I've been using cm7 for about a week now and when I got up this morning I didn't have 3g ...I thought nothing of it until I didn't come back. It's been an hour and my 3g hasn't come back on yet. Any solutions? I haven't done anything else to this phone but flash that ROM...

Im having problem with dropped calls every 2 minutes or so my phone call will just end anyone else having the same problem? im gonna go back to the orange rom see if it stops the issue. Ive tryed updating my radio to the latest modded kasier rom and then tryed the latest orginal Nike rom.

Lol. Im in the UK on bloody Orange they have bad signal pretty much everywhere i get like mostly 2 bars of 2G. Thanks alot for your folder btw its a great help!

Hi there. I hope that some dev will see this and probably got an idea of what is going wrong with my Sensation. At one day, some weeks ago, I went to work in the morning and switched off my wifi for this time. As I got back home I tried to switch it back on, but it only says activating for something around 20 secs and then says fault. I tried nearly everything like restoring a backup, cleaning everything but nothing helped. For the possibility of an exchange trough my carrier I unrooted, switched to s-on + original ruu. It didnt helped. As they said that it would take time over the weekend, I thought that I wont get out without "my" phone.. So I rerouted, switched s-off and restored my backup. And TADA, my wifi was working again.. But after Updating the Rom, HyperSansation, to the last release v0,8 it broke down the wifi again. :`( Hmmm... I have repeated the whole process again and it worked again. Even with trying a new Rom. But as I came home from work today, the fault was back...
Can anybody help me out of this case?

Let me get this straight... Are you saying that everytime you use a rom (other than your backup), then your wifi stops working?
No. Yesterday I had problems with random reeboots and switched to Slick2x Rom and it went on working.. But since I´m at home today its over..
my phone is constantly getting stuck in airplane mode without me switching it. possible i might have messed with a setting. it does it after times of no use. simple fix is to reset and its back to normal. wondering if anyone else has same problem and a permanent fix. this happened about 5 times since receiving it yesterday afternoon.

back at my house last night and this morning doing it again. im thinking im losing signal and when it comes back on not connect to 4g signal. i have had signal issues in the past with other phones guess this should be so diffrent. and the work around continues.
ok so back to work today. great signal area and still happening. going to see if CS samsung or ATT has anything to help me otherwise i'm returning it.
so sad it is a beauty of a device. i read other devices doing this just no one here yet with this problem. someone saying a file maybe corrupt. a stock reset was done to no avail either.
? is ATT going to give me the run around or should i take it in locked and let them fiddle?

I recently (yesterday) updated my S3 to Jelly Bean via Kies. I'm in UK so we kinda got it late.
Since then however, the Wifi is being a right *****. It keeps dropping and then few seconds go by, reconnects, then a minute goes, then repeats the cycle of hell! I've made sure the power saving mode for Wifi is off by dialling #*0011*.
WTF do I do?

Factory reset does not help here. I wipe as a matter of updating the OS (old Windows tech habits) and in-fact it has gotten worse recently. I'd not noticed any problem in the first week but now I see it reconnecting frequently while in use. Often pick it up from the desk to see it wasting my cell data.
It seems to be a known issue, that helps, but not a lot of info so I'll bump this with a reply. Anyone know any more yet? Totally stock system here.

So i have this Wifi problems, connected to a wifi i can surf and then after a few minutes nothing works, cant surf, cant check my mails. i have to reconnect to the wifi and it will work for the next couple of hours...
I googled this and im not the only one with that problem so i tryd to disable the wifi power safe mode via *#0011* but that did not work.... so the next thing i wanted to do is to disable 5ghz suportt on the wifi but i cant do that because im on 4.1.1.
So guys any advice here ? I also tryd to reflash the device but that did not helpd...

I also have this problem after upgrading to Jelly Bean. It completely drops for no apparent reason even though it's still says connected and signal is good. I then need to turn the WiFi off then back on to get it working again. I need help getting this problem fixed as soon as possible or I will end up downgrading back to ICS.

Aaaaaaand its gone... Wifi not working, had to disable and re enable wifi now it works... So the problem is still here this app does not help...
I also tryd to update to the lates version of the Omega Rom, does also not work so im going to downgrade to 4.0.4... and order a iPhone 5 !

Back to the topic, I have the same prob, works after diconnecting/reconnecting, annoying but u get use to it & not that big of a deal IMO, but granted that considering the device's price one shouldn't have to fiddle with it to get that kind of basic option to fully function.

This is a carrier issue that you are experiencing. It can be corrected relatively easy.
If you do not have root access, then root with CF-Root and perform the said modifications and then Un-Root your phone. Simple
Hi, I was running BAMF Sense 5.0 ROM and suddenly wifi stopped working. It just gets stuck at "Turning on Wifi".
I am S-Off and I've tried flashing another kernel but no luck.
Anyone know what's wrong?
Oddly enough this just happened to me earlier today. WiFi wouldn't connect to my home network, but could see all available networks in my area. I tried turning WiFi off and on again, bit would get stuck at "turning on" without actually turning on. My laptop was able to connect just fine.
The problem seemed to fix itself by rebooting my router. Hasn't happened since.

That's not the problem for me. It literally just won't turn on no matter what I do. No restart works, resetting router, flashing kernel. It's really frustrating.

Have you found a solution for this? I can't get wifi to work on any custom rom. but it works fine on stock.

I've not been able to fix it. I since moved onto Lumia 1520, but still want to get my Droid working again. Was thinking maybe buying replacement parts and self-fixing. But looking online, HTC Ones look pretty cheap these days, so may just buy one of those instead. If I'm to repair it myself, I'm not entirely sure where the Wifi is.
Was thinking just buying this, but it is kinda pricey...

I installed official CM11 and everything is working great now.
