I have 2 android devices (HTC ONE X (Phone) And Asus Transformer TF101 (Tablet)). Both have chrome beta on.
I have nver been able to get both devices to sync properly. There can only ever be one devices synced. Both devices are rooted. When flashing a new rom, and if I dont wipe when flashing then the device stays synced. If I wipe when flashing,then it moves over to the other device.
Example -
HTC ONE X - recently flashed a a new update, and it has synced fine... I can see my bookmarks...
ASUS TF101 - Been sat there on same flash for a while, and has stopped syncing.. It has no bookmarks at all. If I was to bookmark one on there, I would then loose my bookmarks on the phone.
On the browser on desktop, it hasn't synced any new ones. It has synced one before from when I was flashing an old device, and the tab was left... I have one book mark in there, which isn't on my phone or tab anymore!!
I tried to do it by making a folder inside the mobile folder called tabs, but that didnt help... It still only tried to sync the "mobile" bookmarks folder..
Any help on this would be great!

Can any one please help me? I have restored my HTC HD2 to factury default, since then I have not been able to access my bookmarks in Opera or IE.
Is there something Ive done or better still, something Ive have not done?

more info please, do you mean they have gone? did you re sync your bookmarks? cos they were wiped when you factory reset your phone.
had you chosen to sync bookmarks through wmdc? had you been using opera 10? cos that doesn't sync the same as opera9.
I had to hard reset because I could not access my favorites using IE or Opera using both standard home screen or Sense. Once the phone was back to factory settings, the favorites tab still acting dead because when I click on it nothing happened. I then sync back to my PC and again could not access the favorites.
My only option to resolve this was to download from HTC website the exact ROM allready on the phone and then flashed it to which the favorites are now accessable. I have only just done that. However if you have an answer that would be good so if it did happen again I could resolve it without flashing.
I hope all that made sense....

I am searching for an app that syncs google bookmarks and honeycomp stock browser bookmarks.
Any ideas?
In past i used an app that is called bookmarks to sd. But this is an plugin for dolphin browser and requires dolphin.
It's built into the Tab's settings but at the moment it doesn't appear to be working correctly. Otherwise you could look for Xmarks in the Market but I don't think it's free.

It is weird because it was working great on the Xoom, but when I switched to the Tab only my bookmarks from the 'Other bookmarks' folder in Chrome are syncing. Maybe it was a bug from the Samsung tweaks of Honeycomb

Not working for me either but I am not 100% stock. Is this working for anyone?
Definetly a samsung issue my asus tf worked a charm with bookmarks instantly synced however this device downloaded the lot over night and now only four are showing

Worked fine for me, through several resets, and two different Tab 10.1's this week.
Takes awhile to sync though, it'll show empty for almost an hour, sometimes.
My Chrome bookmarks were synced fine before the latest major update (not the 3MB, the 180MB). But now I have no bookmarks, even though Browser says it's set to sync with Chrome and my Google account. Another thread says that the 3MB is supposed to fix the sync issue, and but the update isn't available to me as of yet.

I thought mine wasn't working either but after about 3 days of waiting all bookmarks had been synced. Then I read in another forum that samsung had throttled the bandwidth for syncs its incredibly slow!

I've been using the browser with cyanogen mod 9 for a while now and lately I've been getting a sync evrror message while trying to sync my bookmarks with the different browser.
I had tried to do everything in order to solve this problem, I forced closed the app,deleted cache , delete cache abd dalvik in recovery; I've evendone a full reset to CM9 and Didn't restore anything and it didn't fix the problem itself.
Yesterday I flashed cyanogenmod 10 and problem wasn't fixed. I think it has something to do with my gmail account or my computer's Chrome setting, but Im just guessing.
(I can sync my computer's Chrome bookmarks to my device chrome [although I need to keep the Sync on in order to see my bookmarks, which didn't happen when the default broswer was working correctly]).
Please help me with that.

I've had the same issue on every device I've had on CyanogenMod for the post two years EVO 4G, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G touch, and now Sony Xperia T on CM10 and 10.1.
Does anyone have a fix anywhere?

I have Nook Tablet rooted with Indirect's method and I also read on my PC occasionally using Nook for PC. I am under the impression that Nook should sync between devices. Now, my library syncs just fine, if I buy a book online it pushes to my nook. However, shouldn't the last page read also sync? This feature is not working for me. Is it because I am rooted? Is there anyway around this?

I had the same problem using the Amazon Kindle app. It only went away when I ditched the stock ROM and flashed CM7. Not sure what the deal with the sync is, but manual sync would work okay half the time as an intermittent solution.

Hey all this a first time post for me although I have been using this site for a long time(maybe as far back as my G1)
I just bought a Nexus 4 for my wife and have fully installed the stock image for 4.4, I would like to now go and merge/organize her contacts with her google account from her current sim card(I have to cut it down, no problem there) add some of her photos from her old phone an (LG dumb phone) maybe set her background and install some apps and set some configurations for her, then reset the intro/walk-throughs for when I give it to her like its a brand new phone but she can start using things like facebook right away.
