I am often and randomly getting a "sync not allowed" message in the bottom center of my screen. (the same place where usb connection, etc. messages would show up as well) This happened after I upgraded to the leaked ICS RUU. I have never installed a rom. My phone is S-OFF and ENG-on. I have noticed that when I started my phone it wont download weather information for widgets until I open up the weather application itself. This is the case for other data requiring widgets as well. The message persists regardless of wheter I am using data or wifi. I never got this message before i upgraded to ICS from my telus htc amaze. The error message will show up randomly, sometimes when im on my homescreen, sometimes when I am on the internet. My "sync" on my phone is turned on as well. Any solutions?

[SOLVED] Sync not Allowed on T-Mobile Phones
It's the T-Mobile "MobileLife Contacts" app. that it running on a non T-Mobile phone.

It will eat up your battery "trying" to sync, and very annoying if you try and watch a YouTube video on the phone. So I backed it up, saved the backup to my PC too, then deleted it with Titanium Backup. You can also Freeze it if you've got the Pro version of TB...

English (Google Translator): Hi, Sorry but first of all. Do not speak English. : ( But I need the help of this great community of developers.
My problem is this, I have an Optimus One P500, brought android originally wanted to upgrade to 2.2.1 and 2.3.3. Check all the options of the forum and I decided to root using the method GingerBreak the rooteo runs without any apparent error, but to my surprise when you restart your phone is Emergency Mode (yellow screen), I thought instantly that I had bricked, remove the battery and left it like 10min, then place it back and turned on the computer, strangely lit correctly, did not show emergency mode. Again I thought it had already been solved, but when
you turn off the computer again returned to the screen yellow emergency mode, the strange thing is that by removing the battery 10min and starts back up if the right way.
But because it's annoying that every time you turn it off need to do
this (remove the battery and such) because I decided to follow the methods desbrickeo who are here in the forum, flashing a ROM format 2.3.3. Kdz smoothly , then do factory reset (wipe) the data necessary to eliminate the previous ROM and the phone lit correctly, but off and on again to find the screen yellow emergency mode again, no change, wait 10 minutes and starts normally.
The situation is tired and annoyed me, so I turn to you, help you regain normal operation.

Hi ,writing in simple English as possible for you to understand ..
I had/have this same problem ..meaning the phone when restarted would go into emergency mode ..like always after it being earlier connected to pc.
well after doing all sorts of bells and whistles ,I found out that the culprit is sd-card due to improper partitioning etc.. and just replacing the sd-card solves this highly irritating problem .. Hope this helps ya !
Thanks for your answers. The solution to bring it to technical service is the one used, I have flashed from "kdz" the official ROM from my operator, without root and no custom recovery. Tomorrow I'm taking, how sad is having these problems with a team of good behavior like this. A greeting.
Puse la STOCKfied_1.3.5_Multilenguaje, y luego reloj reset y cuando voy hacer una actividad me dice que gps bien, me sale el contador 3,2,1 y luego error.
Unfortunately, gpx-recorder has stopped.
¿De que puede ser?
Gracias
Unfortunately, I can not help. I'm just saying the language of the forum is English.

I have installed SCRIPT FLASH AMAZFIT A1602 & A1612 AND FIX UPDATE 1.3. 1n, I paired the clock then install via OTA Original 1.3.5 update, then I desemparejo the clock with the phone and install Instalador_v1.2_STOCKfied_1.3.5_Multilenguaje and without matching MODs_ & _ TWEAKs_v1.1.
And after installing paired clock and everything perfect.
Luck.

If you have an issue with any Rom, just post on its thread, or even better if you don't speak English to check this: http://www.htcmania.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2281
Hello guys, After 1 week using my new phone with my company (WOM chile) my 4g stopped working correctly ( slow, no signal, etc ) I restored my phone to factory settings, change the micro sim, speak with my company but the problem still persists.
I tested my 4g signal with an app "OpenSignal" it says that my network is "celular" in the speed test. testing it with a friend's phone ( Galaxy s7, same company) it says "wom network" and excellent speeds
My firmware is at G9650ZHU2ARC6, product code is g9650zajcho
is there a way to "reset, doing a fresh install" to the phone? like a flash to the modem, rom ? where can i find the correct files to do it with odin? maybe i can fix it that way
thanks
pd:sorry for my english

I've had my Pixel 6 for a little over 3 weeks now and everything was working perfectly with it however, a few days ago (Friday) I opened up an app and the screen suddenly froze. Couldn't interact with anything and holding the power button didn't do anything. I rebooted into recovery by holding power + volume up however, my phone ended up repeatedly boot-looping and saying my "Android system was corrupt". I had to factory reset everything and go through the entire set up process again. I am very confused as I haven't rooted my phone or changed any aspect of it in that way, and my phone has always been on me so no one else had physical access to it.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Your forced shutdown may have resulted in a corrupt filesystem. Its rare, but happens. Or, the problem you were experiencing prior to forcing it down could have been hardware failure.

I'll keep that in mind and hopefully it doesn't occur again. Everything is running normally after the factory reset. Thankfully almost all of my data is backed up regularly.

Hello, I have a little x3gt and since I bought it I can't connect to a 5ghz Wi-Fi network (They don't appear to me). My Wi-Fi is capable of doing it, I have other cell phones at home that can connect, but for some reason the Wi-Fi assistant does not work. I also noticed that wifi is much slower on this device. The device came with miui 12 and Android 11 and I didn't get any 5ghz network either, I updated it to miui 13.0.4 and Android 12 and it doesn't work either.
I saw in videos that changing the region of the device might work, I tried it and it didn't work either. Somebody could help me?
"Make sure your wifi ID is set to visible"
When this phone is out of box (or after flashing new rom), during the setup, immediately, you will be asked to connect wifi, at this stage, all available wifi will shown up 5G and 2.4 G. for you to select. (regardless it is An11, An12, miui 12.5 or miui 13 etc)
If no 5 G to choose, then I would say it might be hardware problem.
kirinin said:

Sorry, my question is: What exactly do I have to do? Do I have to factory reset my device? I was told that I have to be asked to connect to a Wi-Fi network but I don't know how to get them to ask me for such a network.

Yes, just do a factory reset. your phone will be like a brand new out of box set.
(back up all your data first, all data will be erased)
Switch power on, follow the screen, set country, language region... after few more step your wifi connect will be shown up and let you to select. at this stage, you will see all available wifi connections (all 2.4G and 5G wifi).
