I accidently locked the bootloader. I had to goto HTCDEV and get a new unlock_code.bin. My old Unlock_code was now incorrect for my phone. This happened after flashing PH85IMG ENG 1.90.2005.zip and forgot to relock the bootloader. Afterwards my bootloader went from unlocked to locked, not relocked. That was last night and I was tired. Today for fun I was trying to do it again on purpose. After a few hours no luck. When this happened my phone was S=off the cid set to 11111111 HBOOT was JuopunutBear 1.93.2222 I was going back to ICS from a telus GB. Before playing with this anymore, I want to make sure this isn't already done? If HTC warranty be valid again on the phone? Or is it not worth working on.
Thanks

It is locked because its the eng bootloader. When you flash back to eng bootloader from jbear hboot, it should also be locked once again.
Your warranty is most likely void for any software caused problems that u may have in future.
The good news is they will still cover hardware issues AND most software issues can be fixed in these threads

The unroot guides in the DEV section are for those with a non-ENG H-boot. Since I did the original root method I am on the ENG H-Boot and from reading posts in the DEV Guide you need to be on a shipped H-Boot to unroot. Is this correct and how do you get back to the shipped H-Boot?
If this does not belong here, I apologize and feel free to move it to the appropriate forum.

Search for threads started by Football in this forum. You will find the RUU for the sprint shipped ROMs. Run one and you will get a shipped HBOOT. If it's 2.08.651.2, you will get HBOOT 1.50 (the one that only htc's unlock method works for). You will still be S-off and can still flash anything you want at this point. You might be able to turn the s-flag on, but I've never done it.
Hello, I have a big problem!
On my HTC Flyer (P512) is d HBOOT 1.11.0011
Is it possible to rooten with this HBOOT and if so how?
Am very grateful for any help!
Is it an org. RUU ...... import?
Sorry for my bad English.
check out the thread below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358758&highlight=how+to+re-lock+bootloader
Thanks for the tip!
But unfortunately it does not go with this HBOOT!
I have this HBOOT on my flyer, I unlocked the bootloader or whatever using the method on HTCDev website, then flashed a specific CWM by revolutionary.
Then can flash custom roms but copying the .zip file to the sd card, flashing with CWM, and then need to extract the boot.img file from the .zip file and flash by Fastboot.
If this doesnt make sense then you need to read alot of the posts in the flyer dev forum.
.

May well have sorted it, but I used HTCdev.com to unlock bootloader and then started at stage 10 of this guide: http://android.modaco.com/topic/345...g-honeycomb-on-your-flyer-the-complete-guide/
Seems to have worked great, bit frightening though
Just wanted to to let all the people who are flashing there EVO 3D to boost and you do the Juopunutbear S-OFF method you will i repeat YOU WILL HAVE TO REFLASH IT TO BOOST MOBILE ask me how i know so dont do it if you can not flash it by yourself thanks for looking any questions just ask.
Same goes for the other S-Off technique

Yep, just about any S-OFF method will do this if you're on another carrier.
As a side note, @OP, This doesn't belong in this forum. Please post things like this in the General forum. I've messaged a mod to have it moved already.
Locked. There seems to already be a thread in general on this by...you guessed it YOU.
DO NOT create the same thread in multiple locations

like I am buyting at&t htc one but seller said its unlocked just by codes given by at&t itself (as the seller is stating) and he says nothing else like rooting or bootloader unlocked is not done on it . But I will check if he is true or lieing as he is not telling me if its bootloader unlocked too . So just tell me this that if its (only) bootloader unlocked then I will see s-off instead of s-on ??? or I can still see s-on even if the device is just bootloader unlocked ,,,,,
how to check that its not bootloader unlocked ?! and I will surely get future updates ?! From where it will get the future updates ? like by htc server or still by at&t ?
Turn off device... Press and hold volume down the press power until boot loader comes up... All the info you need is there... Is boot loader unlocked and s-on/off are two different things.... If he says is only unlocked you should see boot loader locked and s-on...

Hi! First of all, sorry for my english. I have an ONE MAX International and I can't revert it to original state. I read all of the threads about that but none of them helped me. I rooted my phone, flashed an insecure kernel, s-off, tampered banner removed, locked the bootloader. Now I have bootloader unlocked again with htcdev. I know there are many threads about that but all are different. I don't know which steps I have to follow in order to go back to stock and not brick my phone. This is the actual state of the phone:
T6UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID HTC__203
HBOOT 2.49.0000
Radio 4T.24.3218.09
OpenDSP v33.120.274_T6.0829
OS 2.61.1540.1
TWRP v2.6.3.0
Please help me! Thanks!

You need an RUU to bring your phone to stock, not sure if your phone's RUU is available on the forum.
[Wrong post - @Jiggity Janx pointed to the solution ]
Please help us with the solution.
I for one am not aware of any public dump/ruu etc or if you see any other solution besides the useless one that clearly doesn't apply to our situation.

Just like the other person you should probably understand the thread and the question before you remove a valid answer that was provided and leave the nonsensical useless post that says no solution exists.
I saw your post before it was deleted. So if I follow the exact same steps with exactly those files from that thread I will be able to go back to stock? Now I am on NuSense6 ROM, so I will need a backup from another phone but I don't know which backup will work for me. And after I find the backup and download the files from that thread, which are the steps, what files should I flash first? This is the thread I am talking about: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2718415
