I would have posted this in the development thread but xda rules won't allow me until I reach a higher post count.
I just flashed Jokersax's CM9 6.0 with kernel 1.3 last night and I can no longer activate WIFI, not through the WIFI-Manager app or the Android settings. It appears to be fully disabled.
Anyone else have the same problem and perhaps found a solution?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
Any chance you have a link for the new kernel? I only see 1.3 on Jokersax's site.
Interesting..
I am unable to flash using the 1.4 kernel, it just gets stuck in either recovery or reboots and doesn't do anything. I flashed the 1.3 kernel and it works besides wifi.
(Using MIUI 2.5.4 on joker's recovery btw)
hi! got the same problem -wifi does not work on CM9 0.6.0 with 1.3 kernel
Please let know if someone found how to fix that
solution came faster than expected
0.6.1 fixed the wifi problem for me: factory reset + 0.6.1 + gapps 12 worked fine without flashing any kernels

I installed the Franco kernel v13.7 and the phone's bluetooth wouldn't turn on. Today I installed the Franco v14 hoping that the bluetooth was fixed, but still not working. Does anyone facing the same problem?
Mine works
i m on 13.7 too
WFM both with v13.7 and v14
I've used almost every version from 11 to 14... no problems so far.
Which kernel did you have before fk13.7?
Everything is working fine for me. Using franco kernel since v12performance.

Before that I was using the factory kernel, and the bluetooth was working just fine. I don't know what happens, maybe if I flash it again.
experienced same problem here
tho i experienced that on mik_os' cm7 port beta 6.3
but i found out it doesnt matters andy's or mik's or whatever kernel
i have tried the follows:
- unpair all connections of bluetooth before flashing kernel
- reflash the rom and kernel
make sure:
- dont restore anything about bluetooth with titanium INCLUDING bluetooth file transfer app and data, just clean install it back from market
and my problem was solved
hope this helps
I just upgraded to kernel 14.1 and bluetooth is working, thanks to all for your help.
It won't detect your model so take you own risk!
Just flash it with CWM.
This package contains ambrice's CM kernel and my home button patch.
Code:
Ver 2.0
Using ambrice's CM kernel Beta 1. This fixed the vibration problem.
-- I'v tested it on CM9 beta 1(Let's just call it beta 1) and my own MIUI based on
CM9 alpha and it works great. The only problem is when you press menu and
back, it won't have vibration. But i don't think it is the kernel's matter.;)
Ver 1.0
Original package.
ambrice's CM kernel Alpha 2.
noisyfox's home button patch for INTL.
Awesome!
I will try this when i get my device

Thank you noisyfox and of course, JackpotCalvin & the team working on the ICS port!
I used noisyfox's Unofficial Kernel & Home button patch and followed this proceedure:
Booted into CWM, was using a ROM with rumirand's R13 kernel.
Backed up my device using CWM [optional].
Applied noisyfox's patch, I applied this first to ensure the kernel I was using for ICS would match the kernel that was active during the install. No idea if this step makes a difference, it was pre-emptive.
Installed ICS using JackpotCalvin's instructions here. Followed by installation of gapps using gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip as described by JackpotCalvin.
Installed once again, noisyfox's patch. This ensured not only that I was on the right kernel, but also patched ICS for working home button.
Now, I have a working YP-G70 with ICS!! Thank you so much guys.

You don't need to install the patch before you install CM9. Anyhow, thanks and congratulate.

I only know that they are working on it. I don't know any other details about CM9 because they seems haven't put their source code on github...

What is the difference between rumirands and abrice's kernel? Except that it may solve the vibration problem.

You can't boot into CM or MIUI using rj's kernel.
I used your version 1 with the CM9 ROM Here and it booted up OK but the physical home key did not work. I just installed your version 2 kernel on the ROM and now my home key works as it did back on the pre alpha CM9. Thanks!!!
I haven't noticed any vibration working but I haven't tried to much yet.

But i have vibration in my miui. And i haven't tested the cm9 beta 1. I will test it as soon as possible.
OK. I've tested it on that rom and it works well. I have vibration when i press the app icon and it looks fine. I don't know what's happened to your device but maybe you should flash the patch again.
Yep, That worked. I reflashed the kernel and now vibration is working. Thanks again!
Whats is the difference between the first release. To the second release?

So, I flashed your signed version and could not get the vibration to work. I flashed it 4 time and no go. Then I flashed your unsigned one and the vibration is working for unlocking and typing...
Hi
i got a vibrant that i installed Cm9 Nightly 04/18/2012 and i want to fix the bug of the gps that if you turn it on and then after a while you disconnect the gps its still drains the battery like the GPS was on.
i heard if you update the kernel to Subzero release 70 it will fix this problem.
my question is : does anyone tried to install Subzero kernel in this cm9 nightly rom and can tell me if there are any bugs with it or lags or anything else i should know that the stock kernel didnt do?
thanks
Lior

Subzero's kernel is sweet.
Been running it for about a week or two - everything is awesome.
Hi to all... still no way to make camera working: tried with standard and Vignette, with no luck.
Unfortunately I cannot post in the ROM's thread due to few messages and the "camera fix" make the phone loop during the bootstrap.
Anyone did it work?
Thanks in advance.
Try Oodies rom
Try using oodie's version, it may be outdated but almost all of the features for a rom which is suitable for daily use is working perfectly!
Thanks! Btw I'm experiencing a too fast battery draining...
Hmmm. It may be due to your overclocking too much. Try lowering your max frequency.

For miui V$ simply appliying the patch won't do I believe but ronak was already working on a version with camera so maybe soon
And the patch is somewhere in the fxp thread if you use search in the thread you will find it soon enough. But to be quicker it is on page 103 of the thread.

whether the kernel in MIUI works
nope man
i have to patch it
will do it if time permits
How much is the maximum cpu frequency with this kernel?
actually i recommend using max 1075 mhz
with any of your fav govrnor
kernel has so many tweaks so no OC is needed actually
Ok, waiting for a MIUI version of this kernel; thank you!

Did you replace the dhd.ko file by renaming it from dhd.ko.txt to dhd.ko?
may be due to the changes in dsconfig
as n0p hasnt commit new changes to git
lets see if i can solve dis ASAP
