Im searching a ROM (favoured AOKP or AOSP) with working samsung keyboard.
I tested Checkrom and Foxhound but they changed too much. I want ICS Aosp style. Like Slim ROM/hydrog3n/cm9 etc but nowhere samsung keyboard can be found.
Do you know how to get samsungs apps working or do you know a rom with that?
And the samsung Clock is my favourite in contrast to aosp clock.
I just need a rom with the libraries. Including the apks can be done by myself.

I have flashed cyanogen mod 9 on my sgs2. I love the rom. I know it's a weird question, but does anyone know where or how to install both samsung app store and samsung music hub? Are the apk's available from anywhere?
You can't on cm9, install the samsung ics rom if you want samsung apps.
Thank you for the info. Sacrificing those two things is well worth having cm9. I was thinking it was as simple as installing the apks - I assume it needs samsung framework to run
1) Does this launcher work on i9100 Galaxy S2, because many sites redirects to that page, even if the phone is not i9000. If it will not work, what will?
1a) I assume this launcher changes the icons from stock android to Touchwiz looking? If not, what does then?
2) How can i get the closest Touchwiz look on CM10? Can i get any Samsung based applications and widgets, like clock, or weather? I dont like the look of pure vanilla Jelly Bean Android. I understand, that CM10 is currently a preview, and not fully stable, but when it comes out from the ''beta'', i assume things will work better on it?
3) Samsung based roms with customizations would be best. I see, that there are no 4.1.1 based S-based roms. Is that because Samsung hasn't released official 4.1.1 firmware for i9100?
3a) That means that Samsung based Touchwiz things only work on newer versions of Android, if Samsung supports them, with new official roms?
4) What is the talk about people wanting Samsung based (Touchwiz) camera on custom roms?
5) HTC Sense look would also be nice on Jelly Bean. Is that possible? Sense 3, or 4, both look nice.

Huh... you want a rom built by samsung but that has absolutly nothing samsung made in it? Not sure how's that even possible
There's only 2 ways to go, from what i understand:
- for absolutly nothing related with samsung your best bet is any rom compiled (and modded) from google sources like CM10, aokp, slimbean, etc
or
- any samsung based rom with those aroma setups that allow for the removal of just about anything before installing. In this sense you'll be good with just about any rom you pick since all seem to have it But you'll still have samsung stuff in it since they built it, not sure if there's how to go round that

Will i am new in this android world and in really early stages in modding and flashing ,but the android modding so far is similar to what i use to do with Windows Mobile bck in the days ,it was possible to get stoke WM rom and install it in just any device and build whatever on it

Im new to custom ROMS and have been trying many, I have settled at the moment on wanamlite ROMS which have what I want on and enjoy using. He updates regularly but recently he has stopped all theming and modding of his ROMS. I would like to try and get back the Blue Icons theme and the CRT Off that were on his Earlier ROMS. Could anyone help or direct to something that might be compatible with the ROM I currently have.
I am using his latest v5.5 based on XXELLA.
Any help appreciated.

so basically i need cm11 to look like stock rom....with its interface and stock rom apps.....personal reasons dont ask why i would be really glad if there was anyway i would REALLY be happy about a solution to this....i found a theme for cm11 to look like touchwiz but additionally to that i need cm11 to include the stock rom apps and of course the look :angel:
you can theme it as you've found out already but you cannot get the TouchWiz and it's apps to work on the CM rom.
