describe "errors out" plz...
when I click the "update" button, The phone reboots, and goes to the bootloader. I hear the USB disconnect sound...
Than the upgraders screen changes and gives me a "ERROR [206]: Update Error" AND SAID IT CAN'T CONNECT TO THE PHONE.
Gromet
Try the "safe flashing" best practices:
hermes directly usb connected to rear usb port on pc. no usb hubs allowed.
computer running winxp pro
close open apps
turn off any pc powersave mode
disable screensaver
I'm running Vista...
known issues there. I'd do some forum searching on it to find out more.
So than it's not something to do with bootloader 1.06... I thought maybe that was the issue, you think it's a Vista issue...
If you are supercid, bootloader version shouldn't matter. They can all flash in nbh...

HTC Mozart 7 : Available update: HTC Update for Windows Phone (from 7.0.7392)

I have a HTC Mozart 7, ROM Asia, jailbreak with chevronwp7, and upgraded sd-card to 32 GB, used in Thailand, and updated to the last 7.0.7392. Today, 23/07/2011, when I pluged it into my PC and run the Zune. it's ask me for update from HTC. After, I finished the update, my firmware still be 7.0.7392. I can't see anything different from the previous usage. But, I can notice that the change is concern about version of software for HTC itself in settings->about menu.
Before:
Firmware revision number: 2250.09.12902.707
Radio software version: 5.51.09.06_22.30.50.09U
Bootloader version: 1.26.2250.1(111641)
After:
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.13301.707
Radio software version: 5.65.09.25_22.45.50.21U
Bootloader version: 1.33.2250.1(123643)
** and I still can use Tom XAP, Application Deployment, or XAPDeployX to install any .xap file as normal jailbreak as same as before doing the update.
anyone has noticed another changing?
The 7.0.7392 is the WP7 OS version.
These updates have been rolling to several WP7 phones and updates hardware drivers that communicate with the OS itself, improving several general aspects but it does not include any OS update.
Yep. I think so. The Update from HTC is only for update its software/driver version.
has anyone with T-Mobile Germany HTC Mozart original or flashed HTC Europe recieved this yet?
probelm with my new mozart 7

can you enter to boot loader menu? by pressing volume down (-) and press the power button. (two button togetter, until it open) if you can see the boot loader screen. (colorfull). I think you can find the Mozart ROM and re-flash it again follow your location.

[Q] HTC Mozart spl 4.6 NoDO Update

Evening guys,
I have been reading a lot of threads regarding the Mozart and more particularly SPL 4.6 because I want to flash Deepshining.
I am now more confused than anything. NoDo flash/Y Cable...
So here is my phone build:
carrier orange uk
7.10.7740.16 soft
2250.21.40600.061 firmware
0004 hardware revision
5.69.09.05a radio software
A.102.0.D4 radio hradware
4.6.2250.0 boot loader
4.06.061.00 rom version
spl-4.6.2250.0 (129193) MNG
PD67100
And my question is can I flash a Nodo to downgrade the spl.
(RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.30.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50U_NoDo_by_ansar)
Also is normal if when I run the rom update utility the "from version" field is blank
I hope you can help.
Thanks!
now have 1.22 but rspl not loading
Hi Finally tried and now have spl 1.22
I lashed this rom
RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.22.061.10_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U_by_ansar
but now I can't manage to load rspl. The phone does not reboot automatically.
If you have any ideas...
Thanks
I sorted it!
I flash again using a different rom to get a different spl.
I then was able to load rspl.
I now have Deepshining
Hi can you give me brief details of exactly what you did please as i would like to do the same with my orange branded phone please.
regards
solution
Yep mate no problem
I first flashed my phone with a nodo rom
download and launch the exe shutdown your phone restart and hold “Volume Down” button during reset to enter OSPL mode....
located in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=915827
in the middle of the page ou get this link from ansar
http://rapidshare.com/files/454244797/RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.24.061.35_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U_by_ansar.zip
I fisrt tried version 1.22 but for some reason it would not allow the next step which is loading rspl and hspl the thread with the tools and tutorial is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647
Reset your device and hold “Volume Down” button during reset to enter OSPL mode.
you first launch rspl it then restart the phone and you can load hspl. your boot should change to hspl 1.24....
with hspl you can now flash with any custom rom / unbranded rom.
Don't hesitate to ask me more If any doubt. You don't want to end up with a brick
\m/
question
one thing what is your bootloader version/spl version
as mine was 4.6.2250.0
the way of doing differs depending on that
If it is 4.x you can do like me I am not sure about 5.x and above anymore
thank you very much for the guide....very much appreciated. i hope now that i can load a custom ROM on my fone without bricking it!!
Details of my fone are:
OS vs:7.10.7740.16
Firmware rs: 2250.21.40600.061
Hardware rs:0004
Radio sfware:5.69.09.05A_22.50.50.21U
Radio hdware: a.102.0.d4
Boot lder: 4.6.2250.0
i'll download the bits now and give it a go 2moro.
many thanks
Thankyou very much for the guide....I now have a custom rom installed on my fone with the tango update. Cant believe how easy it was....when you know how that is!
Thanks again much appreciated. and if anyone else asks the question in the future i'll gladdly point them to this post.

Orange Unbrand Help
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to un-brand and custom flash my ROM so to release the tethering feature on the Mozart 7. I'm pretty new to flashing WP7 handsets so would really appreciate your advice and guidance.
Details:
(across red banner it reads Security Unlocked)
PD67100 SS-BC (4K)
SPL-4.6.2250.0
TOUCH C1(v66)
OS Version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware Number: 2250.21.40600.061
I'm currently downloading the following ROM following your instructions above;
RUU_Mozart_Orange_UK_1.24.061.35_Radio_5.50.09.18_22.24.50.09U_by_ansar.zip
Once this has completed I guess i run the update utility in the zip to flash the Mozart and run through the DFT HSPL RSPL WP7F3 tutorial you mentioned above however I'm confused on the next steps as I then want to update to Mango so do I need to re-flash with a custom ROM (unbranded) to will enable tethering, do you guys have any recommendations?
I downloaded this RUU_Mozart_HTC_Europe_1.30.401.01_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50_RELEASE however I'm not sure if this is right!!
worried I might brick my phone

[Q] 7.10.8112.7 failure. Continually Rebooting. Phone not working

I had a reliable debranded Mozart which has been unlocked by Orange in the UK and was running the ansar rom. It has accepted many updates in the post (post debranding) via Zune.
Unfortunately the 7.10.8112.7 update was problematic with error codes C1010007 and then C101002E.
I am left with a useless phone. I have done a factory reset to no avail.
The phone will boot into wp7.5 and sometimes holds for a few minutes before rebooting. Other times it gets into a loop while booting and ends up vibrating 7 times.
Any ideas anyone?
Is a fresh rom likely to help and if so which one?
I am currently showing:
OS 7.10.8107.79
Firmware 2250.21.51201.401
HW Rev 0004
SPL 5.12.2250.1
Thanks in advance
An Update
I have now dne a successful factory reset. Achieved this by leaving the battery out over night. I have been here before and am pretty sure that I will struggle to apply the above update.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Like many other Users of that fu**ed Phone !
Iv got 2 of that Mozarts, one with the reboot and second without.
Its a Hardware Problem. Both Phones have the same ROM , changing Batteries ,changing SDCard, no Matter
it stays; the first reboots , the second never...
Update on Rebooting
Here is an update of my rebooting issue:
Following a factory reset (battery left out overnight) the phone is not longer rebooting PROVIDED THAT ID DO NOT CONNECT TO A WIRELESS NETWORK OR ATTEMPT TO APPLY AN UPDATE VAI ZUNE.
I am also able to get into the bootloader (spl5.12.2250.1) and establish a USB connection.
I do not want to mess with rolling back the bootloader as that seems to be a very high risk undertaking.
My suspicion is that a fresh rom installation may sort the problem as it only appeared after applying an update.
So can anyone suggest options for updating to a new reliable rom which will not consume excessive battery life - or at least point me in the right direction for one which is compatible with my current spl.
Thanks in advance.

Dear,
It seems that during update you phone might have low battery or update is interrupted.
You can install offical rom containing 201 search in file factory.
Otherwise go with the below, but you will need to downgrade your spl which is a lengthy process.

Update to my last update
Thanks for your reply adeebulrehman
1. In your opinion, what are the merits of each of the two roms you suggest?
2. Can you suggest where I download the official rom safely?
3. Can you point me in the right direction for some safe and reliable spl downgrade instructions?
Many thanks

[Q] HTC Radar HSPL2.5 F400 error

Please Help ! I read lots of pages in forum, but can't find what I'm doing wrong. I want to get HSPL working to able to instal custom ROM to use Nokia apps, witch are way better than HTC and Marketplace apps.
Phone, HTC Radar 4G T-Mobile US
Windows Phone 7.8 (pushed on update with seveneight tool)
OS Version 7.10.8858.136
Firmware vers. 1600.2200.20402.531
Hardware revision: 0002
Radio vers. 16.23.05.13_16.30.00.23U
Radio hardware vers. 2.16.0.D4
Bootloader vers. 2.5.160015.3(137079)
Here is what I did, I flashed using Goldcardtool with Y-cable, OMEGIMG.nbh. I think flash did not finished properly, it went too fast, phone rebooted to SPL , plugged in to PC used DFT_HSPL_WP7SG1_INSTALL, install finished OK , but when I boot up to HSPL mode it does NOT connect to PC.
(Using ROMUpdateUtility getting connection error (260))
Here is how my screen looks in HSPL mode;
PI06110
HSPL2.5 1600.3(137079)
eMMC SMS 7376,FA31
CotullaH(F:80,ID:10,V20,B:AA)
Radio-16.23.05.13_2
F400
Please Help, what I'm doing wrong ? Why my HSPL have F400 error ?
Thank You so much !
Problem fixed. After HSPL install needed second time boot to USB Host mode and this time radio installed correctly. All good now, time for custom ROM
