What issue you have?
I'm on the ROM and don't recall any problem with sending/receiving mms.
I believe I'm still on the KH7 modem

Do you have data turned on? Mms generally seem to be sent via mobile data, not WiFi

APN settings?
I also had this issue before using Task's AOKP. I was told to clear data for messaging in Settings. It works. I have to do it every now and then when they don't want to send. Maybe this will help.
Are you guys on default apn settings?

I get EXACTLY the same thing here and always have. It just stays on "Sending..."
I haven't tried clearing data for messeging though.
Also, you need data to send the mms? It won't work on WiFi?

Were those the questions?
If so, yes, you need to turn on DATA in order to Tx/Rx the MMS.
Wifi has no effect on mms.

Yeah, those were questions.
I just tried it and, lo and behold, it works using data when I turn off WiFi.
Weird. I never knew that.

To send mms you need mobile network data enabled, have the apn set as mms and the picture should be small enough.

I just got my galaxy s2 yesterday, rooted, and flashed a few different roms. I can get calls and internet but I can't send or receive texts or mms. I called customer support and they were clueless. All my apn settings seem to be ok. I'm not sure what the problem could be.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
A little more info would be helpful. What rom are you on now and did SMS/MMS work on any of the ones you installed? If so, when did it stop working?
I just installed Mac os on my laptop. Why doesn't the wifis and touch pad werkz?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
I never tried sending any texts pre-root. I only noticed the trouble once i had already rooted and flashed lite'ning, cm7, and unnamed. SMS/MMS didn't work under any of those roms. I'm on unnamed right now. This is the sixth android device I've rooted and I've never had a problem like this. All the apn setting are correct, i assume. I've checked them on a couple of different forums.
Put your sim in another phone and see if it works then.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
Try SMS message center from within the messaging app.
I think the numbers are regional, mine is +13123149810, you may need to call att for the correct number in your area.
Sent from my Galaxy S II (i777)
Take it back 100% to stock and see if you're still having issues. If it is working you'll be better able to figure out where it messed up when you go to flash another rom.

I took it to an AT&T store today. I was able to use SMS/MMS once they gave me a new sim card. Don't know why I didn't think of that before. Oh well, thanks for the responses!

I noticed that the clock/weather widget could not show location. It just says current location. When I try to find it, it says location services unavailable. GPS is on and works. Maps works. So I'm just wondering what's going on. It isn't an issue, but I'm curious if anyone else is having this issue and has a fix?

First off, I'm on the telus network. I flashed the ROM last night and have not had service since. I have tryed to either my APN settings to the telus settings but still no service. So I tryed to flash the latest modem and still no service. Any ideas?

You need to clarify what you mean by "no service". Is it data or phone or both?

After editing your apn settings, you are pressing menu, then save? Then select the circle box next to the apn name? Correct?
That should do it.

I'd start all over to rule everything out.
Flash in Odin and factory reset. See if you get a signal. If not flash a different radio and see if that gives you a signal. You need to be able to get a signal and get voice then worry about data and the apn settings.

Well it's not a TMobile like issue then. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Maybe there some kind of hidden provisioning somewhere that's not letting you connect to the network.

You have so many threads going it is hard to follow what you have done and what you haven't. Things I suggest to Try:
Reflash just the modem
Use the newer version of Odin
Format USB storage before flashing ROM
And if all else fails then flash this and try the JB ROM afterwards: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657279
