I love the clean blue of this theme, specifically the dialer, however I like the over all feel of it. I have no clue how or where to start to port this if it is even possible.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Needs to work for a Froyo ROM, like KaosFroyo v32.

it should be able to to ported, if you go to the main android forums there is this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737526
Quick answer to can it be ported: yes. Your one major obstacle will be that this theme is for a higher resolution phone like the Droid, where they use .9.PNG files. So, if you wanted to give this a shot, I'd suggest starting with this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=737526 , specifically post #69: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7522401&postcount=69 but would recommend giving the thread a quick skim to get the gist of it. Also, if you run that and it doesn't change everything you need, there's a guide on how to make or edit the 9.png files here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=580351
This should get you warmed up at least.

Doh! lol Started writing this an hour ago but got busy at work.
Thanks I will look into it.. I felt it might be a bit challenging due to higher res, etc..
This is NOT a full CM7 distro. This is installed immediately after flashing CM7 in the same manor
Features:
Designed for n98
[*]Modified build.prop for Netflix to fix the chipmunk effect (playing too fast)
Updated keyboard configuration:
Remap volume + and - to menu and back
Changes [shift]+[,] and [shift]+[.] to be < and >
Change the physical keyboard arrow keys to be oriented correctly for landscape.
Also adds support for the zoom (and probably other ipad compatable) keyboards. Home is home, brightness buttons are menu/back. Play plays, FWD and RWD are now volume up and down
NOTE: Changes from previous version is always in bold & underlined!
Installation instructions:
After installing your favorite CM7 rom
After installing Dalingrin's kernel (if you choose)
Install this zipfile in the same way with recovery's install zip from sdcard option!!
Let me know if you have any questions. The only thing in this that is truly mine is the keyboard maps. Everything else is (c) their owners.
NEW VERSION(s): (don't use unless you know what you are doing!)
For CM7 n98
OLD VERSIONS: (don't use unless you REALLY know what you are doing!)

Update: Post-clarification. This isn't a new ROM. It's a mod....
So hey-- forget I said anything. Sorry if I was too harsh... As you were.
fattire said:
People asked for a new boot animation? Okay...
Isn't it easier just to post instructions on any mods you like (or even write a monster update.zip customize pack to make necessary drop-in changes) rather than a whole new rom distro? A new rom means a new thread. new thread means new bug reports posted to the wrong place, etc.
But I mean, hey-- forget I said anything. Sorry if I was too harsh... As you were.

This isn't a "rom" I can remove the tags on the OP if you think it's The Thing to Do(tm).
It's just a few drop-in files. It isn't the entire CM7 rom.
It's made as a zip because it's a folder tree (/system/app, /system/usr, etc) to ADD FILES ONLY to your CM7 rom.
This is not CM7, but a few things combined.
Admittedly, the boot animation and miui were included for me. I made this for my use initially. Miui is the only player I found that can play folders (not just albums/etc.)
People have indeed asked for keyboard layout/bin as well as LWP. I just added the few things I also wanted in and made a zip.
I have to agree with fattire in the sense that this is a Theme, rather than Development, and so this should be in the Themes Forum.
Perhaps a mod agrees ??

Le sigh. This isn't just the boot animation. It also includes my keyboard layout and .bin files to allow CM7 to work with a bluetooth keyboard.
This isn't a theme.
I like it and appreciate your work. I;ve been switching beetween CM7 and Phremod for the exact reasons you said.
THanks for making this easy.

Those are equivalent to apps (just like all the other keyboard apps that have different layouts), and that Forum is the "Themes and Apps Forum".
I am not trying is disparage your work, it sounds great.
I just agree with fattire that we cannot have every different collection of pieces being a different thread in this Forum - it pushes the main Development threads off the main page.
if you don't have anything to contribute to the thread just stay out of it.
Thanks for the hard work!
Yeah really, don't knock it. Its still useful work. Thanks for your contribution, OP!
I do not have a BT keyboard for now.
I appreciate your work. i will use it as soon as i get a BT keyboard, not only ******* RF.
Thanks
I haven't contributed much but updating the latest CM7 build to be dual boot. Everyone who contributes should be thanked and not made to feel like their efforts are for nothing. Anyways that's my 2 cents. LOL
Thanks OP.
I'll have to give this a go later. Can you explain how this "supports" the zoom and other iPad keyboards? I use an apple keyboard and would like to understand.
Thanks to the posters.
It was my understanding that fattire thought this was cm7 plus a boot animation or whatever. This isn't cm7. This is merely the files needed to put LWP back into cm7, the modified files for decent bluetooth keyboard support, and a few things from phiremod that I could pull out so those who like phiremod can use the latest cm7.
Then you said move it to the themes forum. I don't care where it goes, I just wanted to be sure you understood this isn't just a boot animation. This has replacement keyboard layout ascii and binary files to properly support a bluetooth keyboard.
I would like to see the two keyboard files pushed into cm7 and this entire thread is unneeded. Everything else can be had from elsewhere. I can put the miui player, and other stuff up elsewere.

Thank you, Mr chisleu, for your very interesting mod. While I'm not a fan of a harshly limited YouTube I take the liberty to quote this:
Changes [shift]+[,] and [shift]+[.] to be < and >
Also adds support for the zoom (and probably other ipad compatable) keyboards. Home is home, brightness buttons are menu/back. Play plays, FWD and RWD are now volume up and down
Volume up and down buttons (on bluetooth keyboards, and the nook itself) are mapped to back and menu

These are much more important improvements, IMHO. I only hope that people who tried this mod may share their experiences here.
Last thing is my humble personal preferences for a CM7 code or its mod:
-- I think any CM7 release (including nightlies) can have CWR specially tooled for NC, plus with an option to make it into a bootable SD;
-- I think of returning the n17 BT/AdHoc code to a present CM7 code. I know, it takes rebuilding, but it's worth it;
-- I think of a mod supplying Divine_Madcat's I/O improved OC 1.1 GHz kernel to it;
-- CM7 nightlies include a working Gapps install script, maybe chisleu won't be afraid of The GOOG wrath and include Gapps?
-- next I think of USB Host, FM Radio CM7, audio boost devs for NC don't seem to care a lot about, but it's just me, sorry.
Great work, anyway.
I've been wanting something like this that we can flash over any of the latest Cm7 versions with the status bar softkeys (from mad-murdock).
So I just threw one together myself.
This is a CWM zip file that you can flash with clockworkmod and will replace the soft key icons in CM7 with the honeycomb ones.
Thanks to:
The Cm7 Team
Phiredrop for his phiremod cm7 stuff
nfcrockett for uploading the icons from the SDK.
coldboot for inspiration
Please Note: This does not work on the current batch of nightlies, and I will not update this particular mod until there is another cm7 final release.
If you wish to do so yourself, feel free to use the icons from the apk

Install Via CWM - All warnings apply, if it screws something up - not my fault
Worked fine on my nook.
Changelog:
4/18 Gtab/Vega Users update: The Gtab/Vega version should now properly install on Gtabs and the Vega - I have not been able to test this (and the guys in the Gtab IRC were less than helpful) So I need some feedback on this.
4/15 Phiremod Edition:[/B] This should be able to seamlessly flash over phiremod without losing any of his themed elements in the notification bar. Big thanks to phiredrop!
4/13 v1.3: Changed the notification pulldown shade to be darker (less transparent) for people having issues with it.
4/11 v1.2: Made a new search Icon from scratch - let me know what you guys think!
4/11: Top should now be working, I also edited the search button background to match the rest of them. I had forgotten about it, because I dont use it. I'll try to whip up a more honeycomb-esque looking one later.
Feedback is welcome/appreciated. Screenshot attached.
looks good mate. cheers!
It does look really good.
I use status bar on top alot, especially when using nesoid, or when my daughter is playing on it. So if you would like to make a version that changes the icons in both modes, i'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, yeah I'll update it to work on top as well. Should be up later tonight when I get home from work.

Thanks for putting this together. I really liked the HC look. If only the launcher was functional.
Thank you for this. I was planning on digging through the framework folder but this saved me the trouble. They look great. Now if only I could figure out how to change the order of the buttons......

Looks great, but i do see one oddity - the search icon is noticably lighter in background than the rest of the icons.. almost like search was in a selected state. Its not, but it looks a bit wierd. if you could fix that, this would be perfect!

These look great! I'm glad you shared them.
Great job, thanks for making the changes thus far, the icons look really good. I especially like that the icons have no background image and they are just "in" the status bar. It looks alot cleaner that way imho.
Very nice work! I like using the "Cyanabread" theme and having the "green" in the Notification icon kinda throws things off from an aesthetics perspective. I would like to have the icons bigger, like when I was running HC, but that is a CM7 thing, I think.

Thanks.
They can be made bigger. They ended up coming out a little small when I was resizing them. Personally I like them how they are though.
Thanks for this man. I think personally it goes better then the stock buttons, because they look built-in, instead of just literal buttons. No offense to the stock button designer!

It`s called "Glass Effect Suite - Touchpad" and you can find it in WebOS Quick install under "Themes" tab.
I can`t see any differences to standard theme except a ****ty wallpaper with text "muahaha".
Bad joke ?
yeah, I don't see the difference except that it makes the apps window translucent.

It's a simple theme that changes some menu backgrounds, launcher background, and a couple other little tweaks. It's not meant to be a full-fledged theme... Just replaces some rather boring UI elements.

switcheroo lite
switcharoo light on HP market has been my favorite so far. The background changes every 10 15 or 30 minutes not sure on the timing, but every time I turn on my baby, a new background is there and I get that ooooohhh effect, I like that one... Nice change to live or constant background that usually is used. My 2 cents worth. Oh love preware program. Used it to make changes to improve speed etc on touchpad like the internet articles are saying.

Kudos to you for your work!
I loaded it up as soon as I got Preware rocking. I like it a lot, but not all wallpapers look good behind it, when you are in the app drawers. I do wish it had adjustable opacity with a specific base tint maybe.
So I'm installing the themes through WebOSQuickInstall-4.3.0.jar but they never actually change the look of the device. Is there some other way that I should be installing them or activating? (I'm feeling quite stupid here...)
My understanding is there should be a themer link in the Tools dropdown, but see attached for what I'm currently getting. I have v.4.3.0, is this the correct one for the Touchpad?

Push the globe when your TP is connected, then go to "Themes" tab. Searching Touchpad only has the two themes mentioned here though. After you choose to install, make sure to reboot Luna, either via device or Linux commandline option "reboot luna".

Hello,
I love this app for multi-messaging: https://play.google.com/store/apps/....imoim&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
But there's one problem for me and others: The developers don't release a black theme (not even in the latest beta)
This is a feature many people want, especially those with amoled screens.
It would be awesome, if someone could create a black/dark/inverted theme for imo.im
Really no one interested in this?
Yes I am, but unfortunately no developer
You don't need to be a dev to theme an apk.
Rocking cm9.1
also interested
I found this thread from googling for this very thing. Could someone help us out and invert IMO?
Awesome, someone replied! There IS interest in an inverted imo.im app!!!
If it's not that hard to do, zman519, why don't you invert our beloved imo.im app then?
It would be SOOOO AWESOME if someone would just make a dark version of it.
Ok I don't use it that mush, but I'll decompile the apk & check in to it. Iv done a few mms.apks & a few touchwiz themes,
But I have a LOT OF HOMEWORK, so no ETAS!

I doubt this is going to happen. Even if someone does do it, the next time Imo updates it will have to be re-done... I attempted to do it but was getting errors from the decompiler so I decided to stop installing buggy garbage onto my computer and leave well enough alone.
I'm still interested in this...
Then do it yourself

I don't think that now you can change theme in IMO Messenger, I am using it on Android and PC I didn't find any such option. Maybe you can use this app on PC and try finding it out?
Go to developer options and turn in override force-dark. This will mess up some apps and profile pictures will be inverted but it is wayyyyy better than white theme
