[Q] Switch off screen by pressing touchable buttons. - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello! Do you have any idea to fulfill this option on galaxy s2? This would be easier to turn off the screen without pressing the side button. For instance, if I press and hold the left touchable button I want to switch my screen off, not open the google searcher. Can it be accomplishable?

cannot remove HTC Stocks from screen

Long press on a Home screen is meant to switch the screen to edit mode - and it does, except in the case of the Stocks app. A long press opens the app. I want to remove the widget from the screen and i do not know how to do it.
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers,
Peter
Hold your finger on the widget and move it to the bin.

[Q] unlock screen nook tablet without pressing the N button?

when i use any phone or tablet, i think some day the home button (or the N button in nook tablet) will not be working, so i try to not press it many times,
i found an app "button savior" , it let me go to the home screen easily without pressing the N button,
but every time i want to unlock the screen (slide to unlock) i have to press N button, is there any way to do this without pressing the N button?
for the ipad, smart cover will help unlock, multitasking gestures will help exit apps,... easily. but i'm not using the ipad.
You can unlock with the power button or if you have CM7 installed I believe you can set to unlock with volume keys
Lock Screen app
Before switching to CM7, I use to use a free app called Lock Screen. You may want to try it.

Long Press HOME for Google

By long pressing the HOME button I can bring up 3 commands one being the google button or Google item.
Is there any way to put this as a short cut on the home screen??
When I click the search box on the home screen it doesn't bring up the same Google window (with the mountains) in the background.
I want to have this on my home screen so its easer to access.

If you use any rom that has the Android Navigation Bar along the bottom (or at least has support for it), that will give you exactly what you are requesting. Because if you hold down the home button on the Navigation bar a small popup menu will appear allowing you to select Google Now (Google window with the mountains).
Otherwise, put a shortcut to "Google" from your app menu on your homescreen.

Home button hard press sensitivity settings

Well I had a screen replacement in my Galaxy S9+ and I noticed that Home hard press is way more sensitive tan it was before, I cant pick my phone without pressing it half the time.
Is there a way to tweak that sensitivity beyond that maximum in official settings? Maybe through ADB?
Settings - Display - Navigation Bar - Hard press Home button

Went to autorized Samsung service. They did screen calibration for free, now it works as intended.
