Lumia 710 owners, I need your help - Nokia Lumia 800

I am trying to get to the bottom of the problem that I have with my application on some devices. Some users have trouble opening my GPS Speedometer application that you can find in my signature.
One of the users told me that he is trying to run the application on Lumia 710 but he always gets an error on startup. Error can be sent to my email but it is very inconclusive. I was hoping to find out which device model OS version causes the problem so that I can try to get my hands on that kind of a device. If I remember correctly there were users with Lumia 710 who gave me good reviews so it must be the firmware/OS version.
So, I kindly ask any owner of Lumia 710 to download my GPS Speedometer application (there is FREE GPS Speedometer and GPS Speedometer (trial)....you can download both of them) and post a result.
It's a shame that obviously not all applications work on all devices.
Thanks

They all work for me:
Nokia Lumia 710
Carrier: Virgin Mobile
Software: Windows Phone 7.5
Total Storage: 6.28 GB
Available storage: 1.74 GB
OS version: 7.10.8107.79

Bootloader version: 7.33.0.0
Chip SOC version: 0.74.2.1

Not unlocked in any way.

downloaded. and both working fine free and trial. lumia710 12120 tango

Thank you both for helping. I am sure now that application works on Lumia 710.
This are the data from device that can't run the application:
Os version 7.10.8107.79
Firmware rev. 1600.3015.8107.12070
Hardware rev. 112.1402.2.1
Radio software ver. 1.6.00.30
Radio hatdware ver. 8255
Bootloader ver. 7.33.0.0
Chip SOC ver. 0.74.2.1
Is there anyone else with those versions that could try to run it?

Both work 100% fine on my Lumia 710
OS Version: 7.10.8107.79
Firmware Revision: 1600.3015.8107.12070
Hardware Revision: 112.1402.2.1
Radio software Version. 1.6.00.30
Radio hardware Version. 8255
Bootloader Version. 7.33.0.0
Chip SOC Version. 0.74.2.1
Exact same info as your problem one

It looks like I'm not going to solve that problem any time soon. Unless I put my hands on a device that has a problem. That's not going to happen any time soon.
Anyway, thank you all for your help. I didn't expect to get a feedback that fast. But obviously Lumia 710 owners are there when you need them.

Maybe the bug is not with the hardware, but a conflict with another app installed on their phones, or a location settings they have set ?

I don't think so. Apps are isolated from each other. I just talked to the user that reported error. He reinstalled the application the third time and now it works. Good to know that there can be problems like that and that we can resolve them with simple reinstall.

Gps navagation
Hey guys and girls. I have a question my ma got the lumia 710 and the tmoble rep said that you need 3g,4d wifi for the gps navigation to work and will have to buy a data plain.. But on her older nokia it used OVI navigation and didn't have to use data it ONLY used the information from the satellites and the cell antenna. On the lumia 710 I downloaded the usa maps from that drive program. Is the tmoble rep bull sh**^ing or is there a way to use the gps without using data?

i'm experiencing the same results as you. migrated to 7720 5 days ago and no HTC firmware updates have shown up in Zune. i'm using a Telstra 7 Mozart and my software info is the same as yours except for the bootloader: i'm on 1.23.2250.5(110539). radio hardware is obviously different as well: A.22.0.D4.
Hi, I found a way to get what I wanted. I did as follows.
1. Flashed back to stock Rom.
2. Did all the updates to 7392.
3. Zune then told me about update to 7403.
4. Flashed Mango Beta.
5. Flashed Mango.
6. Now have latest Rom and Latest Firmware.
Hope this helps.

[Q] Still no 7740 firmware (cyan)

Hello,
I have a free-sim (unbranded) Lumia 800 cyan using Vodafone Spain network. I still haven't got the 7740 firmware. I did the battery test and it seems I am not affected. I was wondering though if anyone has got the update or if we have to wait till the second firmware update.
If I update using Send To Cab, will my phone be "Walshed"?
These are the version of my phone:
OS version: 7.10.7740.16
Firmware revision number: 1600.2475.7720.11414
Hardware revision number: 112.1402.2.3
Radio software version: 1.6.00.24
Radio hardware version: 8255
Bootloader version: 7.35.0.0
Chip SOC version: 0.74.2.1
Thanks!
Correction for you:
7740 is not firmware. It's a Windows Phone software update.
Firmware is what Nokia would put out to update the device/hardware/drivers.

No. The most recent Nokia firmware is 1600.2479.7740.11451. That's why I'm referring to it as 7740 (also the OS version).

Lumia 800 demo software off?

Hello.
I tried to search but I couldn't find answer.
I have this Nokia Lumia 800 which has demo software in it, so it just keeps on resetting itself and demo video rolls on when it's loading battery.
Is there anyway for me to make this Lumia normal? I want this demo out of it.
My W7 doesn't find it when I plug it in. And I live in Finland if that matters.
OS Version: 7.10.7740.16
Firmware revision number: 1600.2479.7740.11451
Hardware revision number: 112.1402.2.3
Radio software number: 1.6.00.24
Radio hardware version 8255
Bootloader version: 7.35.0.0
Chip SOC version: 0.74.2.1
Thanks.
Where did you get it from? If it was from a reputable shop, take it back as you have been given a demo version. Otherwise, it was probably stolen.
Friend who works in shop got few extra demo phones they are allowed to keep and he asked me to take demo softwares off.
So not stolen
YOu have to flash it with Nokia Care, you have a demo firmware, you can't turn it off, you have ti flash with a regular firmware.
Seidea.com Nokia Care is the newest?
Also, where can I get normal firmware?
Firmwares can be found in Data Package Manager from Nokia too.
Download firmware with DPM, then, use NCS to flash
This is the exact same procedure as for Unbrand the device.
Here is a tutorial, in French sorry, but, pictures speak for themselves
http://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/gsmgps.../unique-nokia-lumia-sujet_23403_1.htm#t828970 (scroll down to the first big picture of Data Package Manager).
And another without pictures but in english : http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Le...okia-Lumia-800-Giffgaffers-guide/td-p/2891451
Those 2 links give you links to get thoses softwares.
Good Luck
Thank you so much X3n0n!

RE-branding htc / changing voice control accent

having few problems with my mozart , i bought a second hand device to replace a fried mozart and it came debranded but basically i need to re-brand it back to Orange UK
is this even possible ?
which would be the correct ROM
i have tried several ROM's to no avail , i don't seem to be able to establish a connection in WMDC although the bootloader changes to USB on the phone
the biggest problem i have with the current ROM is the voice recognition confirmations being a U.S voice (my old phone which was locked to orange was a UK voice) , nothing major i know but as i use my mozart mainly for the voice control when i am working , it is starting to drive me insane !
details are :
Model: HTC 7 Mozart
OS version: 7.10.8773.98
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.51201.401
Hardware: 0004
Radio S: 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
Radio H: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader: 5.12.2250.1(134578)
Chip: 2.2.5.0
any help would be greatly appreciated
just flash the right STOCK ROM and remember the official SPL, if you are on HSPL now.
