I need some keyboard like Swype with Greek and English languages.
Any ideas?

Swiftkey is the best multi-language keyboard I have seen.
They have a tablet beta on there website you can try out.
Just tried it, but no sweeping.
Is there another option?

Thumb keyboard is not working like Swyping, so its not an option.

I use FlexT9 Speak-Trace-Write-Tap... unfortunately it costs $4.99. However it was on amazon free app of the day a couple of times, which is when I picked it up. It has the swype option that you're looking for, and that is basically why I use it for both my droid2 and nc.
From all that I tried, Slide It seems to be the best.
Thanks everybody for suggestions.

Swiftkey seems to do the job for me, but unfortunately it needs 35mb of ram.
Any other keyboards that don't use so much ram?

Definately - use the HTC one!
If you don't like the standard keyboard, try SlideIT. Works very well!

X2 totally agree
i practiced with the swype keyboard on my x1 because i know i was gonna get the x10.
i thought since the screen was smaller on the x1 if i could use it then i would be a breeze on the x10. i was totally right.
it is by far the best keyboard.
plus when ppl see you use it they are amazed. ive impressed a few of my friends with it already
I make use of the "Thick Buttons" Keyboard from android market. I like the letter prediction.
Swype is by far and away the best keyboard on any device.
It works tremendously well with the X10 to the point that I can type emails faster than people on full qwerty (HW/SW) or T9.
Hoping it comes out for full release soon.
swipe is great. but if you like to type or can't find the swipe ask the HTC_ime keyboard is great.

Swype is the only thing that can shut an iPhone fanboy up causing heavy jaw dropping. I witnessed it a few time already, and I can tell you - it feels good
Another vote for Swype, I have been using it for 2 weeks now and love it, anyone have a newer version i'm using version 1.25.16.5612
Swype is the fastest way to type on any smartphone

i Was Wondering If You Could Help Me?
When i Turn Swype To The Side It Says:
The Swype package you have installed does not match the screen sixe of the device. Please contact Swype about this issue.

Play Store keep saying that this is not compatible with my Xperia S running .73 system.
This is weird since this seems not related to Gingerbread...
Any ideas ?
I'm in .67 and work fine for .73 any ideas sorry.

The app works fine for my device, although you cannot search for it in market (not compatible).

You are right. I also tested in my Arc S. very smooth. Just need some more customization like auto rotation, more desktop screen, Better dock bar, resizable widget, etc. Hope they will bring those things very soon. But not yet tested on Xperia S.
Yes , and i think it's not a hd.When i compare with sdk launcher it's like a tv in 60 hz and one 100hz.When i've start the apps i'm very happy with the originality of this launcher but after compare with sdk quality of colours etc..i think it very expensive for the moment.Did to see if the dev's make more with this app.

I tried this out and to be honest, while it is very smooth it seems a bit gimmicky to me. I wish you could revert to the swipe left and right, the cards thing is too fiddly if you are in a hurry

If you select multiple input languages (I have Dutch and English) it just becomes a language switch and much less annoying. But the keyboard isn't the best, I preferred the old 2011 version (the one on the Arc, Neo, ...)

Thumb keyboard. To me it's the best. I prefer it over swiftkey. Swype is also a good alternative.
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
I use the stock still, but have you tried SlideIT? I used it on my X10 and found it pretty decent. It kinda works like the stock, but without the settings key
I don't find the settings button a problem because I switch between English and Dutch a lot, so it's not there.
I use Smart Keyboard Pro

Honestly, The gingerbread keyboard is the greatest of all time.
Smooth, Precise, and ACTUALLY suggests curse words once you save them. :good:

I can't decide, lol. Normally I go with swift key or Google keyboard , but I've been playing around with others .. like touchpal, but I feel the Samsung stock keyboard is the best. I love the one handed mode. If I liked to swipe I would go with touch pal, but since I find myself never really using the swipe feature the keyboard isn't that good. What about you all ?? Is there any way to theme the stock keyboard ??

I usually use swiftkey, but I do like the Samsung stock with the numbers on the top. Plus at first I never realized that in settings you can enable the swipe action like in swiftkey or Google keyboard. Seems on some of the ROMs it isn't enabled by default

Personally I don't trust any third-party keyboards with everything I type (passwords etc). Especially after they incorporated cloud dictionary storage (Swiftkey, beware).
