You can't get the program to run on your pc? You can't connect your phone? What exactly can't you do? And it would help if you tell us what you've done so far. And which guide are you following?

Hi there ilovechi23. That isn't an executable file.
Did you burn the ISO file directly to the CD or did you use an image burner to burn the ISO to the CD? The easiest way to tell is to insert the CD. Open it up. If you see a single .ISO file on there, you haven't burned it correctly.
If you see multiple files -- a core.gz file, vmlinuz file, and an isolinux folder, it's been burned correctly. You may have to check your BIOS boot order and make sure that the CD-ROM drive is set at a higher boot priority than your other devices.
In post #3 of the Toolkit thread (link in my signature), there are instructions for properly burning the ISO to the CD.

Now it seems bricked! I get "ERROR[152]: IMAGE UPDATE ERROR" at end of the update or get interupted at 92% with such report. Can't power up into recovery etc. Just get 4 signs in all corners and HTC symbol in the middle. What did i do wrong from jump? I previously had Virtuous Shooter installed. Again, I am a newbie!! Do i have to download the Euro RUU now to get it back to normal, since i prolly didn't give the phone a full wipe, perhaps, but i'm sure i did. Any help will do!! Thanks in advance

USB device not recognized

Hi Guy's would appreciate some help if possible.
My computers suddenly won't recognize my phone I have tried installing drivers changing roms kernels and as a last resort returning to stock but nothing worked
So after all that found out it's the USB port on the phone that's loose.
My problem is that I've lost root and without USB is there anyway that I can re root my phone?

You have the zip your trying to flash from hboot named incorrect. It should be PG86IMG.zip not pg18img.zip
Try renaming the zip and the flashing it to see if it will help.

The easiest way to do it is to download the correct ruu from the stickies in the dev section plug your phone in and run the ruu this will reinstall your stock Rom but will take you to .007 once you have done that come back will tell u best s off way so you can go back to stock without breaking ur warranty

everything worked fine till the last step.. flashing the PC86IMG.zip it writes this:
SD checking...
Loading...[PG86DIAG.zip]
No image!
Loading...[PG86DIAG.nbh]
No image or wrong image!
Loading...[PG86IMG.zip]
wrong zipped image!
and then a couple of "No image!" quickly..
and nothing happens... It's still hboot 1.49.0018 from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using XDA

If you typed that command while already s-off, then yes you are bricked. Windows recognizing your phone as qhs USB_download mode is another sign of Proof. Your only option is to use the ultimate recovery tool from: unknownforce or the other unbricking method that you've already tried. If your PC can't handle a Linux distro, you need to find another PC. I've used both methods and they work flawlessly.
Good luck
