Hi!
I need some help. I've been creating my first MIUI based ICS ROM for Xperia neo. It works pretty well, almost everything is done.
But I got stuck on a problem regarding the keyboard. I could put in, it appears when it has to.
Writing, changing panel, autocorrect and QWERTY keyboard (landscape and portrait) also works perfectly but when I tap on smileys the app suddenly stop working.
The following are already installed in system folder: sytem/app: textinput-tng.apk
sytem/lib: libXT9Engine.so
sytem/usr: lotof xt9.ldb file (33 pieces) Does anybody know what else I should install?
If you know what I've missed, please help. Thanks in advance.

which phone do you have? Because if you mean for "theme" a file for Themechooser (.apk) in this forum there are some different, that works welll (you can have icons, menù, appearance like xperia S style) and works with minicm7.
I have used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652113
the only bug is if you installed only the theme apk (like I'm) that on AlarmClock visualization disappear some part of visualization. This is the only bug that I have found.
I hope that helps.
Check this out! Its Xperia S theme. Not fully compatible to U20i LDPI yet but you can still check it out (subscribe the thread for updates)
Hello everyone
A couple of days ago, I installed CM 9.1 on my rooted Xperia mini pro. So far so good, except that the hardware/slide-out keyboard isn't working properly. I have a danish layout (QWERTY with special letters Æ, Ø, Å), and the special letters doesn't work. Neither does the blue key, nor the "sym" key or the shift/caps-lock key. I tried to install a minor fix via a zip-file in the recovery-boot, but it seems like i just made it worse. Anyone who knows a solution to this?
Regards
Christian
PS. Has anyone tried to install the CM 10 on the xperia mini pro?
Bump
How did you change the keyboard layout. There should be an option in the settings. :good:
Sym key isn't working in non stock based roms

The link you gave me did unfortunately not work - the keyboard-layout just sticks the same...
The fix i tried before, was to install the layout form a Xperia Pro, by which it seems to have done things worse.
I made this ROM for my Xperia P device in this thread below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889581
Some users reported that it can also be installed on Sola and working fine. Not so surprising though as build.prop is modified not overwritten and most stuff I added are stuff from T/V so it's quite possible. I don't have devices on hand to test myself besides Xperia P so let me know what works and broken there so I can try fixing it to make it more generalized.
Very promising ROM
Appearantly it works on Xperia U and should also work on Sola/Go too for any 6.1.1.B.1.x stock ROM. Make sure you prepare root/busybox/init.d before flashing this ROM.

Hello Windows X,
Thanks for your job, I have tested Fidelity VX 7 and8 and it's great !
I just have one weird problem with the 8.0 version, I'm not able to connect to internet through 3G/3G+ unless I ask to the phone to search and download MMS and Internet configuration ( in setup ) each time I boot the phone.
Sorry for my poor english if you have trouble to understand.
It probably has something to do with partial working JB files. I hope next release will solve those problems.
Version 9.0 was released btw and v10 with Xperia Z files is in development.

Hi
I have Xperia Mini Pro . When I hold shift key and press one of the buttons, for exaple rather than it type sign ! , the @ sign is typed . at ICS ROMs this problem is solved by this post. But in the other roms such as JB , miui , Cyanogen Mod & ither roms I do not know how to solve this problem. Please help me.
Are you on CM 10 official ..???
If yes then there might be no fix (Might be not sure just google and find it).
Either flash CM 10 based custom ROM so that the DEVS will provide you with the DEV files for your phone .(i.e- Dev files for mini pro etc.)
you just need to flash them in CWM.
This will probably fix your prob.
Hit thanks if i helped
