Being visually impaired I love being able to use high contrast themes as they are far easier on my eyes. That being said, are there any or are there any white text on black background themes out there or in the works?
Is theme creation a complicated process?
Are there guides to creating themes for the Photon or simple software packages to create basic themes? (I'm thinking along the lines of back in the day when there were several Win95 & Win98 theme makers available out there?)
TIA
Mike
I use ADW Launcher with a windows 7 phone theme for nice blacks and whites.

Hey Thanks,
I checked out ADW and it's very nice. I've been using Launcher Pro but might decide to switch but I still need to find a way to invert or make high contrast the settings menu's, contacts, etc. I am using GoSMS Pro to handle SMS/MMS and Black FB and Inverted G+.
anyone currently running a really nice MIUI theme worth sharing?
if so post to this forum.
much appreciated.

you can easily chage your theme by flashing a miui-rom
I like theme that is clear and simple.
Bit hard to get a proper answer to this, what one peron thinks is good others will not like.

Hi guys. I've just got a new Defy and have rooted, flashed WajkIUI 2.1.6 ICS and selected the above Theme. Is there any reason that I wouldn't get the clock and wallpaper, because I can't see them anywhere.
Thanks D
As you can see in the scree shot my screen is using dark greys and blue and the icons and the Google bar are ever so slightly transparent. However the Facebook widget screws things up being that it is bright white.
Is there anyway to change the color of the widget transparency is not such a big issue but color would be nice to change. Is it possible?
Running unnamed 2.2.1 if that matters.

Try using Android Pro Widgets from the Market. That's what I use. Perhaps you can find a theme that might work better with your setup. I've NEVER liked the stock Facebook widget for Android.
Thanks man that actually works well. I can definitely live with this check it out now!!!!

I know that when you try to go to "get themes" option it takes you to a blank play store page. There is a theme template and I'm wondering if any of know of, have, or can make a theme, that preferably isn't so white.
Thanks
They have a google music theme on their site:
http://www.seeingpixels.org/2012/05/apollo.html
You can probably just download the template from there too.
Google music may not be the best theme, but it is definitely much darker and blends with the ICS theme better. Thanks. =]

I see the black theme now. It just came out today. It is pretty much an ics theme, black with that ics blue color. But sadly it doesn't theme the widget so that's still white.

So.. I've always been a fan of dark themes but, every since about android 2.3 when the nexus s came out and dark themes were adopted on a wide scale to help the Samoled battery life... I've grown tired of them.
Now that I have a phone that can display a fuller more gorgeous spectrum, one grown tired of almost all default themes being dark when they don't need to be.
Are there are themes in the market that are closer to the stock lg? Or even better a cyan Holo theme that's white and cyan? Help would be appreciated. Android can be more than dark and moody XD
Heck even a brown esque light steampunk theme (bioshock infinite like) would be cool. It just seems most themes are dark oriented.
