom is Right For Me ? HOX

Ok so yesterday I got a new Htc One X I Rooted it and put clockwork recovery onto it but I find my self in situation where i can't pick the right rom for me to use.
I am after a rom that
Keeps the beats audio and camera features of HTC sense.
Has Great Battery Life.
Has more supported file formats in video and music categories (not a must but would be great)
I would really appreciate it if anyone has any opinions on this.
Cheers
You can check out Android Revolution HD 5.2.0.It is improved version of stock ROM.No visual changes etc.

Cheers man thanks for the information.
Does it allow different file formats ?
Just try every rom, then you know which is the right for you.

HELP!!! Flash Player doesn't work

Hi everybody.
After installing the Omega ROM 5.2, my SGS III is not able to play videos with flash!!!! It´s so terrible for me because I always watch tv on streaming, which need flash player app. I've installed/unistalled the app lot of times from market and using my Titanium B. backup and I don't know what more can I do. Please anybody has experimented something similar???? I'd be so glad if anybody could tell me any solution for this enormous problem . Thanks a lot!!!! Sorry for my English : P
Even on stock Rom flash player is buggy on the S3. Videos will freeze midway through while sound continues to play. But it seems nobody here is bothered by this problem.

Yh i was wondering what was up with that. Also double tapping the video doesnt format the video to the correct size. I remember the gs2 running 2.3 and flash was almost flawless.

Might sound obvious, but have you actually installed Adobe Flash Player from the market?
In the SG3 Known Faults thread, Baldilocks tells us that the very latest ROM, XXLAF6, appears to fix the flash problem (at least, he tested it and couldn't find any fault). So there is hope!

[Q] MP3 Playback - Bug!??

Hey guys
i have a Problem with the Playback from some mp3's.
So i open the file with the standard player, it say's: "This type of Audiofile can't be played"...
But if i open the Audiofile over the "Root Explorer", it will be played with this player.
What is it?
Any other App from the Store make exactly the same bug...
The exactly same file's was played on ICS without any failure... but Jelly Bean??
In hopes that the new firmware (1.14.401.18) will fix the problem, i had flash the Revolution HD 4.0 Rom but this is not the case...
What can i do?
It is not acceptable! Such problems were among the old Windows Mobile 6 times...
PS: The Custom Rom is NOT the Problem. I have this Bug since i unpacked the One x+...
I have no problem with music (FLAC or MP3) at all, so it must be a problem on your side (ROM, other installations, MP3 or anything)... Not a general HOX+ problem...

Sure?
Look at the Changelog from the xxx.18 Firmware, if you're on the xxx.16 and get the official update...
"fix Problem's with mp3-Playback"...

According to your post I should have problems with .16 firmware, but I don't have any issues Sound quality is fine as well, bluetooth no problem and sound very well...
I am on .16 and now have just the update for .6 available... where can I see the changelog for updates?

You must download it and where you can choose to install or abort this Update, you see the little List of change's...
The one Point with the mp3's fix was the reason for me, to risk to flash an custom rom because i have only rooted it before.
I must correct me:
The MX Player, rather a Video Player, is able to play the MP3's. All now, without issues..
But not the "Beats" player from HTC, wich is perfectly integrated... Damn it!!
Can anybody help me??
Please

You may be a nice guy, but i have nothing utility from your answer's. It's right?
So, my thread is full of answers and everbody think, cheater2 was helped now...
You know?
I hope, that the Revolution 5.0 fix it now...
i will be trying to flash it today
I have over 300 MP3 files and no problem playing them with the stock HTC player.
Many players will only work with standard bit rates and ID3 tags. If any are not using the proper standard it might fail to play.
The reason other players are working is most likely they are ignoring the bad data or will play nonstandard bit rates.

You may be right, these files have different bit rates... -> but why can i play since gingerbread all mp3's without any failure?
and now makes JB difference between the rates?
What goes wrong with my Stock-Player?
PS:
In hope that the Problem solve itself, i waiting for Revo 5.1 and a working download-server...
