is a Rom (v16.5) really beautiful but I get always the same error wifi error .... I tried the pach doomKernel and its module wifi but nothing ....
I can try to flash the wifi module (Rom or Stock Kernel). If someone can give me the wifi module I would be gratefu!!!
if not you have any ideas to fix it?

I resolved it :
1) flash DoomKernel v06 and module wifi
2) flash Rom Feralab v18
now my wifi is active

mate no problem, do you have flash the kernel v06 from doom?
flash the wifi modules from it to through cwm or xrecovery to and its gonna be alright

I have a little problem with my St15i running Octeane v5 rom on Lupus v5 Kernel.
The Wifi doesn't turn on now, only "turning wifi on" is in the settings showing.
I'm sure I had nothing flashed before and I think the problem is the MAC address.
In Settings in Phone Status the Wlan Mac are "Not available"
Hope you can help me and understand this

hey there, about "In Settings in Phone Status the Wlan Mac are Not available", that is normal. it will appear when you turn on your wifi. did you try to flash another kernel?
Thanks with other kernel wifi works now, but the internet connection crash if I connect with my St15i but this is a router problem

In lupus v5, try rebooting twice
If didnt work, try reset in lupus menu and then reboot.will work

Next time read the op of the kernel u install
Goto terminal emulator and type: su
then type. sh lupus.
Ull know wat to do next

I've installed Jelly Vanilla Z 6.1 on FXP213 cm10 20130329 UNOFFICIAL smultron and WiFi won't turn on. Just screen ''Turning Wi-Fi on...''. What can I do to fix that?

Problem is still there. I've installed same kernel again and sd card was damaged, after that I make backup and formatting and install cm10xtended by Hikari and flash modules. An my card again damaged and Wi-Fi won't work and I don't know what else to do. I think if I flash another kernel ( like Lupus) again the problem will still exist. Do you think that the problem is in the JV Z? Please help me! :crying:

You have reflashed stock one (generic firmware from sony) and the problem still persist ?? Seem strange because wlan problem usually found on custom rom / kernel ,
Can your xperia neo connect to wifi hotspot too ?? If not i think it is hardware problem

Hi All,
I am new in this custom ROM field,I just installed Turbo Kernal with Cynogen Mod 10 in my Xperia neo L.
After reviewing the Device i found that my "WIFI Hotspot" is not working.
I Also tried "Lupus kernal" and pacmac ROM.
As it was working with stock Rom so it proves that my hardware is ok.
When i try to start my hotspot it stuck at " Wifi turning on..."
Please help.

For LUPUS kernel try to flash the wifi modules that provided in the thread to fix the wifi problem
And please read the full instruction before flash

after flashing cm9.1 am not able to connect to any network via wifi. It is trying to connect with obtaining ip address but in the end it says avoided poor connection. I've tried the kernel built into cm9.1 and after i've changed it to mesa kernel with no luck. When i firstly flashed coconut 9.1 i used lupus but it seems that the wifi is broken in that kernel. When i flashed the cm's kernel i had wifi on the first boot....
Did you tried reflashing the rom..??
If no then try it Or else i think You are missing on WIFI modules of your kernel.

I cannot say whether it is working or not you must check the kernel thread again.
I think there should be wifi modules in kernel thread , if not present it means its already install in the kernel ramdisk (so no need of wifi modules then).

i ve tried porting arc s roms to my neo l..and replace lib/bin/modules/hw and other files ..the roms are working fine except wifi..facing same problem in each rom!! any solution?
have you tried installing the wifi modules for your kernel?
it may be a kernel issue!
