Could you change the language to English ?
I hope this update will be available for Lumia 800 as well very soon.
Still hanging on 12072 - w/o Internet Sharing. :-(
This update has been removed from Nokia Servers according to NaviFirm

If you don't have experience with flashing I would advise you to wait a few more weeks if you can. It's always safer to go the official way. These non Chinese firmwares indicate that Nokia has finished the internal testing. If everything works out as planned we'll see the rollout in the next 2-3 weeks.

I do have experience flashing roms. Flashed Android roms and Windows Phone roms to my HTC HD2 in the past. Just not done it yet with the Lumia
So if i know what I am doing is the rom in the link compatible with a UK unbranded 710?
Thanks!

By default NSS is saving the Nokia DLOAD when you are replacing it by the QLOAD. You have a restore button that make you go back.
Never tried, but should work. (Since it doing exactly the same operation (rewrite the bootloader) with another one).
Don't forget it's ONLY for Nokia Lumia 710.
As explained in the guide :
For an 800, only a device showing up as Qualcomm can be unlocked.
A DLOAD in 800 cannot be unlocked as yet.

Hi there, first THANK all of you for your helpful work in the past years. Ive reading so much on xda and it helped me always so often with my little problems. Thanks!
Now im a proud User of a Lumia 920 - and im lovin it. But at first, i have a few Problems. But i solved it (also with help from the xda-Forum, of course ^-^). And now im thinking, ok maybe i can help too. Ive see a lot of Messages written by German people here and a few from them was asking about Flashing a Lumia 920.
So i wrote a Tutorial, how to flash Lumia 920 Smartphone with a non branded german ROM (but you can use of course any other ROM-File too.) Maybe it helps - and sorry, its in German, cause its my native Language
Again - thanks all for the hints and tipps over the years - and we have a lot of things to do
Tutorial - How to Flash (in German)
// EDIT
Ok, i grab my few english skills and try to wrote an (hopefully) understandable english Tutorial of this... dont laugh at me too loud
Tutorial - How to Flash (in English)
I have a lumia 920 which is locked to EE network. If i flash with another rom will it also work with other providers?
No unfortunately it will only change the ROM and not Carrier Unlock the device.
That's amazing! Well done.
Any German people care to carry the torch and translate it for the rest of us english speakers? I'd love to be able to flash my ATT Lumia to a Rogers one until I can get it unlocked.
Thank you for this guide. Using your guide I managed to flash my UK Lumia (which has the EE firmware) with the factory default GB firmware.
Does this mean you can flash your ATT phone to Rogers firmware and take advantage of AWS 1700?
Thanks,
Thanks for your support. Glad that i can help some people. I can try to translate this little Tutorial in English too, but then some of you has to help me with the correct grammar
Anyone have success with Internet Sharing when flashing to another ROM?
planing to flash my lumia 920
i want to flash my lumia 920 i have already unlocked veriosn and global rom from italy but i want to change it because it seems the italian rom don't support at the moment 4g LTE connectivity so if i will flash RM821_CV_DE_VAR241810_yelllow the rom of germany LTE will b enabled as i contacted nokia and they told me at the moment maybe nokia didn't enabled LTE for the italian version ? thank you anyway for the great support
Please, next time use punctuation marks (no offense). I think, your question was, if you can flash an german ROM on the Lumia 920 to enable LTE in Italian, right?
Try it. The Language (italian) is still inside, so you can switch after Installing the ROM on your Smartphone. But i dont know, whether the LTE Settings in this Firmware the right ones for your country. It doesnt, you can change the Firmware back...
Dont think, anyone here can help you with this Problem. But it would be nice, if you post your experience, so it might help other people who face this Problem. Good Luck!
how do you know which firmware is unbranded? I want to flash my 820 (RM-825 code 059Q9L) to one unbranded in english (the actual ROM is unbranded but in German), but i can't identify one. BTW, I'm using Navifirm+ to find the lastest one.
Like-wise interested, which one is unbranded, and does it enable internet sharing/allow you to use it?
I have an unbranded Lumia 920. On my package where it came from it says CV (Country version).
Manufacturer Model Name: RM-821_eu_euro2_248
Mobil Operator Name: 000-DE
And yes i can share Internet, here a pic:

So, the unbranded firmwares has this "000" followed by the country code were it was sold?
My NL920 that I bought it from Germany had that indicator but I flash it to an Orange UK stock firmware because I had a lot of apps that were not available with that firmware.
I guess so, I know the german Vodafone Lumia 920 has VOD-DE instead of 000-DE
I concur. I have installed the Nokia default firmware for the UK on my phone and it shows the following
Manufacturer Model Name: RM-821_eu_euro1_276
Mobile Operator Name: 000-GB
Carrier: CV GB SW Variant ID 276 v03
OS version: 8.0.9903.10

Yeap we should be able to do that and completely unbrand the RM-820 model (the AT&T and Rogers variants) using this method, however the "clean" firmware found on the Developer Edition Lumia 920 is not yet on the server. I personally expect that to be available once the first major update is release for the Lumia 920 from Nokia. Hopefully I am correct...
Now im flashin an Portico-ROM on my Lumia. Its branded from Orange (swiss Operator), but hasnt any looks or limitations - BUT cant use 4G.
Infos:
Model-Name: RM-821_eu_Euro2_345
Operator Name: ORG-CH
Infos (in German) here: http://aydon.wordpress.com/2012/12/21/winphoneportico-schon-jetzt-auf-lumia-920
So should I be able to flash my AT&T branded 920 currently with RM-820_NAM_ATT_US_VAR237330_V1_Black (059L848), to this firmware
RM-821_CV_GB_VAR245507_v2_Black (059R075) ???

Provider updates take a little longer because of some T-Mobile apps or settings that have to be approved and tested by Nokia.

Thanks.
AMXLA = Americas: Mexico and Latin America
RETCA = Retail Canada
RETCA-ROGERS = Retail Canada with Rogers carrier bloatware
RETCA-TELUS = Retail Canada with Telus carrier bloatware
There are a bunch of others as well. Check which regional version you phone is in Settings > About Phone

Thanks! In CyanogenMod i can't see that (or i'm stupid maybe)... but i'm from Argentina and it should be AMXLA.

You should be fine still. All the XT1527s have the same radio bands, so flashing another region's radio isn't going to mess anything up. The only difference would probably be pre-installed system languages (AMXLA might default to Spanish, Canada might default to English, etc), and any pre-installed apps.
If your XT1527 is dual-SIM, however, you'll need to grab an XT1527 firmware with "DS" in the file name. Ones without "DS" are for single-SIM devices.

Excellent, i saw what you say with DS/DSTV versions in the Mega folder. Is there anything important like the difference of "DEFAULT/RGRCA/TELUS/etc" ?

DS is dual-SIM, meant for dual-SIM devices. DSTV is dual-SIM and TV, which I'm pretty sure is exclusive to Brazil.
I'm not entirely sure what DEFAULT stands for (you'd think it would just mean a standard stock OS, but I see "DEFAULT" on other ROMs that have carrier bloat, so I'm unsure). RGRCA and TELUS are Canadian carriers, so those two XT1527 ROMs are probably tailored to them in some way.
