[REQUEST] Sense 4.0 tones - HTC EVO 3D

I love having different ring tones and messaging tones and really liked some of the new tones in sense 4.0 but because of bugs I reverted back to a 3.6 rom. Can someone already on a 4.0 rom package the tones into a flashable zip or something so I can put them on my rom with sense 3.6? TIA.

Here is a compressed file of the audio from 4.o.
If you extract this and place the extracted file into the current rom your running and reflash it you should have all the audio

Perfect thanks! Just downloaded it looks like I won't even have to do that I'll just extract the sounds and push them over. Should work fine. At work now so don't have the time. But thanks a ton! I love xda.

Ok, I have one issue, now my ui sounds aren't working...I haven't even touched that folder. Any suggestions? All ringtones and notifications work just fine.

What rom and how did you install these?

1.13.652.1_ICS_SENSE36_SIGNED.zip
I extracted the zip, then copy and pasted alarms, notifications, and ringtones..I never mess with the ui folder.

Reason I asked what rom is that it seems on some roms I have been on the "sound on screen selection" setting would turn itself off at random after a reboot or something. Which ui sounds aren't working? All of them?
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium

Yeah all of them....lock and unlock, keypress..all of them don't work..if I click on any of the sounds in the ui folder, they play..I dunno, it's weird lol

Did you reboot? I dunno. After I copied mine over and set permissions I rebooted. But if they're in there and you didn't touch them they should be working.

Rebooted, noticed they weren't working after moving files into the other folders, rebooted into recovery, wiped cache and dalvik, rebooted to ROM, still nothing. But the alarms, ringtones, and notifications work just fine...

Not sure. I can try and post just the ui folder on here for you if you want.

Reflashing your rom would work too, but I know that can be a pain if you've got other mods and such.

Yeah, it's worth a shot..thanks!

Here's my ui folder. Hope it helps.

Yeah seriously...you should only hear this when your files are converted to ext4....need details

maybe he is talking about the sound emitted when you plug in your USB even if the phone is muted.
This has been removed in the CM7
community rom 1.3...high energized theme.
its not the voodoo voice, its a new voice i have been hearing a week or so

It was a left over from GrainOsands High Voltage personal theme that many people said they enjoyed. You'll have to ask what the specific files are so you can remove them...probably something in /system/media. Opening the drop down notification will interupt the sound from playing in the meantime.
Have you shutdown your phone yet? The shutdown sound is pretty funny.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
yea it is..catches me off guard sometimes
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA Premium App
I don't know if straight up deleting the file will cause force closes so try copying 'Charger_Connection.ogg' from /system/media/audio/ui in an unthemed ComRom .zip and pasting it in the same directory on your phone. If it asks you to overwrite the file say yes.
I know that just deleting the shutdown.ogg will get rid of the shutdown sound without causing issues.
Hopefully it works for you.

Just go into audio manager (should come with the theme) and set system volume to zero

[Q] eclipse 1.3/stock keyboard on cm7??

Anyone happen to have the apk for the stock keyboard? I would like to have it on my cm7 rom. Is this even possible since its the blur keyboard? Maybe I'm just SOL? Anyone have any input on this? I hate the keyboard that comes with cm7. I'm using swift key now but I really likes the stock keyboard.
Mixer themed cm7 X duce
Anyone?

I've wondered that myself. I imagine it should work. Make a nandroid, push it into system apps, fix permissions, reboot and see what happens. You may have to change your input method.

Sound stop working

My sound stop working on the resound. My phone is always on vibrate so I don't know when it started. It works through the headphones, but not the externals.
Any advice?
I am going to try and restore an old backup of the system and new kernals, radio, and Rom if that doesn't work.

Make a nandroid, flash another rom. Still doesn't work, time to RUU and see if they work. If not, probably a hardware issue.

Phone/Dialer force close

I couldn't find any other threads on this subject. Every time I try to access the keyboard in the middle of a phone call it forces closes and drops the call, the device usually freezes so I have to do a battery pull to fix. I'm on MDK stock ROM. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Better to start soft before you go hard at the problem. If you dont have much on your phone and you dont mind it getting erased I would try a factory reset to see if that solves the problem, though im doubting it will. Have you tried a different keyboard to see if the problem lies with that specific keyboard?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Did you mess with/mod anything related to secphone.apk (dialer, theming dialer or phone app) or anything at all related to contacts or messaging? What keyboard are you using? Hexitnow's advice is your best bet. In case that doesn't work you could go extract the mdk secphone seccontacts and secmms apks from a stock mdk rom and either push them to system or flash a zip containing them. Only try these if you have a custom recovery though and you should make a backup in case anything should go wrong.
