I saw this on my touch pad before, where wifi stays in the endless scan->connect loop. This is not that bad, but I have to open the wifi setting page for the phone to connect. Even though it is a remembered network, the phone simply cannot connect to it by its own. This is not an issue with the stock rom.
Once it is connected, it stays connected for a good long time, though I have changed the sleep policy to never, it still stops being connected after couple of hours, just as the stock rom. Just installed the "wake my droid" app, let's see how that works.
Other than that, the rom is fairly snappy, though still not as good as my droid incredible 2 (damn, HTC did a good job with worse hw; or moto is that bad). Google play FC twice in the past day.
I am waiting for the next UD as I also had worse WiFi than the older ver.
For RC1, everything is better for me
I never had a dialer issue but did have wifi issue with Rc0.
Installed over RC0.
Staying stock Cm7, noticed more problems with w/ CM7 mashup installed.
FROM MY MB870 W/ CM7.2 RC1

Anyway to get Chrome To Phone working? It doesn't show up in my market, and copying the apk from my phone to my nook gives me a parsing error when I try to install it
Don't see how you'll get C2P working since you dont have a cell # available on your nook.
I don't think C2P uses your cell num but your googe account so i think it should work over wifi shouldn't it?
Try linkpush. Its pretty awesome
Chrome to phone is 2.2 only
cainhunpi, thanks for the pointer to linkpush. It's a good alternative (at least until whatever issue with chrome to phone is solved).
C2P is working fine on latest CM7 (and has been). Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it takes 5 mins, but it always gets there
I have Chrome 2 Phone in CM7 - 37 nightly. It is working fine. Sometimes there is a delay.
Has always been "working" for me, although I rarely use it because of the annoying delays.
I got my gTab on Wednesday and so far I am very happy. I played with the 3588 stock ROM for a day and got a lot of force closes, so I switched to TNTLite 4.4.0. I initially had some FCs with that too, but after switching to Launcher Pro and Dolphin and doing the step 6-7 of the market fix it seems to be settling in.
My problem is that when I bring the gTab out of standby I sometimes have to turn the WiFi off and then back on in order to get a usable connection. It comes out of standby and says it's connected, but I will get nothing but 404s until I power cycle the WiFi. It doesn't do this all time, but it's enough to be annoying. I use a WPA2-PSK network with AES encryption. Any ideas?
Happens to me too. I'm thinking that disabling wifi on sleep might work for me. Depends on how fast it comes back on at wake.

I've disabled this and it is still iffy for me whether it comes back automatically or not. I've taken to just cycling the wifi every time. having a widget helps with this.
I'm having the same issue too. I'm running the Vegan Rom 5.1.1 and after waking from sleep wifi shows connected but I can't use any wifi resources until I kill wifi and then restart it. Then all is well ???
I switched from TNT Lite 4.4 yesterday to Vegan 5.1.1 and I am still having the same issue. Any ideas?
I installed Eclipse 0.5 on my DX2 earlier this week and initially things have been great. The ROM is super stable and everything works, except for wifi. When I go to turn on Wifi it goes through the Turning On stage and then appears to be on. But when I go into the Wi-Fi settings page no networks are listed. And after about 30 seconds the Wifi turns itself off. There is no error displayed, and it does this regardless of where I am. I've tried it at home, at work, and in public so it doesn't seem like it's a router issue. Any ideas?
This is no help, but I haven't had this issue. I'm sure someone will know what's up...
So I'm rooted and have the latest/corrected 3.2 with pershoot's OC kernel...and nothing else. I noticed when I wake up my tab sometimes it will reconnect the WiFi sometimes it won't. Not sure why it's spotty. Before it used to reconnect almost instantaneously every time without fail. Is there a fix for this? Am I missing something?
I've got the same problem.
Nevertheless, the wifi code is store and don't ask for it
same problem
Ditto. I've resorted to just leaving it in the "always stay connected" mode even when the screen is off. Eats a bit more battery, but at least I don't have to toggle wifi every time I turn it on.
I've got the same problem on a brand new Tab 10.1N (special version for germany) WIFI edition. The tab came with Android 3.2 stock installed. First i thought it is my wlan ap which is causing the problem but it happens also on 2-3 other aps i've tried. I find this very annoying, especially on this high priced device... hopefully there will be a bugfix release soon.
So I did find out what the issue was for me. It was the Ad Free app. For some reason everytime I woke my Tab up, if the Ad Free message didn't come up neither did WiFi. When it did come up, WiFi would auto turn on again. So I removed this stupid thing and voila problem is resolved. Not sure if it'll work for others b/c like I said I'm rooted and Ad Free is a rooted app. Good luck though!

I have the same problem. Remove Ad Free, but the problem remains
Since I've had my note 2 for about 2 weeks now, when I'm connected to WIFI (b/g/n at both work and home) at random times when I start You Tube I will get a really long load time (Circle chasing itself) the video will play eventually then at random times it will stop and try to buffer. This happens in either landscape or portrait mode. When I turn off WIFI and use LTE I have no problems. I've stopped the You Tube application and relaunched it same problem. I've paused and it wont buffer. I've started and then stopped and launched it again. It normally takes a good 2-3 times of starting and stopping before I'm able to watch something off my feed. Then at any point after that the problem might pop up again.
I've used my old phone a My touch 4g and 2 IPhone 4s and neither of them have the problem.
I thought the problem might be something strange in the stock rom. So I rooted and installed CleanRom ACE 4.0.5. Problem still occurring. I tried WIFI Fix and checked the status of the the router/restarted etc.. WIFI settings are: Keep WIFI on during sleep: Always
Not sure if maybe I got a bad phone or what.. any one have any idea's?
