Hi
Can I flash the above kernel safely using cwm? I am already rooted using cwm.zip then update.zip. I want to install and use some custom boot animations. I currently have ICS 4.0.4 XXLQ6.
Thank you
Tim

don't use ROM manager to flash anything on your device. It has caused many problems for many people already.
Flash with CWM recovery.
It's very easy to use.
BTW, what's your ROM details?

That was quick.
If iunderstood you properly, your aim is to flash Miui ROM, right?
I'm not sure if you are rooted or even have access to CWM recovery.
Anyway, follow this instruction:
- You will need root access. If you have let me know.
- You will need CWM recovery. If you have, let me know.
- have you found your desired miui ROM? If yes, post the link to the Rom thread
- why do you want to flash an miui ROM, is it because it looks like an iPhone? If yes, there may be other alternatives.
Waiting for your response.

on Xda, you cannot ask for ROM recommendation. Questions like that go through PM. If you want me to recommend you any ROM, send me a PM.
My aim is to help you install/flash your desired Rom safely.

The Root kernel you used is not Fully compatible with your Firmware ( I believe you are running 4.0.4 firmware).
The solution is to flash a compatible custom kernel or flash back your stock kernel.
Hey guys... I'm trying to root my S3. Its the international version but I can't find any forums for this model. The baseband is UBDLI2..

Don't know what you mean by international version, if you meant non-US version (use Samsung CPU instead of Qualcomm), many rooting methods and custom ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1685
